Amber V. Dalcourt was convinced that her family home was haunted. Surrounded by storytellers and half a family tree steeped in mythology, lore and superstition, she drew on her occult heritage to conjure up demons, ghosts and things that go bump-in-the-night to fill the pages of her imaginary world.

A self-proclaimed lazy perfectionist, she would often lose herself in deep, multi-level stories through gaming and fantasy novels. Early on, she was mesmerized by the power of the written word and visual storytelling, shaping her career in Design and Animation around it.

She is a lover of modern sorcery, psychological character portrayals, epic battles between good and evil and the huge grey area that separates them.

The first of the short stories were published as eBooks in 2013:
The Game: Beta Testing - http://myBook.to/beta-testing
Dream Eater - http://myBook.to/dream-eater

Collectively the Awakening: Fractured Memories have ranked #1 Amazon's Bestseller in: occult, short stories & anthologies, short fiction. The Awakening series is a supernatural fantasy, set in a post-apocalyptic future where humanity is pushed near the brink of extinction by demonic forces.

You can find extras and behind the scenes content over on the Awakening website: http://www.awakeninganthology.com/

Hey there! I'm Kira, there's not much to say about me other than I love anime and write poems more than books, but I still write Fan-fics even though my writing skills are terrible. :3 But hey, I get points for trying right?! I never know what genre to put on my poems though xD, there's no 'Slightly morbid but not gory' category. Anywhoo, about me I guess I write, I draw, I sing, I'm lazy, so the usual.

I hope you like my stuff and thanks for checking my profile out!

Hello! I am a female writer from Georgia, USA and I believe most of my inspiration comes from the books I read, and television shows that I watch. Besides writing, I have a strong interest in music, and writing in my eyes seems like a good way to bend my style. When you think in a creative mode, you also will most likely sound creative and all of the colors will resonate from your horn, or keyboard, or even from your own mouth. Words are powerful, and the way that the people before us built them up makes me shiver and sit here and think in complete awe.

Interest: Writing, roleplaying, playing instruments, listening to music, drawing, chatting, having fun, watching movies/long tv shows without commercials, mythology, history, science, and lots and lots and lots more.

Bragging rights: whut

Currently reading (offline): Insurgent - Veronica Roth

Currently reading (on Sparkatale):

Mood: OHMERGAWD ITS COLD

Word of the month (April): Infatuated

  • Definition: to be inspired with an intense but short-lived passion or admiration for.
  • “Yes, I was infatuated with you: I am still. No one has ever heightened such a keen capacity of physical sensation in me. I cut you out because I couldn't stand being a passing fancy. Before I give my body, I must give my thoughts, my mind, my dreams. And you weren't having any of those.”
― Sylvia Plath, The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath

Okay, so, yeah... I am completely more interesting than this. Tsk, tsk. Oh, well. Shoot me a message if you want to collaborate, brainstorm, or do anything, whatever?

Hello, I'm Joakim and you can call me whatever you like as long as you're polite about it.

My favorite genres are alternative or anything having to do with history, war, fantasy, sci-fi and horror. You can also read my stuff of Fictionpress.com, Fanfiction.net and Penana.com. I go under the name "Jochern" at these sites. Feel free to send a pm and ask me about anything about my stories or something else. I'm happy to answer whatever concerns you. I am also on Deviantart. I was there several years ago, before I started going as "Jochern' so I'm "General-Wallenburg there.

My current work, the story "Forgotten World" is the first book in a line of several books concerning the world of Atheros and its people as darkness and light fight, as Godlike beings use the common folk as pawns in a war on another plain of existence.

Hello viewer(s) of this page!

I'm SAERider, but you can call me Saern. Neither of which is anything close to my name, so don't worry, if you botch it I won't care :) my real name on the other hand....

That aside, I'm a college student, junior, recently transferred from one college to another. For the moment I'm loving my new location. We'll see after finals how I feel about it XD

I write when I feel like it, so I wouldn't expect consistent updates. Although nice encouraging comments do help. At the moment I can't seem to write more than 1500 words per "chapter" but I'm trying to get those numbers up.

deviantART has been my main uploading site. With mid-terms approaching, I don't foresee much uploading to this site.

If you're really interested: http://saerider.deviantart.com/

Cheers!

Saern
