When I was a child I was never fooled by stupidity
And now as an adult I find it’s catching up to me
I have always known the truth behind the lies
That foolish adults tried to disguise

They could never catch me
My eyes have seen what they’ve seen
Don’t go around trusting…anything
Unless you want to pretend it’s all a dream

Gotta find a trace…gotta be someplace!
Gotta learn the truth about what drives you
Fragile and misleading like a mirror glass
Reflect the truth in you who once was dull and crass
The future’s in the past…you’ll find it at last

If you ever chose to go out on your own
Do not be fooled by the paths this would has worn
Do not think that routine must be the way
Find out for yourself or else be led astray!

I am always out of reach
I won’t let distance stop my speech
Don’t just read the book but make your own edition
My dear, it’s time for new traditions!

Gotta find a trace…gotta be someplace!
Gotta learn the truth about what drives you
Fragile and misleading like a mirror glass
Reflect the truth in you who once was dull and crass
The future’s in the past…you’ll find it at last

To block it out, just keep humming
You’ll find that you still keep running
To escape, and never find a destination
Because you’re blind just like this nation…

Everyone around is so quickly bought
Who are they? They just forgot
In all these years you fail to remember
Dear, it’s not the letter but the sender…

I wanna make these words…words that make you think
Words make you remember who you were meant to be
Take another look as you run through memories
Look at your reflection and tell me what you see…

Gotta find a trace…it’s hidden in your eyes
Stop to hear the heartbeat echo through your soul
Remember that you have a heart of gold
Remember you’re something that cannot be sold
The truth is in that—what is your price?
