4000 years ago,the world in chaos. The war between good and evil, darkness and light, the unholy versus the heavens. The King of Gods himself, Ra, along with his fellow gods, Hathor, Thoth, Nephthys, Osiris, and Taweret, fought valiantly against the Undead Armies of Set, the God of Chaos. However as the fighting went on, the gods were fighting a losing battle and have lost their footing in the mortal plane. With the ever encroaching Army of Set, all hope for mortal plane and the world seemed lost and doomed forever. However Ra had a plan but it had its risk. Together with his fellow gods, He combined the powers of Fire, Earth, Lightning, Water, Wind, and Light, into the Primordial Power, an ancient power that not even Set himself can comprehend. They used this power to push back and defeat the army of Set. It was successful but it came at a cost; expending their powers. They left the world safe and into the mortal hands, for it was their reign to rule. However, even with the gods gone, an ancient evil might still lurk under the mythical lands of Egypt.
4000 years later...
In an apartment building in San Francisco, in a bed, laid a 20 year old, African American college student. His name is Ray, a calm, but fun guy to hang around with. He was born in an upper class family but he chooses to live a simple life, but he still keeps in touch with his family who don't seem to care as long as his son is happy. During his time on campus, he had befriended a hawk and named him Hookshot after one his favorite characters from his favorite book. Ray found Hookshot on the ground injured. He felt bad so he took Hookshot and nursed him back to health. He later tried to let the bird go on its merry way but the bird always came back and so he kept it as a pet and has been friends since. Ray seems to be cautious around girls which to the girls, its odd since he is considered to be handsome. He says that he wants to wait until he graduates but he knows exactly why. But whatever the case, today was a special day.
Ray was dreaming that day. The dream was nothing new to him. He was in like a dimensional rift with an orange sky and dark clouds. But this time it was different. Out appeared a giant shadowy figure. The figure had no features other then the bright yellow eyes. He stood there, not knowing what was going to happen. The figure then bent down and reached out for Ray. The figure then spoke.
"Awaken...Hero..." It spoke with great volume. Ray violently woke up. He looked around his and saw that he was back inside his apartment. He then looked up to see Hookshot flapping its wings rapidly and squawking.
"Hey, Hookshot calm down, I'm fine," Ray tried to calm his bird down.
"Man, what time is it?" He looked at his alarm clock. It read 5:05
"Oh good, time for me to get up," Ray got up out of his bed. He walked over to his closet and opened it. He picked out a red shirt, black jean jacket, black jeans and red socks. He set them aside and went to his bathroom. He closed the door, turned on the shower, grabbed a towel, took off his shorts and jumped in.
Meanwhile in airplane heading from New York to San Francisco, A young man hailing from Egypt, wearing gray short pants, black shoes, a gray and white striped shirt, wearing a fez, was sitting down, thinking about the sights that he wants to see in San Francisco. Right next him was a girl with black hair, a purple jacket, blue shirt, black pants, and blue shoes. He looked at her. She had a certain cuteness to her with everything being modest about her. She noticed that he was looking at her.
"Hello..." She said, quietly.
"Oh uh, sorry, hello," He said, embarrassed.
"Its okay, I always get looks from guys," She said.
"Uh, well, whats your name?" He asked her.
"My name is Tanya," she said with an accent, getting a little louder.
"Oh well, My name is Omar," He said.
"Where you from?" Tanya asked him.
"From Egypt," He said. "Let me guess, you are from...France?" He guessed.
"Yep, thats right, accent gives it away," she smiled. There was a slight pause then Omar asked her
"So you heading for San Francisco?"
"Yeah, I am in that program where for studying Ancient civilizations," She said.
" So am I, wait, what civilization?" Omar asked her.
"Egypt, and let me guess, Egypt as well?" Tanya inquired.
"Yeah, well since you already can...guess why I'm doing Egypt, why are you doing Egypt?"
"Well, I wanted to do Greek, but it was full, so I just decided Egypt," Tanya explained
"Ah I see, well, I guess we'll just see who else joined," Omar said.
"Yeah..." Tanya said.
Back in San Francisco, Ray was eating his breakfast, good old fashioned cereal, with his pet hawk resting on his roost. While he was eating, his phone rang. He picked it up.
"Hello?" Ray said.
"Hello Mr. Ray," A man said on the phone.
"Oh hey professor, what do you need?"
"I just wanted to let you know that the students for the Ancient Civilization program are about to be arriving soon," The Professor said.
"Oh okay, so you want me to be at the college or the airport?" Ray asked.
"Just be at the college to get set up," The professor said.
"Alright then, I'll be heading over there right now," Ray said. Ray quickly finished his cereal and set his dishes in the sink. He put his jacket on, picked up his backup, and walked to the door. He stopped and realized that, Hookshot needed to be let out. He went over the screen door and opened it.
"Hookshot," He called for the bird. The bird woke up, stretching its impressive wingspan.
"Hookshot, you be careful alright?" Ray said. The bird happily squawked. Hookshot then flew out the door, heading outwards.
"Guess I better get going," Ray said. He shut the screen door, and walked towards his front door. He opened the door, shut it and then locked it.
"Alright, lets get this thing started," He said, walking down the hallway.
At the Airport, a young woman was sitting at the baggage claim, waiting for her bags and a special "friend" of hers. She had on short pants, boots, a sleeveless white shirt, and a brown vest. Her blonde hair was nicely wrapped in a bun behind her hair, mending well with her fair skin. Her body was a little bit on the athletic side, but it still shaped nicely. While she was waiting, a young man, with black, messy hair, a bright green shirt, black pants, and green shoes, walked by her. He looked very thin but has a sort of healthiness to him. What was interesting was that the man was followed by a crane. He then stopped.
"Do you mind if I sit here?" He asked the woman in a seemingly quiet Japanese accent.
"Not at all," She cheerfully said with a Australian accent
"Thank you," He bowed to her and then sat right next to him, with the crane standing right next to him.
"So whats your name?" The woman asked.
" Takashi," He said rather quickly. "You?"
"My name is Heather, and I am from the land down under," She pridefully said.
"Heh, Well, I am from...well, my name gave my nationally away," Takashi snickered.
"Yeah, Japan and all," she said.
"So, waiting for your bags, right?" Taka said.
"Yep and also my pet crocodile," Heather said. "And I see that you have a special friend as well."
"Yeah, if your wondering, its a long story. His name is Goku," Takashi explained.
"Oh yeah like that one character," Heather said.
"Yeah anyway, what's your crocodiles name?" Takashi asked.
"Well her name is Sara, and if you're wondering, its a long story," Heather said.
"Ah I see," Takashi acknowledged. While the two were talking, a woman with sunglasses was walking towards them. She was blonde haired, with her hair flowing down. She was wearing a black jean jacket, white sleeveless shirt, a black skirt that went down to her knees, a golden yellow belt, and black flats. However, those clothes don't hide her body well. Her body was something a man would die for, with a big chest and modest waist size. She looked around to see if there was a seat. She then walked towards Heather and Takashi.
"Excuse me, do you mind if I sit here?" She said with a thick Russian accent.
"Not a problem," Heather said. The woman sat down next to her, crossing her legs, waiting patiently for her bags.
"So Heather, what are here for?" Takashi curiously asked.
"Well I signed up for that Ancient Civilizations Program, so thats why I'm here," Heather said, flipping her hair about.
"You too?" The woman next to heather overheard there conversation, acknowledging what was going on.
"Oh so you're part of this too," Takashi acknowledge as well.
"What Civilization?" Heather asked the two.
"Egypt," They both said in unison.
"So am I," Heather smiled.
"So, we mind as well wait for our stuff then. By the way, what is your name?" Takashi asked the woman sitting next to Heather.
"Oh, sorry, My name is Natalia and my Russian accent gives away my nationally, heh" Natalia chuckled.
"Well my name is Heather and this guy is Takashi," Heather introduced both of them.
"Hello you two. Let me guess, waiting for your stuff?" Natalia inquired.
"Yep," Heather said. The three waited there until their stuff came down.
Meanwhile, a man was on a plane that was about to land. He looked neat and tidy with his dark brown hair, black jacket, dark maroon t shirt, black jeans, and dark maroon shoes. He was keeping his thoughts to himself.
"Can't wait to get of this plane," he thought, twiddling his thumbs. He smiled, as if something was making him laugh. All he can think about was enjoying himself in this new city.
In an ethereal world, 6 glowing giant shadows looked at what seems to be an orb, looking at Ray, Heather, Takashi, Natalia, Tanya, and Omar. The giants seem to be having a discussion.
"Are these the foretold disciples you were mentioning Ra?" The shadow with the brown glow said.
"Yes Hathor, these are the disciples, The animal gods watched over them well," Ra said.
"I am not so sure these mortals are worthy of our power?" The shadow with the green glow said.
"Yes Thoth, they are all worthy, after all, Horus, Sobek, Anubis, Babi, Geb, and Bastet, wouldn't guard them for so long. Once the messenger brings them all together, we will reveal ourselves to them and to inform them, that the world they live in under threat once again." Ra informed the gods that chaotic god, Set, will return to claim to what he believes, his right to rule the world.
