The Jeice of Spades is in reality Lamont Cranston, wealthy young man about town.
...You're not buying that for a second, are you?
Ok, so to be perfectly honest, the author used to hate writing. He could never seem to do anything that sounded natural or good, so he just stopped, and let himself fantasize all the weird stories he'd have running through his head. Eventually he got out of high school and went to college and in his first writing class, read some stuff he was writing out loud. After receiving a bit of praise , he assumed it was just people being nice. It wasn't until he started noticing that they were giving him less criticism than most others that he started to believe them. He wrote a quick draft of a story and people started suggesting he write more. So he started a short story blog for him to get these many running narratives out there into the world.
He started off by writing a warm up story called "Seeking Dusk." After a few entries of that, He started work on his personal favorite project, "The 19th Century Paranormal Investigator." Since then, he's accumulated 3 more ongoing stories, in addition to the start of a few novels. He'll throw a big party the day he actually finishes something.
Literary influences and favorite writings vary from old classics, like The Count of Monte Cristo and Treasure Island, to newer scribes and works, like Joss Whedon's "Firefly" and comic books by Grant Morrison.
The author's goal is not to become rich, or even famous. All he wants is to get some stories out of his head, and if we're all lucky, maybe entertain you for a bit. So please, enjoy the author's writings and maybe leave a comment or two of appreciation.
