So, I'm sort of an amateur science-fiction writer I guess you could say. I've been working on this one writing project for over ten years now, and this project has only gotten larger in scope as time has gone on. Four books and several smaller experimental stories in the making, my evolving experience with creating fiction is continuously expanding.

My works tend to get pretty abstract with metaphysical concepts like how the universe works, or how multiple alternate / parallel universes work. There are inspirations from a lot of more conventional action genres of fiction that make it a wild ride to read and write.

Comments, questions, and feedback are always greatly appreciated!

Hello, there!

Let’s start with a name: Leo Daniel di Angelo.

For clearer purposes, I am not called Leo Daniel di Angelo, though I do give quite an attention to it. It’s a pseudonym I created by putting together three people’s names. To be exact, character names. To be more exact, book characters. I wouldn’t be direct about it, but the first name, I got from a story about teens having an adventure across the world, riding a giant warship that hovers in the air. The person behind the Wii controls maneuvering the whole ship is whom I got it from. The second name is from a story about great bloodlines, talented people, mixture of several ingredients for making a very important, yet dangerous, liquid, and of course, saving the world. My last name, which I suppose is Italian, comes from the same story I first mentioned. This guy is a little dark though, but he’s cool.

Should I tell my real name then?
Let’s just say my real first name starts with a letter which failed to get into tenth place. The name that follows it starts with a letter that roughly falls behind the first one. Let’s skip last names. Let’s just say the first three letters of it — which basically forms a word sadly related to Trigonometry (or it can also refer to a change in color, depends whether you’re a math geek or a summer person), are repeated, then an “o” is added at the end.

Vague? Just forget about it.
Other details?
I live in the Pearl of The Orient Sea. Born on the first month, fourth day, and I don’t know how high or low this year is ranked. Let’s just say it makes it so that I exist in Earth for sixteen years now, and counting, hopefully. I’m kind of an introvert. I spend more time bathed in fluorescent lights than sunshine. I have a limited and selective social interaction. But I do have friends. I believe people are desperate. I love the night sky, and I think people should look at stars more. I think that when they do, they’d think better, and this world would be better with people like that. And importantly, I believe in God.

Now, I’ll talk about interests. Other people’s interest can be interesting, right?

I love books and music and Disney.
I love how thousands of lives, stories, magic, possibilities, wonders, can be sewn together in a heap of beautifully connected words, bound in paper, and held together by a great sense of inspiration.
I love how rhythm and melody dance with words, showing us that it’s not just about being read, it’s about being heard too. Though I must include, I’m very bad at singing.
No matter how people may fret over how Disney is for kids, I can’t just ignore that it’s what helped me achieve more humor and understanding, inspiration and ideas, as I witnessed the world get swallowed by time.

I’m also in love with words. Though that doesn't mean I’m good at sewing them up. I love their variations, their lengths, their meanings, their sound. So though it’s not best, i try my hardest to make them work.

I love connections and complications. The way one thing is tied to the other. The way their threads grow long and tangled. The way they intersect and cross, over and under one another without losing their own color.

I love the cosmos. The way the word sounds, and the way the word means. The vastness is unimaginable. Us, a dot in this world. But this world, a dot in the cosmos. A field of colors and mystery, of the unknown and the unseen. Where all the stars gather and the heavenly bodies sing.

I love the night sky and the stars. The thought that their purpose holds two great meaning. One is to prevent the world from falling into the black hands of darkness. The other, to flash beauty in our eyes. The thought about being infinite — which in fact is my favorite word, and never ending, that when this whole Earth turns to dust, they remain in place, twinkling and being beautiful.

That’s pretty much me.
I believe there’s still a lot to find, no matter how turned the world has become.

Hi! I'm Cris and I'm an aspiring animator who wants to start off first with writing. It's interesting of how you can create anything just by writing about it. I really love anime and my stories are usually like 90% influenced on it. So don't be surprised if you see that stuff in my stories lol.

An aspiring writer and a monster in human skin. 'Nuff said.

I write in the following genres: Horror. Mystery, Supernatural, Sci-Fi, and Monster Erotica. Just to make things clear: if you're disturbed by monster or monster/human pairings, I don't suggest you read any of my works. I'm open to critique and advice if it is helpful for me to grow as a writer, so feel free to point out the grammatical, stylistic, and spelling errors. I know that some of you will like my works, some of you won't, and I accept that; but keep in mind that offensive comments and insults, especially about my personality will not be tolerated. I write for myself and for those readers who like this type of stuff, and I'm glad to make them happy with my stories.

Big thanks to all who read and evaluate my stories, and I sincerely hope you like them!

Hi, my name is Amanda. I'm a twenty-something girl with a single ambition: finish a novel. Right now, I'm re-working and completing my project from NaNoWriMo 2011-- which I won!-- called Conquest. Please take a look if you find some time; reviews, both good and bad, are always welcome! Learning from my reviews is how I grow as an author.

A little about me... I really love writing fantasy; even when I try to write something in the real world it ends up having some supernatural facet. I'm a bit of a romantic when it comes to my characters, I guess, and I write about people I find the most interesting. I tend to be drawn to darker characters for whatever reason-- perhaps the notion of redemption stirring in my soul and trying to get out. I know I've done a good job when my characters come to life and try to take control of the plot.

Some of my favorite books include the Harry Potter series, the Wicked Years by Gregory Maguire (and, in fact, anything by Maguire), the Wrinkle in Time series by Madeleine L'Engle, the Chronicles of Narnia, John Dies at the End by David Wong, Anthem by Ayn Rand, 1984 by Orwell, The D'Artagnan Romances by Dumas (the Three Musketeers is the best one, though).

I love folk and punk music (and any combination thereof). My favorite singer at the moment is Frank Turner. I like to doodle, but I don't have a lot of real talent. I like to learn about history and one of my favorite hobbies when working on a novel is world-building.

Author is an ADHD writer, currently wracking her brain to come up with a project to set off her career (ugh!). SparkaTale is purely a tool for expression and a way to connect with other authors on this sight. I also take reviews very seriously as I believe they are training tools we can offer each other, so I encourage you to leave a review as it will encourage me to do the same for you!

I'm not too much of a poetry writer but if you have poetry you'd like to share send it my way because I'd love to read it!

I absolutely love chatting it up with fellow writers so please, please, please don't hesitate messaging me for anything! I'd love to discuss ideas with you! Also if you don't mind wasting a few minutes on reading more of what I have to say, I am writing up a blog concerning writing, books and many other subjects: La Chuiqui.

I also have a FictionPress account with the same name: Sokulski

Hello guys!

Welcome to my page.  I like to describe myself as the most averagely unaverage guy in the world. Basically I'm a person with a spot of creativity mixed in with a serious dash of weirdness; one of the most awesome and deadly combinations out there.

You should probably know that the stories I currently have planned will be rated T. That being said, due to the choice of language some of the characters use, it might at times be a borderline T rating. Not to worry, there will be no obscene material in my stories beyond a few bad words and some blood. Reason being, I find that many of the borderline T and M games overdo some violence, language, and little things known as "Lemons" that aren't really necessary to forward the plot, or could be toned down a little. Don't get me wrong, I am a teenage male just like many people on this site, and enjoy shooters and hot females. I just have a definitive line in between the "hothothothothothothot/ WHOOOOO! KILL ALL THE BAD GUYS!!!" side and the "wow, they really put this in here?" side. The latter side will be the most prevalent in my stories.

I will heartily accept any and all reviews/criticism, so long as they follow this one simple rule- be honest, but don't trash talk and don't bring down people. Use constructive criticism if you really feel like I put something poor in or someone posted a dumb review. anyone who can't deal with that can go find somewhere else to whine. I deal with enough people like that at school.

I hope you guys understand what i'm trying to say and don't try to hunt me down and force me to write the next chapter if I take a hiatus at any time (especially if you somehow manage to figure out my secret identity and/or know me IRL). Anyways, thanks for checking me out, and I hope you continue to enjoy what I produce.

For those of you who came across my stories without having ever watched RWBY, I wanted to have something that explained the concept of RWBY so that you could read TBH without necessarily knowing what is going on in the show. TBH is special like that, because it doesn't strictly follow anything that's going on in the show. Instead, it happens kind of off screen, and before the events of RWBY Volume one.

The show takes place in the World of Remnant. It's inhabited by humans, Faunus (humans with animal attributes that are basically being persecuted like the African Americans were in the 60s. they even have their own version of the Black Panthers called the White Fang). They are faced with creatures called Grimm, which are bent on exterminating the Humans and Faunus. they're big black creatures with bony like appendage. they take multiple forms (bear=Ursa, boar=Boarbatusk, bird=Nevermore, elephant=Goliath, giant scorpion=Death Stalker, wolf=Beowolf, ect.) This forces Humans into a handful of bordered kingdoms, and small settlements, and are protected by the military, and Huntsmen.

Huntsmen and Huntresses are trained in schools, such as Beacon Academy, to go out through Remnant exterminating Grimm and helping people. they carry massive weapons that usually have multiple forms; like a scythe rifle, grenade launcher hammer, pistol katana, ect. (although my characters don't really go that insane). They get help through Dust (magic crystals) and Aura. Aura is kind of like the life force of the user (although depleting it does not mean a death sentence), which can be used to protect against blows until it runs out, or use their Semblance (an ability that only they can use and varies among users). Semblance examples are speed, polarity (magnets), and illusions. Powerful stuff. Not all have found their Semblance, but everything except the Grimm has an Aura.

The story I wrote focuses on Daniel Grigio, a 16 year old Huntsman in training who is an exception to that last rule, and does not have an Aura. As this makes him similar to the creatures that are trying to eat mankind into extinction, I think you could see how this could be an issue.

Enjoy!

Hey guys. Sorry things have been really quiet here, but my whole policy of getting ahead in writing a story before beginning to post chapters does lead to periods of absolute nothing being posted. This post is kind of to explain what the heck is going on with me nowadays, as well as to say what to expect in the coming months. I chose August 15th for the day, since on this day last year slightly after midnight, I finished the final chapter of Heroes of Rune, the first story I ever completed writing. So yeah, kind of important day for me. I'm going to be talking about both original stories, and fanfictions that I write on my fanfiction.net account. You can find the link to the latter up above.

Anyways, on to updates. To get it over with, I’m going to start with the not so happy news. As Heroes of Rune was coming to a close, I began hinting at a sci-fi story I had been wanting to do for some time. Unfortunately it’s not going to be released; not for a while at any rate. Sorry to anyone who I mentioned that to who was waiting to read it, but I am not actively writing that story. I still have plans to revisit it eventually, as I’ve already got the general plot figured out, and finished three chapters. Unfortunately, after the second chapter was finished, I began to see some stuff that I wanted to change in the story, that unfortunately were pretty key plot elements. Things began to compile, and by the time I finished the third chapter, I really did not want to look at fixing it for a long time. When I do finally go back to the story, it’s not going to be without a gallon of bleach, and a hazmat suit.

I’d like to say that I have a new original story to take its place. And while I can say that I do, it’s also not going to come out for a while. I’m writing the story in chronological order, but the book that I’m currently writing is going to be the third book in the series. It also looks like the book might end up being just as long as HOR, if not longer. I’d begin one of the other stories I have waiting to be written, but unfortunately 2 stories at once seems to be the maximum I can keep up with without going insane and winding up in a mental institute.

Now as for fanfiction, I can accurately say that To Be Human book 2 is coming along nicely. I’m just under 25,000 words (about half that of the first book) and I haven’t even hit the halfway point yet. I don’t have an exact date yet for when it will be released, but plan on doing it sometime in December. I’m really excited to share it with you all, and hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.

So to quickly recap, things have been quiet because I’ve been working on stories in the background, not to mention trying not to fail all my classes to become an engineer. An original story is being worked on, but won’t be seen for some time. TBH book 2 should drop in December. I thank you all for your patience, and hope that you will continue to read my works as they are released in the future.
