Rose Marie Dryer has a past she can never say out loud. No one in her life now knows that her memory survived the tragedy of her childhood. She does a thing to remember it—she dyes her hair every year. Even though she’s moved to this new small town to give public school another try, along with being a normal teenager, that ritual will not go unrealized. There proves to be a challenge in getting it just right. The first problem is Shawn Monroe, polar opposite to his star student brother.
