Hi, how are ya? I know it's rather unconventional, but please hear me out. I kinda really went all out on the spelling of my character's names for this one, so I figured I'd better give y'all a guide to my characters this go-round.
Yfryte (Pronounced EE-frit)
Rosso (you should get this one. Ross-so)
Juul (Yes, you heard me. JOOL)
Nyumi (Nee-yu-me)
Sharllyte (Shar-lit, you know, like Charlotte?)
Selene (Most of us have heard this one by now. SA-leen)
Lyllyya (According to an English professor, yes this is a spelling of Lilly-YA)
I'm sorry if I've overdone it, but truth be told, I'll fix it if even I get too bothered about it.
Welp, let's grind those gears and unleash the steam-powered flying machine, it's time to dive into the world that is steampunk.
2: YfryteWhen the long day finally came to an end, the steam whistle shouted its signal for the morning shift workers to finish their tasks and head home for the day. As all the few thousand people began to leave the steam station, one person, in particular, a young woman with sore arms and a faded yellow uniform walked with the masses. She sighed and left with everyone else. As all the burly men left for the taverns and pubs, she would rather just catch the tram to her own home. With everything being steam-powered these days, copper piping was everywhere, and as a result, it took nearly half of the world's population, even in distant lands, to keep the world's gears turning. She boarded the pneumatic tram, watching people greet one another in the market place as the tram took off in the direction of the tenant area. She watched the buildings and structures go by as the tram continued on. She kept to herself as others on the tram cars were chatting.
