The premise of this thread is simple: You read another's story until your mind begins to wander -- essentially read until you lose interest or the hook begins to fail (if it ever took hold at all). And then leave a comment as to why you stopped. Or perhaps post in this thread the story title and how far you made it along... Did the tale fail to capture your interest? Not your favorite genre? Tea pot whistled you away? Mom said time for bed? The smashing of your head against the keyboard stirred you awake after reading such boring drivel? I will put forth the opening portion of my novel "CLANK" or for those in a rush, the short story entitled "Typo". And as always, remember here... if you don't like a story, you don't like it! This isn't a personal attack! It's simply a matter of opinion and taste.
