Emerald,
You glow so brightly amongst
The rainbow of others—
Beautiful and happy...

Beautiful Emerald
You have a speckle in your
Center that threatens of
Cold sorrow and distance...

Gentle Emerald
You have become stained
With a core of sapphire—
A core of frozen tears.

Saddened Emerald
Your color green fades
Engulfed in the dark ice
Of so much... Oh so much...

Lonely Emerald
Weakened and collapsing
You no longer are what
You once were...

Dying Emerald
You have surrendered to
Blue. Wake up, Emerald...
Open your eyes and see again...

Dear Emerald... Wake up again...
You have a flicker of pink
Fire burning within your
Center. And it grows...

Dear Emerald... Open your eyes...
The pink flame melts your
Frozen tears... Let them depart
And feel warmth once again...

Pink flame,
You have stirred this sapphired Emerald
Into life once again. The shadows cast
Were sent away by your glow...

Pink flame,
You melted the ice of deep pain
And allowed the blue Emerald to
Feel the warmth of love again...

Dear Emerald... Wake up again...
You are whole again. Your shine
Restored and your crystal heart
Tinted in protective pink fire.

Wake up, Emerald...
Open your eyes and see again...
