I am a 20 year old amateur writer. My love for reading began in the 2nd grade and has since then developed strongly. I started with writing fan fiction a couple of years back, and it felt great to see that people enjoyed my work as much as I enjoyed writing for them. After I enlisted in the military, my writing style changed greatly and therefore, I wiped my slate clean and began anew as John Thatcher. Now you can find my stories here and on FictionPress under the same name. I hope you enjoy my works as much as I enjoy writing them.
Current Works in Progress:
- The Light at the End of the Tunnel
Future Works:
- Project Eversong (novel)
- Project Cardinal (fanfiction)

I agree the "time slowed and I could see everything" thing is rather bad. It was one of the first things I thought about when I got to that part when I was writing. It is definitely true what you said about a hero's power and their weaknesses.

I was completely immersed in this chapter. The description of Hank almost getting hit by that car was a heart-pounding read! The description of his feelings after losing his wife were realistic and completely convincing. Well done!
