No, not really, however, she knew someone who did
If he were with her,
She'd give him her sweet potatoes
Content to see him happy
So, if he visited during this holiday,
She'd give him her sweet potatoes
At some point, he'll visit her
And, perhaps, they'll have sweet potatoes
Happy, reassuring feelings he gave her
Calling to mind of the joy she feels
When morning glories bloom
She didn't eat sweet potatoes
But he certainly does
