Xenia, a Dremeadow fugitive with thousands in gold on her head for "conspiracy against the Crown," has evaded capture by Dremeadow soldiers and bounty hunters alike for half a decade. When the halfling, now safely hidden in Simillior with an alias, goes to the Traitor's Festival for food, she has a narrow miss with several Dremeadow guards. She then encounters an unexpected pair that ultimately incites her to confront both her inner demons and her dark past.
