Ok, so I realize I just posted four chapters very quickly, but I already had them written. In chapter four there's a section where some thoughts are written, but not italicized. *hides face in shame* It's because I have no idea how to do it on this website. I'm copying and pasting, so italics don't transfer over. When I click the italics button it jumps back up to the top and won't let me scroll down. Sorry for the really long explanation, I just didn't want anyone to think that I didn't know thoughts were in italics.

Anyways, thanks for visiting my profile!  I hope you like my story, and if you do feel free to leave a comment letting me know what you think. Chapter five will be posted soon.

:)

More commonly known as the girlwithrainboweyes, but of course, my real name is Melissa.  :)  I am a writer and a musician, due to my high levels of curiosity towards the world.  :)  I also have multiple sites that you can follow me on.

Tumblr - http://girlwithrainboweyes.tumblr.com/

Fictionpress - https://www.fictionpress.com/~girlwithrainboweyes

Wattpad - http://www.wattpad.com/user/girlwithrainboweyes

Twitter (I'm getting better at actually using it, I swear) - https://twitter.com/rainboweyesgirl

Facebook (I'll get around to actually using this more, eventually too) - https://www.facebook.com/girlwithrainboweyes

Imgur - http://girlwithrainboweyes.imgur.com/all/ (mostly used just for pics to upload as backgrounds for sites)

Annnnnd, I'll probably get around to getting an intagram account and etc., however, at the moment, my life is just way too boring that I don't think anyone would really care to look at them.  XD  Maybe someday soon people will actually care, though.  :)

I am an aspiring writer who has profiles on various websites including deviantArt, fictionpress, fanfiction.net, and ReadWave.  I began writing when I was 16, and my love of video games compelled my interest in being a novelist.

I write mostly fantasy stories based in various genres, basically whatever tickles my fancy.  I major in vampire stories.

I'm an Iowa man, and love my home.  I was recommended to this site from fictionpress, but the start of my life on here is a bit slow.

A dreamer; quite the hopeless romantic. Has a fascination for freedom. Currently struggling with the claws of college.

In regards to stories and updates, they may be uncharacteristically short and/or slow to arrive (my muse is horrible to me - she dangles an idea for a story that I know I must write, but she never sees through it. Result: unfinished stories that stresses the hell outta me). And so, I offer my apologies in advance.

I'm a writer who writes obscure stories that may never see the light of day.

... But, even so, these incapable hands continue writing.

These stories, these children of mine...

I have the obligation to see them through to the end - One and all of them.

*** ***

I weep. Not for myself, not for others, but for the characters in my stories.

No matter how much I pray or yearn, they are but fiction, never to breathe life, never to truly hold their beloved in an embrace.

... As the author reflects the works' nature, so too do the works reflect the author's nature.

One can only wonder what the stories were trying to say.
