Differentiate between 'comment' and 'review'?

I know they both mean different things, but I was wondering what is classed as a comment and what is classed as a review? Is there a guideline to meet? For instance if I wanted to let the author know my thoughts on a chapter, would that go under a review or comment? Or does it depend on size/length of what I'm saying? I apologise if this has been posted before (I did go looking for it, but maybe I looked in all the wrong places) XD Thanks, guys!

  • Hello =) I used to be really confused about that too.

If you want to comment on a chapter, and are talking to the author as opposed to other readers, you leave a comment with that button in the chapter's top left corner.

Reviews say what you think about the story as a whole, and you have to give a rating out of five stars. I think reviews are for both the author and other readers to see, and you leave one by clicking the "Add a Review" button on the book's home page, in case you didn't know.

I haven't left a review before, but I like to make my comments long, usually 500-1,000 words. Though they don't have to be that long. I hope you found this helpful.
