This is the part where I fall to my knees and beg people for reviews...
Well hello there! Are you having a good day? Have you had a good day at school/work/life? I sincerely hope you did! The clue is in the title, really. I'm looking for reviews, and of course I would be happy to review your work in exchange. All's fair, and all that. There are three works of mine that I'm focusing on at the moment, because I fully plan on publishing at least one of them by this time next year, and I will need to have everything wired pretty tight if I plan to reach that privileged, money-making position. They are all different genres, so I'll talk you through them, as well as some things you can expect as you read. "In Love With Air" is an LGBT novel dealing with two teenage boys within New York City. One of them is a student enrolled in Hunter College High School, and is experiencing all the jibes and trivia a normal high-schooler experiences including relationships and avoiding the full wrath of underpaid and overstressed teachers. The other is a ghost. (Nope, you actually read that right!) Basically, people aren't usually able to see ghosts, but this boy can, and even though there IS a reason for that (explained in the novel) it documents their relationship over a four-month period, and all the challenges they face along the way, both normal and paranormal. "Joy and Despair" is a work of mine which I have doubts over due to lackluster views. It's set in the year 2200, with the planet Earth rendered uninhabitable by 2050 due to the Third World War, which resulted in each nationality branching off into their own individual colonies on planets throughout the outer solor system and galaxy. The story deals with an 18-year old, Suzia Takanama, and his dream of becoming a United Corp Marine, moving from colony to colony intercepting 'pirates' selling on the black market, keeping peace between colonies, and attending ceremonial duties. But there is something secret lurking in the works, something that the UC have tried in vain to keep it that way. (Only five chapters in, so still at the 'beginning' of the story, but give me one of those lovely reviews of yours to see if you're interested/if I'm on the right track. Last, but by now means least, is 'Never', a zombie novel set in Canada. It picks up on the journey of a group of four as they attempt to retrieve weapons and supplies inside Napanee, only to be ambushed by hordes of the undead. The story shifts POV towards another member of the group, and the situations he finds himself in as they travel towards a safe haven in the Canadian capitol of Ottawa. (It's not going to be a typical 'survive the zombie apocalypse, either. I have something special planned for the mid-way point of the story.) All three novels (In Love With Air is completed) are unedited, and though I have rid myself of 99% of typos and grammar mistakes, they may still be lurking around, ready to strike! Also, with 'Air' I feel like I will edit some chapters and make the plot more coherent, but your criticism and reviews would help me immensely! So don't be a stranger, review my work and I will return the favor, or your money back! (figure of speech, I'm afraid.) Thank you.
