Personal Messaging
I think a personal messaging system would be great. On fictionpress, another site I'm on, it's a great help to stay in touch with readers and to get feedback or advice without it being open to the world like with comments.

This is a great idea. Every story website needs private messaging! And by the way I'm on fictionpress and fanficiton! Maybe you could find me on fictionpress. I've got the same username there as I have here.

I totally agree with that thought; it'll be good so other authors can give you feedback on your stories without the whole website seeing it e.g. say you made an embarrassing mistake that they want to tell you about it in private. I'm on fanfiction and fictionpress too!

Agreed! I don't like leaving comments that are useless (obviously), but I know that some people hate those kinds of things being public. I would love to be able to ask the person privately if they want a critique with exact feedback rather than just barreling ahead and doing it like I am now... I also use both of those sites and Readwave...though this is a lot better than Readwave is and has a better layout in my opinion than fictionpress.
