Introducing my dystopian thriller story, Criminal Fiction! The story exists in a universe where it is illegal to read and write fiction, because reading induces the reader with a drug-like sensation that pulls the conscience away from the body. Meanwhile, there is also the social controversy of a random genetic ability that allows individuals to materialise fictitious writing--known simply as whispering. Note the operative word here is fiction. The book deals heavily with the social warfare between the government's fiction unit the FRU and the writers, whisperers and librarians. The themes are for a slightly more mature audience, with some harsh language, suggestive and controversial themes. The first few chapters of CrimFic are also available on FictionPress and WattPad as Criminal Fiction. The story will update weekly, approximately.
