NaNoWriMo? (National Novel Writing Month)
Is anybody else participating in NaNoWriMo? I'm on the Young Writers Program. For those of you who don't know what NaNoWriMo is, it's where you try to write 50,000 words in November. (in the Young Writers Program, though, the word count can be anything). Is anybody else doing it?

Well, there is also Camp NaNoWriMo, which is basically the same thing, except it's in the summer and usually there are two months that you can do it in (the two months change every year. Earlier this year, it was April and July) They also have awards for the winners. Simply, whoever reaches their word-count goal is a winner! They also have a fundraising event in San Francisco, http://nanowrimo.org/writeathon If you want info on the site itself, I'm afraid I can't really get it for you because, currently, I'm only the Young Writer's Program, and that's for people under the age of 18. :\

I don't have time to do it sadly, I have a deadline coming up so all my focus is on that story =S maybe next year if I have nothing going.

Is it only this year? Or do they host it annually. Cause I think this is quite interesting, and will give a shot at it next year;

I tried Nanowrimo this year, but with school I found it impossible to keep up. I am continuing my novel, though, and plan to take it a little slower and finish some time this calendar year.
