I'm Stacey, reading and writing have basically become my life.
Anyways, most of my writing is mainly a bunch of unconnected chapters of 3 or 4 stories I've made up since I was 14 that are currently gathering dust in the hard drive of my computer. There are a couple of shorts that occasionally get written when I am in the mood, but I rarely show those to anyone as they are mainly a way of expressing certain feelings.
I'm currently working on a three part book series. The first novel is called, Swallowed In the Sea and I'm currently about half-way through with it. It's the farthest I've ever gotten on a multi-chapter work, and I have to say I'm excited.
Anyways, let me know if you have any questions. I don't mind. (I love random stuff)

Thanks so much for the review!
I actually have this posted on a few other sites, so that might be the reason for the lack of attention here?
Anyways, to address your comments... I totally agree with her 'name' thing. It was difficult to come up with a way for her to gain a name. At the time it was simply her deciding it was far better than anything else and it 'felt' right, besides she had more things to worry about than what a crazy pirate was calling her. All I can say is I currently have plans to address that later as well as a few other things she's been 'brushing off'.
I do know my story comes across cliched, and I really don't know what to say to that. I've never really cared either way about cliches and troupes, so I tend to not notice them when they are used. (I guess that's something I need to work on.) My only defense is that there is nothing new under the sun and I have far too much fun writing this to really care about my use of cliches. I also am not sure they will stay that way? I can't really say anything without giving away spoilers so I guess we'll have to wait till the end, right?
Anways, thanks again! I really appreciate comments, they are like my muse or something. It really is motivating when someone tells you what a great job you're doing. I'm glad you enjoyed it and hope you will continue reading.
