Chapter Comments Counting as Comments
I've noticed that a chapter comment doesn't count towards a comment count on the book stat page. I'm not sure if this is the reason or not, but I see hardly anyone taking advantage of the chapter comment feature. As their comments don't show up it may or may not be the reason for the lack of usage of this feature- I still use it, but I don't see many others doing so.

Hmm, yeah i do feel there should be some sort of contribution with chapter comments. But that's just my thoughts, tell me if i'm wrong. O-O

I think it should be its own stat. I feel a chapter comment really should be more used to help with editing and give suggestions where as the book comments should be an overall comment/critique of the work. So I guess in my mind I feel the book comments are more like a mini review for a story in progress while the chapter comment is an editing tool and shouldn't be put with the overall comment count.

Hi everyone, the comment count has been modified to include both chapter and book comments. When you view the book details page you can see how many comments there are for the book/chapters. D.M. Gergen, I hope that's ok with you as you were leaning more towards separating the two.

As a reader I'll survive, as a writer well we all love seeing that little comment number grow :)

What is supposed to come up in the comments? Iv written a few comments on chapters, and they are not there. The only record of any comments are the ones on the finished books? Just wondering :)
