We humans are weak creatures and therefore have no way of defending ourselves from the darkness around us and in our hearts. Yet, we aren't the only creatures out there. Someone, somewhere wants us humans to live, otherwise we would have ceased to exist long ago. These creatures created guardians for us, protectors that keep us safe from the darkness. We don't know about them because they are a secret. They are ancient beings lost in the history of all life. This is the story of how they were created and the purpose that they serve.
