Arlene Harper has never believed in anything but the material. She has never believed the afterlife, or ghosts and spirits. She has never believed in magic or supernatural happenings. Arlene thought of these things as nothing more than fairytales, interesting fairytales that if true might make life exciting; however, they were tales for a reason. They were not real. Thus, making any and everything associated with them as nice stories. Fiction that she would read on occasion for a good laugh. So, when she was involved in a deadly accident, she embraced death readily, but something wasn't right. Only, she wasn't dead. Or was she? Everything that she never believed came to life right in front of her eyes. Including, an unexpected love.
