Pressure by ALovelyShade OfRed In Progress
Dealing with responsibilities is hard, more so when everyone expects you to live up to their expectations. Sometimes, when responsibilities and expectations cross the line, your vision gets blurred and in the end, you end up losing a part of yourself. When that happens, and when the frustrations of trying to keep it together builds, you also end up becoming your own worst enemy. The path of finding thyself is long, hard, and exhausting, but it's all worth it when you keep your head above the water. Sometimes, you just need to sink before you can swim, to relax and enjoy the life you've been given, and sometimes, just maybe, it's better to let go than to hold on and lose everything you once knew. The struggles one has to face in order to get from here to there, to the finish line, and remember thyself when they do. "The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life." William Morris.

While smiles are expertly painted on my face no suspects I hold on by breaking strings and start to wonder what its like in the darkness.
