Why is love so hard to find?
Why is it our hearts unwind?
Why is it they're misaligned?
Why must love be so blind?
It is true,
They're black and blue,
No matter who,
Love falls through.
Love is gray,
No matter what we say,
It goes away,
And runs astray.
It grows like weeds,
We'll find the key,
To set the ship free,
Amongst the sea.
To let it show,
We must glow,
Let it bestow,
Not lie low.
It will die,
And we will cry,
We'll ask ourselves,
Why is love so blind?
