What comes to your mind when you hear the words, “Alice in Wonderland?” I mean, I’m sure you’ve all heard the story. Most of you probably think of little Alice and her encounters with the many strange creatures of Wonderland, who ultimately lead to her sitting along the (not so evil) Red Queen of Hearts. I like that story as much as the next person. But it’s just not the truth. The truth is really just a band of misfits, who became outlaws, and an entourage of cursed individuals, who had nowhere else to go. That’s the real story of Wonderland, not the fantasy created by some crackpot on drugs. This world that isn’t real is a place full of murders, turncoats, and outlaws, in a constant state of chaos. Most of which happens to be my fault. But more on that later. You see, everything started when I left. And then Alex and Chase came to find me. And then I was thrown back into the world I thought I’d never see again. After all, a cursed person, such as myself, had no place fighting a power I couldn’t control. But the past has a strange habit of haunting. So this is my story. By the way, before I forget: My name is Cassie McCailis. But you probably know me better as the Cheshire Cat.
