    Rating:
    I am deeply invested in the world you have concocted and the blossoming dynamic between the 2 central characters. Aestra sounds like a very interesting protagonist and her attitude and idealism are very entertaining, especially in the context of the harshness of the world you have built around her.

    (Review at the end of Ch1) I found the flood of new names (animals, towns, religions) a bit difficult to keep up with at the start of the chapter. Might just have been me needing more coffee in my system but just wanted to tell you. I am intrigued by the magic system you have introduced. Look forward to seeing where the clash with these animals is going next !
