I need encouragement
I am really sad right now because I think that my BFF has killed herself. Please feel free to talk to me, I could use some more friends.

Hey, I love your stories 😃 What's your favorite genre?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 10, 2014
Thank you! my favorite genre is actually fanfiction. I have a lot of stories posted on Fanfiction.net if you are interested. I could tell you my username.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 11, 2014
Wait wait let me guess. Is it...Timber Gold Wolf?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 11, 2014
It used to be, but now it is Golden Cloud Angel. :)
ReplyViolet Batt | January 11, 2014
Wow, that's a lot of stories 0_0 Which should I read first? =)
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 11, 2014
I really love to write! Did you see the length of some of them?! XD
ReplyViolet Batt | January 11, 2014
Yes. Yes I did. *awkward silence* So, would you mind telling me a little about Zelda? I haven't played it in a long time. Like, really long.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 11, 2014
Well basically there is 17 games in the series. In most of the games a hero dressed in green named Link saves a princess named Zelda. There are many bad guys too. Gannon, Demise, Vaati, and Ghirahim are some of the main villains. Each game has a different story line to it...at least the newer ones do. You have to fight monsters and travel to different dungeons. I can't really explain everything though.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 11, 2014
Okay I'll look on a wiki or something =)
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 11, 2014
Alright! :)
ReplyViolet Batt | January 12, 2014
I like how I don't have to know that much about Zelda to understand your stories.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 12, 2014
Thanks! :)
ReplyViolet Batt | January 12, 2014
What is it like to have coauthors?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 12, 2014
It has it's pros and cons... Pro: I can make a story with things that not just I like. Con: Characters are drastically changed. Pro: It's a good way to make sure your grammar and spelling is correct. Con: It can be very slow.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 12, 2014
How do you split up the work?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 12, 2014
I kind of have an unfair process where I write it and give it to the first person, once the first person is done with it I pass it on to the next person. That's pretty much how I run it.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 12, 2014
How many people is that? =) And wouldn't you be the first person?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 12, 2014
There is five people all together(counting me) and I am their Alpha wolf.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 12, 2014
Do you write together for all your stories?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 12, 2014
No, not all of the stories. Some I only work on with one other person and others I work on by myself so that no one will make changes I don't like. I only started the four coauthors thing at the beginning of this year. And originally, Four Fairies there was supposed to be two girls and two boys.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 12, 2014
That's interesting. I've never thought about it before.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 12, 2014
It was easy for me to get coauthors, I just asked some of my best online friends and they agreed.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 13, 2014
Do you like listening to music when you write?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 13, 2014
Yeah, just sound tracks from the legend of Zelda.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 13, 2014
nice ✌
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 13, 2014
:)
ReplyViolet Batt | January 13, 2014
>=D
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 13, 2014
Are you plotting something evil?
ReplyViolet Batt | January 13, 2014
Your face is plotting evil.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 13, 2014
Mine is just a smiley face! :)
ReplyViolet Batt | January 13, 2014

ReplyViolet Batt | January 15, 2014
Sorry about all the late responses, I think we have different time zones. What time does your clock say? =)
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 15, 2014
I'm so sorry! I had a lot of homework to do last night! The time I am sending this message is 7:09 AM.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 16, 2014
That's ok, I had a lot of homework too. What a coincidence! (just kidding) I'm three hours behind you.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 16, 2014
I have friends in many places! California, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Australia, Great Britain, and Maryland!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 16, 2014
Do you move a lot?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 16, 2014
Yeah, I have moved a few times.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 16, 2014
Cool. That must be an interesting experience.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 16, 2014
But since I have lots of pets, moving is hard.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 16, 2014
A lot of pets?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 16, 2014
Yeah, got a ton of cats!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 16, 2014
Like, 2,ooo pounds of cats? 0_0
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 16, 2014
Not really, I do have a 25 pound cat though.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 16, 2014
How is it that a wolf has pet cats???
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 16, 2014
They are used to me! XD
ReplyViolet Batt | January 16, 2014
Oh well that's always good. ðŸº+😺😺😺😺😺😺=😃
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 16, 2014
XD And one more cat too! I have seven.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 16, 2014
+😺
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 16, 2014
And I also have a 55 gallon aquarium of multiple tropical fish, 2 African frogs, and 2 goldfish.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 16, 2014
Quite a zookeeper, aren't you? =D
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 16, 2014
Yeah! I also have 4 Guinea pigs.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 16, 2014
And a unicorn? =D
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 16, 2014
Nah, we have no room for unicorns.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 17, 2014
Ok ðŸŽ
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 17, 2014
Do you like cats?
ReplyViolet Batt | January 17, 2014
Yeah I have a tuxedo.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 17, 2014
Have you ever read the Warriors serise?
ReplyViolet Batt | January 17, 2014
The first few books yeah =)
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 17, 2014
I'm reading book 3 right now! :D
ReplyViolet Batt | January 17, 2014
Cool. Which do you like more, Warriors or Zelda?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 17, 2014
I'd have to say Zelda.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 18, 2014
Is Zelda a T.V. show too or just a videogame?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 18, 2014
They had a T.V show, if you search YouTube. No one liked it so they stopped making new episodes!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 18, 2014
Ok!
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 18, 2014
I liked the episode called "The Missing Link"
ReplyViolet Batt | January 18, 2014
Ha ha YouTube wouldn't let me watch the episode but it sounds really funny.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 18, 2014
I'll summarize for you. Basically Link can talk and Zelda's pants are way too tight. There is only two triforces. Link likes to say, "Well escuuuuuuuse me, princess!" Zelda is secretly in love with him even though Link sucks. That is how I see it!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 18, 2014
Ok...wish I saw it! XD
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 18, 2014
I wish you saw it too! Like, you could see the whole outline of her butt through those pants!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 18, 2014
😷👈
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 18, 2014
XD
ReplyViolet Batt | January 18, 2014
Do you see my profile picture? =D
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 18, 2014
Looks like snow with a greenish blue tint.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 18, 2014
Look closer...👀
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 18, 2014
Oh! It's a shark underwater!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 18, 2014
The one on the right is me! =D
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 18, 2014
Very nice!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 21, 2014
Thank you! =p
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 21, 2014
You're welcome! ^^
ReplyViolet Batt | January 22, 2014
Did you send that from school?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 22, 2014
Nah, I've had a snow day.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 22, 2014
Ha ha, no snow where I live! ;}
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 22, 2014
I'm sorry I keep making this really awkward...so what have you been writing lately?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 22, 2014
I haven't written much, but I am working on about 30 stories at one time.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 23, 2014
XD Is that for both websites?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 23, 2014
It's a bit too hard to post on here. So, all 30 or something stories that I am working on are on Fanfiction.net.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 23, 2014
Ok I'll have to check them out.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 23, 2014
You don't have to check them out.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 23, 2014
It's too late for that. Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Lol Zelda frolicking.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 23, 2014
Yeah! When she doesn't look like she has a sword shoved up her butt she is frolicking! XD
ReplyViolet Batt | January 24, 2014
You're brilliant! =D
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 24, 2014
Thanks!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
Besides fanfiction, what would you say is your favorite thing to write/read about?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
I really love reading Warriors, and I plan on writing a book based on it.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
Cool! =)
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
I haven't decided on the title yet. It could be any of the following, Cats Uprising Rise of the Wild side Great Catastrophe
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
What is it going to be about?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
Basically the same thing I used to play with my stuffed cats since I was 6. Purrs the younger tiger brother becomes king of all the cats and his brother Growler starts a fight with him. Then, all of the cats split into different groups depending on their opinion. Yeah, kinda like The Lion King too if you think about it.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
It is indeed kinda like The Lion King too if I think about it. I like it when authors take someone else's concept and has their own twist on it. I guess that's what fanfiction is all about. Does it take place after book three?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
I have no idea, I just know that it's about rival tiger brothers.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
Are you going to include the four clans?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
Maybe, I do have more stuffed cats than I did when I first created the story.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
Are you saying that you act out your stories to more easily visualize them? That's cool.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
Thanks! My most famous plush cat was a pink one named Sugar Cat.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
Thanks, now a bunch of stuffed animal adds are popping up! =) Does Sugar Cat taste like candy? =D
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
I haven't actually tasted her! XD
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
Is that so? You've never licked her? Cats like being licked. It's a social thing. Go ahead...lick her.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
No! That would be disgusting! I just checked and I have 22 stuffed cats!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
You have a point.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
I have hundreds of stuffed animals!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
What else do you have?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
Um, lots of books, lots of various comics, various art supplies, a few movies, rough drafts of old stories, year old balloons, tons of unwanted candy, stuff like that.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
Sorry! I was talking about stuffed animals! ...Do you want to play a writing game?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
Sure, how?
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
Um...flash fiction, from the writing prompt section? You have to write a story in less than 50 words based on a word, then give a different word. The next person has to write their own story based on and including that word, then it keeps going and going. Or we could play that game where one makes up a sentence, then the other writes another sentence based off of that sentence, and we follow up. Or if you have another idea, we could do that.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
Either one. ^^
ReplyViolet Batt | January 25, 2014
eenie meenie minie mo...I randomly chose flash fiction do you want to start or shall I?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 25, 2014
If you don't want to play that's fine I'm just wondering.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 27, 2014
I still wish to play, but I have been busy.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 27, 2014
Ok :)
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 27, 2014
You could start.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 27, 2014
Ok. Ahem. I don't have a word, so I'll start off with a quote from my story. / When nobody was looking, I grabbed an apple and ran away. It was probably a sneaky/bad/illegal thing to do, but hitting poor defenseless kids with bread wasn't so nice either last time I checked. / Your word is FEELING
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 27, 2014
It was that time of day, twilight. A deep and very emotional time for most. It was a time of sorrow, the sky's face is red from the tears, the thought of another day lost. The sun lowered down behind the trees leaving a sudden moment of stillness. The twilight... (Couldn't finish my story! XD) Your word is devious.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 27, 2014
That was beautiful =,) / Tiburon told him that he was safe. He said that sharks don't eat fish. "Fish are friends, not food," he assured. RIP David the goldfish. / Your word is eye.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 27, 2014
It was the third day of the hurricane. The rain had flooded the streets leaving everyone trapped inside. Then, so unexpectedly, the rain stopped and every thing was eerily silent. Everyone thought it was safe, but this was just the eye of the storm! Hours later the storm roared... (Unfinished again! XD) Your word is defiant.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 27, 2014
The tyrant glared at his subjects. "Is there anyone who wishes to defy me?" he asked. Nobody met his gaze, except for one. "I do!" the one declared. He defied the tyrant, who disposed of him. The lesson - don't be so defiant when you defy someone. / Your word is gold. / Do you want to increase the word limit or keep as is?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 27, 2014
The limit is fine... My BFF was very depressed that night. I had no idea why she was so sad, I mean, I was still there for her. When I thought she was gone forever, I realized she was worth more to me than gold. I truly meant it... (I finally finished a story!) XD Your word is love.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 27, 2014
0_0, What is the meaning of life? To love and be loved. That is all we need. / Sorry that was pretty clichéd. Your word is darkness.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 27, 2014
*I'm not gay...* Everyone has a dark side, some darker than others. They could be defiant, rebellious, and a bit devious too. I know for a fact that my dark side wants to get me in trouble. But, darkness doesn't always mean evil, right? (Second story complete! XD) Your word is joy.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 27, 2014
You're a boy? / What brings you joy? Is it boys? Toys? Buoys? Soy? Or is it joy itself, the mere sight of seeing others happy, that warms your heart? / Your world is window.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 27, 2014
Forgot the boy comment sorry. I didn't say that.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 27, 2014
My little brother added that before I sent it.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 27, 2014
Oh! XD The room was filled with a sudden breeze from over by the window. Suddenly, a strange creature flew in. Everyone in the room stopped what they were doing and starred. "Um, hi?" It said before being hot with a broom back out the window. Poor thing! Your word is freedom.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 27, 2014
You're so good at this! / The cat looked out his window, so intent on the world he saw, face pressed against the glass, whiskers brushing against it just to make sure it was there. He wondered. Wondered whether all those things were real. Wondered whether he would ever find out. If he would ever be free. / AAGGGHHHH!!! Too many letters but I don't care. Your word is rage.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 27, 2014
Timber had provoked Lillian until she couldn't stand it anymore. Lillian went crazy and injured Timber. She was so angry she actually devoured Timber like a cannable! Still enraged, Lillian went in search of another victim. Afterwards, she died a most painful death. Your word is courage.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 28, 2014
Oh my!...There's a bit of confusion here. You seem to think that I'm a girl, and I went along with it because this is a really awkward moment. Either way you probably think I'm gay, which I'm not. Just stupid. If you want me to go away that's fine.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 28, 2014
What?! I never thought you were a girl!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 28, 2014
So...?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 28, 2014
Forget it...I might have misread your last message...
ReplyViolet Batt | January 28, 2014
Sorry...I suck at talking to people...=)
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 28, 2014
What I'm asking is whether you still want to continue this thread even though I'm a boy.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 28, 2014
And my point is, I knew you were a male the whole time, so why would I suddenly change my mind?! I really just like talking to people. Of course we shall continue the thread!
ReplyViolet Batt | January 28, 2014
That was my story on courage. Your word is flash. Sorry, I thought I commented. =)
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 29, 2014
Oh, now I'm just embarrassed! 😳 -The clouds began to billow up in the sky, blocking out all traces of light. The rain rushed down and soaked the dry earth. Suddenly, a bright light cut through the darkness quickly followed by a boom. The light faded and appeared again. The storm had arrived.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 30, 2014
Do you think I can comment without a smiley f- =) wait never mind. What's my word?
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 30, 2014
Oh yeah! Your word is lemonade...please keep it appropriate.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 30, 2014
The lemon screamed as a boy cut it in half and drank its juices. Your word is devour.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 30, 2014
The wolf sprang quickly out of the bushes and chased it's prey through the trees. The wolf was quick and grabbed the smaller animal by it's neck and killed it. The wolf then ate it ravenously. Your word is rambunctious.
ReplyViolet Batt | January 31, 2014
Dust filled the air as Rory the Ram wreaked havoc around the farm. It was like a sheep in a china shop, he caused so much trouble. Finally a farmer sheared him and he fell asleep. The end. Your word is roots.
ReplyDavid Boyce | January 31, 2014
(I deleted Cats Uprising from FF because my sister found out about it and was teasing me, I will not ever write anything like it again.) As the bean plant got older, it's leaves turned yellow and died. When all it's leaves were gone, I removed it by it's roots. Your word is toilet paper.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 1, 2014
(Aw, that seemed really interesting!) Violet's sister 😈 laughed and laughed 😄, until Violet 🺠was so mad 😠that she threw 🾠a roll of (used) toilet paper 🙠at her. Your word is -> -> -> point <- <- <-
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 2, 2014
Hi! I'm new here, but hi! Kyoko here.
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
Hello! Nice to meet you!
ReplyViolet Batt | February 2, 2014
Hi =)
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 2, 2014
Now we have another person to talk to, what fun! ^^
ReplyViolet Batt | February 2, 2014
Hehe, yep. :D
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
I was mentioning a while ago that I wrote fanfiction. Do you like reading or writing fanfiction?
ReplyViolet Batt | February 2, 2014
I have written exactly one fanfiction-- I think it's really fun!
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
As for reading fanfiction, I enjoy it, but only certain ones... if you know what I mean. :)
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
I have written exsactly 32 fanfictions...XD
ReplyViolet Batt | February 2, 2014
Woah, I'll have to check them out, then.
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
Do you know fanfiction.net?
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
They aren't on here, they are on Fanfiction.net under the username Golden Cloud Angel. And I know a lot more people on their too.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 2, 2014
...try posting only one comment at a time please...
ReplyViolet Batt | February 2, 2014
haha, sorry
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
My best friends on FF are CelticIrishSwordswoman Puppy Dream Girl SpiritofSilverwater Invader Tec CupcakePride101 Hasenpfeffer DarkOcarina readingaddict24
ReplyViolet Batt | February 2, 2014
That's a lot of people
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
The spacing is a bit bad... They were the ones who helped me learn how to write and how to respect people of different believes.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 2, 2014
What do you like to write fanfictions about?
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
Mostly the Legend of Zelda, but I was writing a few Kid Icarus & Kid Icarus Uprising stories.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 2, 2014
Awesome, the one I wrote was based off a Vocaloid song.
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
OMG, you like totally should meet SpiritofSilverWater! She is like totally obsessed with Vocaloid!
ReplyViolet Batt | February 2, 2014
:D
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 2, 2014
She especially likes translating Japanese songs to English even if there is an English version she can listen to. She shares many lyrics with me.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 3, 2014
That's great! I guess I'll have to look her up, then.
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 3, 2014
You could! ^^
ReplyViolet Batt | February 3, 2014
I'm not super, super Otaku, but I do like Japanese culture and occasionally watch anime.
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 3, 2014
I hate to interrupt your girly chitchat, but do you guys want to trade reviews?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 4, 2014
Is that your cat?! It's cute! What does that mean?
ReplyViolet Batt | February 5, 2014
I would love to! Whatever comments/critique you have for any of my pieces would be greatly appreciated, and I am more than willing to do the same for yours. Do you want an actual review as in rating? Or just feedback?
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 5, 2014
Either way is fine, I don't know. Maybe a review. How would you like yours? Violet, if you look at the critique me section you'll see it's about two people reviewing each other's reviews/comments on books, usually of equal length.
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 5, 2014
Okay! ^^ By the way, on ReadWave-another random writing website that only allows you to post short stories-I was hired to be a staff reviewer! C=
ReplyViolet Batt | February 5, 2014
C= What a coincidence! How many sites do you write on? / I just realized that I said reviewing others reviews/comments I meant reviewing/commenting. Do you want to trade? I only have two long stories, one sequel to the other, but I will post a shorter, more serious one soon. Do either of you like reading or writing fantasy?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 5, 2014
I love reading fantasy! And just comments would be fine for me, as neither of my books are "finished".
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 5, 2014
Wow, actually, the only reason I found this site was because of Fictionpress. One of the admins of Sparkatale sent me a private message informing me about this site. Through Fictionpress, I also heard about Read-wave. I haven't really used that site at all, though.
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 5, 2014
Same here, I was specially picked out and invited!
ReplyViolet Batt | February 5, 2014
Talking berries and a talking wolf are both 100% lovable. Who wouldn't specially pick out and invite you guys?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 6, 2014
Haha, but talking sharks are cooler.
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 6, 2014
yay 👓🬠Pretend that's a shark wearing sunglasses. Violet, do people ever call you violin? Do you want to trade reviews?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 6, 2014
Some people call me Vi, which I despise! My grandmother's nickname was Vi and she died of brain cancer!
ReplyViolet Batt | February 7, 2014
I have had a lot of homework lately and I won't be able to review at the moment, much less, watch the videos one of my BFFs told me to a few weeks ago.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 7, 2014
Is your name copyrighted, or can I use it in one of my stories? =)
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 9, 2014
As far as I know, the name Violet Batt is not copyrighted, you can use it, just don't slap a copyright on it.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 10, 2014
Ok, thanks =) There's a gardener named Rose and she has two daughters names Lily and Violet. Are you busy or do you want me to unsubscribe?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 10, 2014
What do you mean?
ReplyViolet Batt | February 10, 2014
Look behind you and you'll find out...0_o Just kidding. What do you want to talk about then?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 10, 2014
What's your religion?
ReplyViolet Batt | February 10, 2014
...Catholic...why?

Well, I enjoy hearing about different religions. *Shrugs* learning is what I like to do.- So, would you like to tell me about your religion?
ReplyViolet Batt | February 10, 2014
I guess, since you respect people of different beliefs *shrugs* You'll hear about all Catholics being really radical, but it varies depending on your country. In Africa they're very conservative but in Europe (except in countries like Spain and Ireland) they tend to be more liberal or something like that. The difference is issues like power of the Pope, priests being able to be female or married, and different interpretations of the bible. I think another one is having Jesus on the cross. I'm part Irish, I don't know if that makes me more religious but I think I'm somewhere in the middle. Probably more than most teenagers. What's your religion?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 10, 2014
Mine isn't that different actually. I am a Christian, but everyone seems to make up their own definition of being a Christian.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 10, 2014
Yeah, Christian includes Roman Catholic and all the protestant faiths, because they all believe in Christ but believe differently.
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 10, 2014
Cool! I never really knew that!
ReplyViolet Batt | February 10, 2014
I don't blame you.
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 10, 2014
Okay. ^^
ReplyViolet Batt | February 11, 2014
Do you speak a second language?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 11, 2014
At school I am learning Spanish, I think they make all the kids in my grade take it.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 11, 2014
Cuanto sabes?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 11, 2014
I don't know what that means...I'm bad at Spanish!
ReplyViolet Batt | February 11, 2014
Nonsense! Nobody is bad at Spanish! You know about google translate, right? =)
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 11, 2014
Google in general has saved my life many, many times.
ReplyKobayashi Kyoko | February 12, 2014
From experience, Google Translate is not always correct and could catch you a bad grade. That is why I always use the book to find all the right answers. I am one of the only kids in my class who actually works to get their grade!
ReplyViolet Batt | February 12, 2014
Are you calling me lazy? =) ¿Dices que soy perezoso?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 12, 2014
SÃ, ¡yo trabajo mucho! XD
ReplyViolet Batt | February 12, 2014
vale
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 12, 2014
What does that mean?
ReplyViolet Batt | February 12, 2014
"Okay", in Spain. Mostly people say "muy bien" though.
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 12, 2014
According to my text book, muy bein is very well.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 12, 2014
Exactly =) In my school text books are frowned upon, because the index isn't always clear. I'm taking my fourth year of Spanish, and I learned that muy bien means okay.
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 12, 2014
I am probably only taking two years of Spanish because I missed the first year, introductions to Spanish. I hate Spanish movies, it sounds like random babbling!
ReplyViolet Batt | February 13, 2014
I feel for you. If you need any help, feel free to ask me. Just our of curiosity, what other languages does your school offer?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 13, 2014
*I thought I replied a while ago!* French
ReplyViolet Batt | February 21, 2014
Yay French fries!!! 🟠French toast!!! 🗠Same with me but we can also learn Pilipino. So, how's the snow?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 21, 2014
Well, snow from last time is still crusted to the ground. This Wednesday more snow is coming.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 21, 2014
Do you ever have to deal with floods when it melts?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 21, 2014
Luckily, no. The snow melts much too slowly to cause floods.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 21, 2014
That's good. I'm glad it doesn't snow underwater. We don't have to deal with floods either.
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 21, 2014
And we have many tornado watches, but no tornado has ever came to my area.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 21, 2014
Never hurts to be safe! What about fire and earthquakes?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 21, 2014
First day of fifth grade, large earthquake rumbled by and collapsed a few schools, and cracked the monument!
ReplyViolet Batt | February 21, 2014
Oh, my. That must have been devastating!
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 21, 2014
Last time I was there, the monument was not finished being fixed. The time I went was during the Cherry Blossom Festival.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 22, 2014
What's that?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 22, 2014
It's the day the cherry blossom trees in DC bloom. It signafies that spring is starting.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 22, 2014
Like groundhog day?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 22, 2014
I guess.
ReplyViolet Batt | February 22, 2014
Is that a new profile pic? You look like you're slightly to the left. =)
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 22, 2014
XD
ReplyViolet Batt | February 22, 2014
Did you take it yourself?
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 22, 2014
Yeah! I created a selfie without any traces of it being a selfie!
ReplyViolet Batt | February 22, 2014
How do you hold the camera with those paws? *sigh* I wish I could take pictures but cameras don't work underwater.
ReplyDavid Boyce | February 22, 2014
Maybe there is an aquatic camera you can find and use! XD
ReplyViolet Batt | February 22, 2014
Hopefully! XD Until then I have to pretend I'm a cat. It's a shame, because nobody notices me. Look up Tiburon the Shark on YouTube and you'll see how famous I am...;)
