Pasting work
Using the paste process results in indent-less and un-centered text. I work in Open Office, and prefer to paste whole stories. Can the formatting from OO translate to a post here? Will Word work?

Normal paragraphs: Earthbound gods, while of limited transcendent power, are the only gods able to act directly on the physical plane. They are the only gods mortals meet face to face. They are able to preform the usual miracles: levitation, teleportation, transformation of matter, healing, blessings, and so on; but most humans now generally remain ignorant of their earthly presence. Earthbound gods are given to interrupted lives, with decade — or millennium — long absences. Their returns can be either dramatic, with lightning splitting the rock or aged tree enclosing the divine corpse or the site of the tomb resurfacing during a volcanic eruption or other unlikely display, or simple reincarnation. Most opt for simple reincarnation. In any case, they depart and return on their own whims. -- I use Open Office, and indent using the margin ruler. I do not use the tab key.

I use Word and set my margins using the paragraph settings and it usually pastes decently. Maybe try that?

Which version of Word?

Because I've tried mine and it doesn't give any improvement.

Here: http://www.sparkatale.com/books/view/608 is an example of a pasted Word document. As you can see, the indent from the original is not translated. Further, the increase indent function on the Sparkatale toolbar merely slides the entire paragraph to the right. What can I do to achieve indents?
