Love is a complicated thing.
And perhaps I've been looking,
In all the wrong places, 
Searching in all the dark coners,
Leaving no stone unturned,
And falling for the most interesting people.
But perhaps too,
I've been looking in the wrong people
Searching the hearts of those who would leave,
Betray and destroy me and my soul.
To be honest, 
I believe it is the lot of both of them.
The combined anger and hatred
Of searching in the wrong places,
For the wrong reasons,
And the wrong people.
And that is the cause of eternal pain.
