Hey there anyone who is taking the time to read this!

I'm Portia Jane, (PJ, for short), twenty-one year old wannabe author. Sadly, the 'wannabe' part is still very much the case, but this place, and you guys, give me the warm, fluffy feeling I need to power through the rejection!

Ummm... let's see. Interesting facts.

I'm British (Scottish) and I'm from Glasgow.

I'm currently doing an MA in Politics.

I've lived in Australia. With all the tiny little insects that can kill you with one bite. And I survived. Yay, me. (Although I do have horrible, terrible nightmares about spiders as big as my head. They exist. True story.)

My dog Ozzy is actually taller than I am. (I'm five-two, and he's the size of a small pony).

I'm probably the clumsiest person to have ever walked the Earth - total broken bone count in the last year - 6. One hand, three toes, two ribs, and my nose - for the second time. It's not even alcohol related. :(

Anyway, that's probably about it!
