The Hidden Words by Noelle Downey In Progress

That it felt like somewhere, in some other world or universe, galaxies ripped apart, diseases were cured, and epiphanies exploded into human consciousness because at that moment for the first time ever he knew. He knew who he was. And he could see it. He could see the stories, coming together and entertwining and pulling away and twisting together once more, like waves lapping a beach, ebbing and flowing endlessly. But for me it wasn't like that. There was no explosion. No bright light, no certainty. There was only the word... and nothing else." In a world of government-mandated boundaries and harsh unquestioned laws,a group of Rebels rise up to open the minds of those around them to the secrets hidden right before their eyes. Quaye Fletcher never thought of herself as a hero. But when she realizes she too has the ability to read the hidden words, her life changes forever. Now she is different. Now she has a gift.
