Year 3751 by Tori A. Rodriguez In Progress
17 centuries into the future, the world is a veritable utopia. Humans live in harmony with nature, there are no more wars, no one goes hungry. The world has become paradise. But it isn't. For the past 75 years, a group of scientist have been experimenting with a new element called Nurite. They've been trying to cure the last remaining illnesses with it. However, Nurite has side effects that are less than desirable. It not only fails to cure illnesses, but it makes people sickly and frail. But it also gives them powers. Powers like moving things with their minds, super strength and the ability to manipulate energy at will. The scientist call their experiments Nurians and keep them hidden away deep underground in what they call the Lab. In the Lab, they conduct experiments to try and control the side effects. But the Nurians are tired of it. They escape, en masse. The scientists, trying to cover their loose ends, sent out soldiers to retrieve their precious Nurians and bring them back to the Lab. In the process, a war is started. A war between the scientists and their soldiers, and the innocent civilians who just want their world back to the way it was before.
