Pure Innocence I feign to the secrets I hide

To keep all from seeing the demons inside.

Darkness, it bubbles, and taints my heart

Creeping until it infects almost every little part.

It scratches and fights to keep tight it's hold

And it makes me tired since this battle is so old.

Even so, don't you worry a single bit child

For I try my best to keep the darkness from running wild.

But don't attempt to wrap you mind around this, don't even try,

For all I've said is an absurd little fairy tale, just a silly little lie.
