Chapter: 1 Reply
I like the premise of the chapter, and fair play for writing a spiritual novel. It's not at all common on this site so it was intriguing enough for me to take a look myself.
The first thing I want to note is that while the conversation is spaced nicely and you can tell how the character feels as they're talking, there's not a whole lot of the world they're in. Sonething which would flesh out this chapter would be using the sense's Peter has; if they're walking on a beach (similar to the 'Footprints' message in the bible) then does he smell the salt in the sea air? Is he barefoot, can he feel the sand between his toes? Is it hot or cold, and does Jesus and Peter react to that? Does the weather change? Little things like that, but which would immerse the reader and get your message across just that little bit easier.
I got all of this feedback too, and I would love to see you improve and make this story as polished as possible.
