Two years ago, when Ryo was orphan, he came into the dojo of Shinhichiro Yuki, a master of Hayoku-Ken Style Karate. Yuki took Ryo into his dojo and trained him. Two years later, Ryo grew into an impressive fighter and gets invited by master Yuki into the World Fighter Tournament, a martial arts competition held by Hamato Hasashi, a legendary martial artist. Ryo decides to enter to test and hone his skills, but unknown to him, Ryo is actually also a member of the Hasashi family and there is an evil power inside him that has passed from generation to generation of the Hasashis.
