Album

Seems so out of place
To be bitter, feel so angry
Over nothing at all.
But everything boils over.
Red becomes the vision
Within spheres in the face
Of a split second soul...

Watching the writhing thrashes
Of a happy spirit demise
Kill it down!
One sharp spin and
The blood taste dwells—
The back of the throat...
The depth in the eyes
Speak silence's spoken rage...

Reddened swirls of vision
Wrap around this twisted mind
Distort the imagery
And pierce a crumbling shield.
It's a split second transformation
And now violence is the desire
Within a heart gone
Gold...
To...
Black...

It's a split second soul!
There is no sanity
For the soul that has two
Sides
Splitting apart
Shreds through the disguise
Of a mask of happiness.
Oh no,
Not this,
Not this split second
Soul...

And from the distance
The worried eyes can only watch
The flames consume
The body licked clean of anything
Until the ash bones collapse
Upon the ground
And smolder.

And it all is
In
One
Split
Second
Soul...
