You know how people say that an especially odd person was dropped on their head as a baby? Well, I actually was. That probably explains a lot. I veer from slightly to more than slightly insane. For the most part, I'm a loner who finds solace in a magical world inside my head populated by my favorite movie characters. When I'm not doing schoolwork, writing or just chilling out, I'm at the local theater rehearsing a new play. I love European history, and I hope to teach it later in life. My favorite genre is history, and I lean towards the steampunk crowd. If Hollywood ever decides that it wants to make a decent adaptation of "Frankenstein" or "Dracula," I'd be more than happy to help with the script.

Rating:I really love what you've done with this piece. Creating a dark Wonderland may not be a new idea, but this one feels like it has its own identity. The rules you've made enhance the setting rather than constrain it; I love the rationale behind the need for a ruler. Alyss feels like someone with a complex past instead of just a viewpoint character, and I can't wait to see what you do with the other characters she's going to encounter. If there's anything to criticize, then your exposition does slip a little close to infodump territory at times (mainly when she's fighting the Prejudie in the third chapter). But for the most part, I think you're doing very well. Keep it up!
