There are many reasons why I like this story, amongst the hypothetical list; I will name a few of them: The progression of the relationship between Hiro and Lisanna is perfectly matched, and both of them are attractively designed characters - in a way where you can relate with them. But it’s not just the two of them. Every character you introduce has a lot of depth to them; I can see you put a lot of effort into every single character. The reason why I love this story is because I have a soft spot for plot revolving around training and coming into ones abilities and fighting style (it is something that plays a strong factor in my story as well) and I absolutely love one on one battle scenes. I feel like you captured the scenes perfectly with your play of words to create vivid imaginary in the mind – the battle between Lisanna and Phoenix was very good, and left me utterly satisfied, but then I read the battle between the hooded figure and Samakina, and then you surpassed all the expectations I had formed before then. I was left in awe. Your powers and abilities created for this story is distinctive, and leaves each character to be unique in their own way – as a person who strives to be unique in creating abilities and exceptional battle scenes, you left me with a greater inspiration after reading your 12 chapters. I can’t wait to read the following to come, and I look forward to see what Hiro will awaken into, and also the explanation behind his healing abilities. This will be a guess, but might his power be water element based? If that is the case, you have gained your biggest fan. There are a lot more positive things I could add to this review, and I really do want to. But I will leave you to process these few for now and review you again after a few more chapters. On the other side of greatness, falls the shadow of flaws. Even though I highly respect your writing style, to the point where I am jealous of your ability, I found it difficult to discern between the transitions between scenes. You only figure out that you’re reading a different scene after you get confused to what happened to the one you were reading. That is my biggest critique, the only one worth mentioning unless I can nitpick with some grammar and spelling mistakes, and abrupt transition between 1st and 3rd person narrative. Even though you strive to be original, I can match exactly where you drew you inspirations from, almost to the point where I can read a scene and tell you from which anime you drew it from. But I think that might just be me, since I’ve watched a ton of anime in my life. I’m not calling you unoriginal or anything, don’t get me wrong. This is your own personal work – with some visible lines. On my closing note, I would like to say: Apart from some narrative flaws, you are one of the best narrators I have read on the internet. Your story telling abilities are amazing.

What an amazing story! I found this by foolishly searching 'wolf' when I felt like reading something, and I would never have guessed the story I randomly chose was from a South African author just like myself! (ek neem an jy is suid-afrikaans sedert jy afrikaans geskryf het in die storie) And it's amazing to see a fantasy-setting story set in South Africa, you don't get many of those. Heck, I've never even written anything set in this country, so this is truly awe-inspiring.

I'm going to reread this soon, since I feel like I've missed a lot of the details when I figured out what the setting was.

I hope you will continue this story!

    Kind regards,

I was planning on binge reading all the chapters that are available right now, and then write a review in the end if I enjoyed it. But after only 5 chapters I was in a state of readers euphoria - Up until now I have enjoyed your writing thoroughly. And the character progression is built with a very good pace. The interaction between Hiro and Lisanna in chapter 5 were absolutely amusing and I loved it - it had a very Naruto/Sakuro feel to it. I look forward to seeing what their awakened powers will be. Good job, and expect many more comments.
