I sleepwalked my way through falling for him,

Not gentle, nor smoothly, but passionate as sin.

Sudden and fierce, burning like a flame,

The perfect insanity to keep me sane.

I found myself stuck in a cage with no key,

Behind the bars, there he was, gazing at me.

His eyes charcoal black, his lips arched and swollen,

And that’s when I woke up and realized I had fallen

For him, for his light, for him wanting me to stay,

For the way he made me feel like I was his rain on a summer day.
