I love the glistening gleam,

the slipping choir team,

you say the ice is black?

I laugh at people on their back!

The Christmas songs make me feel

sore, they’re more of a squeal;

this isn’t the X-Factor,

no money for a bad actor.

The trees and decoration,

my dog’s fascination,

she steals all the baubles,

my family chases and squabbles.
