Welcome to a world where magic and technology both polar opposites but yet they complement each other to the fullest. A world where creatures of legend and mythology exist side by side with humans and animals like if they were brothers and sisters.

This world is known as Anamelea. Anamelea gained peace and prosperity after a force known as the Darkness tried to extinguish all life and make it a world of nothing, but failed after a hero who was in alliance with the Darkness betrayed it and weakened it to the point where not even millennia’s of rest and restoration could bring it back, but that does not mean it did not leave its mark on the planet.

Although there was no sign of the Darkness that did not mean Anamelea was safe for soon enough an alien race known as the Gargen attacked.

The Gargen was an alien race of serpent like vampires the needed to feed on creatures that uses or even possessed any type of magic. The creatures of Anamelea waged an all-out war against the Gargen. Unfortunately the inhabitants of Anamelea was losing and soon they were going to be wiped from existence but the hero from the darkness appeared and absorbed all the magic the Gargen obtained and with that magic transformed into a cosmic entity known as the purple guardian spirit.

The purple guardian spirit not only defeated the Gargan mother ship and teleported all of the Gargan to a dimension known as limbo where nothing exist not even light and darkness.

 The purple guardian spirit then restored Animelea to its original form along with restoring all of its inhabitants but in doing so the planet split in halve separating the magic from technology and creatures of legend and mythology from humans and animals.

 The creatures of legend and mythology obtained the magic and the humans gained technology. As the planet split into a planet of magic and planet of technology the planet of magic then teleported into a dimension where it was a polar opposite from the planet of technology.

The purple guardian spirit in doing all this disappeared from existence. 500 years after the attack both planet of Anamelea have grown and prospered still some essence of each other have been left on the opposite planets. There is also a legend about a hero who has X’s for eyes will come, this hero will suffer at the heart but will come out stronger and soon strong enough to unite the planets together…….

2: Chapter 1

For those who are brought down by the sins of life can either die from it or learn from it and grow from it and become even more powerful enough to write one’s own destiny.

“That was a good story” said a teenager with medium black hair, purple contacts, and wearing a white shirt with black pants with an insignia of a hydra on both clothing. “but tell me what does this have to with the founder of the city Robert” as he looked to another teen with short black hair, blue eyes, and was wearing red shirt and blue pants also with the hydra insignia.

“Well Genesis if you must know the founder of our city happens to be a friend of the purple guardian spirit and was an antromorfic to boot” Robert said. “Still not seeing it Robert and besides antromoric are only of legend like the rest of the of the supposed creature that was said to exist 500 years ago as far as we’re concerned it could be made up” Genesis said to Robert.

“As much as I like to discuss history with you Genesis we have to get back to our school, our lunch time is finished and I don’t feel like getting punished with more work again” Robert said as he packed up his stuff.

“Fine go on ahead I will meet you at school” Genesis said as he also packed his stuff.

“You better hurry you have only 10 minutes left Genesis” Robert said as he walked towards the door. “Don’t worry I am always on time” Genesis said as he walked in the opposite direction.

 Genesis rushed to the library to return the book he borrowed and in 5 minutes to the library but relised the book was 4 days overdue and had to pay $20 to the librarian. He finally made it out the library and looked at his watch and realized “dang that took longer than expected if they catch me then I will go to juvenile detection and I don’t want to go there again” Genesis said to himself as he ran to the school.

Unfortunately the school bell rang and the doors closed and Genesis was locked out. “Dang it” he said as he almost started to panic but then he had an Idea, grabbed the cellphone in his pocket and called his friend Robert.

“Come on Robert pick up, pick up yes Robert” Genesis said while trying to catch his breath.

“Genesis where are you the teacher is about to take attendance” Robert said in whispered anger.

“I am outside the school listen I need you too detract the teacher while I climb through the window” Genesis said as he made his way to the window of the classroom.

“Alright but you owe me” Robert said. Robert then raised his hand and said “Ms. Quakerdale I think someone is knocking on the door”.

“ Alright I will go check it out” she said as she got up to check the door not realizing that Genesis was climbing through the window, but he fell off and hit the floor with a thud. Ms. Quakerdale turned around to see what made the noise and saw Genesis on the ground.

“Genesis did you try to get in through the window” She said with a surprise in her voice. “Not only are you late but you tried to sneak” she said with a far less surprised but disappointed tone in her voice. “You have detention young man, you will stay behind afterhours and clean the glass in the artifact room” Ms. Quakerdale said with stern tone.

 “Dang it” he said after he got in his seat. “Alright class time to begin today’s lesson” she said as she opened a textbook.

Several hours later Genesis was in the artifact room cleaning several artifact and just finished cleaning a giant circular rune stone and now was cleaning a massive sword about the size of an adult man when he heard a voice from behind.

“So you got in trouble again Genesis” the voice said. Genesis turned around and saw Rebecca a girl with red hair and green eyes wearing a burgundy shirt with red pants with a phoenix insignia on it.

“Yeah but what can you do” Genesis said as he stood up to talk eye to eye. “Bad things seem to happen to you a lot and I guess I was a bit worried about you” Rebecca said with a slightly sad tone in her voice.

“Actually it has gotten better ever since I changed my ways from a life of crime” Genesis said. “I know it just you had no parents the day you appeared at the orphanage and all the other kids started picking on you because of your muscle disorder” Rebecca said.

“I overcame that disorder and I am strong enough holding my own” Genesis said with confident tone. “Well with a disorder that makes you a vegetable it was certainly a surprise to everyone” Rebecca said.

“Thank you for reminding me about that” Genesis said as he kneeled back down to clean the sword. “Tell me you didn’t come all the way to the artifact room to remind me of my past” Genesis said as he started to clean the sharp edge.

“No sorry Genesis I came because I wanted to ask you something” Rebecca said with a slight blush. “What is it Rebecca” Genesis said. “Would you like to go on a date with me” Rebecca said blushing even more.

“Wait what aaah” Genesis said in surprised as he cuts his hand on the sword spilling his blood across the floor.

“Genesis are you ok” Rebecca said with a worried and surprised look. “Let’s get you to the nurse” Rebecca said as she pulled out a handkerchief and wrapped it around his hand.

“Yea thanks” Genesis said as he held his bleeding hand.

The two of them ran to the nurse not noticing that some of Genesis blood landed on an egg and the egg absorbed the blood and started to glow and crack. After Genesis and Rebecca visited the nurse office and got Genesis hand bandaged the two walk through the city the bell at city hall was ringing and Genesis stopped in front of an apartment complex.

“Well here we are my home, thanks for walking me home Rebecca” Genesis said as he opened the door to the building. “No problem it the least I can do after getting you cut like that” said Rebecca with a sad tone in her voice.

 “No it was no problem your question just caught me of guard” Genesis while sratching his head. “It’s not every day a guy gets asked out on date from one of the phoenix honor school” Genesis said while blushing a bit. “Changing the topic when should I pick you up” Genesis said.

“It’s after school at 5 and listen I am really sorry for what happen” Rebecca said sadden over what happen. “I shall meet you at your house at 5 Genesis so try not to get into any more trouble” Rebecca said while quickly changing her mood.

“Alright I will try seeing you Rebecca” Genesis said as he went into the elevator. “See you Genesis” Rebecca said while waving goodbye.

As the elevator closed and moved up it hit floor 5 the door opened and Genesis went to room 5-a. He opened the door to see his living room not much was there except a couch with a TV. He went to the kitchen grabbed a cup filled it with water drank it and went to the bedroom jumped on the bed and fell asleep.

Back at the school in the artifact room the egg that absorbed Genesis blood began to glow brighter and crack more and soon it hatched. A creature then fell off the pedestal and landed on all fours. The creature then cried for a bit and then said “daddy where are you” then started to run off into the darken school looking for its supposed dad.

3: Chapter 2

The next day Genesis alarm clock went off but he hit the snooze button not wanting to get out of bed, but hears a knock on the door and a voice. “Genesis wake up we have to go to school” the voice shouted.

Although he didn’t want to Genesis forced himself to get out of bed and yelled back “alright give me a moment”. Genesis got up put some clean clothing grabbed his bag and went to open the door. He opened the door and saw Robert in his school uniform and said “you ready”.

“Yes I am good thing I woke you up or you would have been late to school again and would have gotten into even more trouble” Robert said. “Yea thanks If got in trouble again I would have missed my date” Genesis said while closing and locking the door.

“You got a date with who may I ask” Robert said while noticing Genesis bandaged hand. “While you’re at it you could tell me what happened to your hand” Robert said.

“I will tell you on the way to school it is a long story after all” Genesis said.

 “Alright I got to hear this” Robert said while heading towards the elevator. The two of them started there talk as they walked their way to school but when the two reach the school they saw the police in front of the school and went to see what happened.

“Why the police here are what happened” Robert said.

“Someone probably cherry bombed the bathrooms again” Genesis said with a sign.

“Actually one of the artifacts broke and their trying to see what happened” a voice said from behind. Genesis and Robert turned around and saw Rebecca.

 “What do you mean one of the artifacts broke” Robert questioned? “As in the fossilized egg broke apart and there trying to see how it happened” Rebecca said. “Do they really need that many police just for an old rock” Genesis questioned.

“It was a priceless artifact worth I surprised there wasn’t more” Rebecca said. “Luckily this happen at night so your safe Genesis they won’t suspect you” Rebecca assured Genesis. “Oh good and here I was starting to get worried” Genesis said. “The police needs to check the entire school for clues so all the student have the day off” Rebecca said. “Speaking of which Genesis I have to change the time of our date to 9 I have something personal to deal with” Rebecca said as she went the other way.

“Ok Rebecca” Genesis said as he waved goodbye. “Dude you are so lucky to score a phoenix honors” Robert said in envious tone. “You have to let me give you some advice and at your local hot dog stand” Robert said while pulling out some money.

 “I think I can make it through the date without your advice Robert” Genesis said while also grabbing some money out of his pocket. “Yea right don’t come to me when your date doesn’t go so well” Robert said while ordering a hotdog. “It won’t I can assure you that” Genesis said while ordering a hotdog to go.

“Well we will see but aren’t you going to eat” Robert said with his mouth full. “At home I want to enjoy the flavor” Genesis said while wrapping the hot dog. “If you’re going home then you should take the shortcut come on I will show you” Robert said while finishing the rest of his hotdog.

 Genesis followed Robert to the shortcut and both entered even though it was still daylight it was still pretty dark. “Robert are you sure this shortcut is good I don't feel like getting jumped or mugged in here” Genesis said with a slightly nervous tone. “Relax Genesis they won’t try anything in broad daylight” Robert said.

 Then they heard a rustling behind a dumpster. “What was that” Robert said slightly frightened. “It came from behind the dumpster” Genesis said while trying to be calm. The two went to see what was behind the dumpster and what they saw was a small serpent like creature with small bat like wings and covered in red ooze. “

Ah it’s a mutated dog and it has a taste for human flesh” Robert shouted as he ran in the opposite direction. “Robert wait it eating leftover burger and is covered in ketchup” Genesis shouted but Robert couldn’t hear as he was too far away. “Ah Robert you have such a vivid imagination” Genesis said in a sign.

He then looked at the creature, as reached out his hand the creature growled making Genesis pulls his hand back. “Are you hungry little guy” Genesis said as he pulled out his hotdog. “Here you go” Genesis said as he placed the hotdog on the floor in the sunlight. The creature smelled the hotdog and slowly stepped its way towards it while keeping its eye on Genesis. As the creature moved into the sunlight and to the hotdog it details of it body came into view showing it silver scales, blue pupils and its grayish white underbelly.

“What exactly are you” Genesis said. “I don’t know” the creature replied. “Whoa you can talk” Genesis said surprised. “I can talk” the creature said while finishing the hot dog. “I adopted the language of my father”. “Just who is your father anyways” Genesis said. “I don’t know” the creature replied. “I caught his scent when I was born and followed the scent but lost it” the creature said while starting to cry. “I want my daddy”. Genesis startled by the creature sudden crying and tried to comfort it while avoiding its claws and mouth.

“Uh there there little guy” Genesis said while comforting the creature. “How about I help you find your daddy” Genesis said. “You will help me find my daddy mister” the creature said while recovering from its crying.

“Sure I can besides I can’t just leave you here anyways” Genesis said while petting it carefully. “Thank you mister” the creature said while yawning. “Its Genesis and let me carry you to my place” Genesis said while picking up the creature. “Wow you are heavy” Genesis said while struggling to hold the creature. The creature didn’t hear as it snuggled in Genesis arms licking Genesis bandaged hand and slowly be lulled to sleep by Genesis heartbeat. Moments later the creature wakes up in a room and sees Genesis on the floor next to it on a laptop.

“Oh your awake you must have been pretty tired” Genesis said. “Yea” the creature said still feeling sleepy. “Listen I been doing some research on you and what it says here it say that you are a dragon” Genesis said while showing the creature.

Then all of a sudden the creature shoots a ray of light like it was scanning the computer then retracted the light. “What was that just now” Genesis said with a shock. “It is my scanning technique” The creature replied. “It’s an ability that I have I just scan information and it copy’s and implants it in my brain, it’s one of the reason I can speak English and what not”.

“So you can scan any information and it register in your head” Genesis said still surprised. “You know what I figure out the rest later because I have a date soon” Genesis said getting up. “There is one thing I most know what is your name little guy”.

 “I don’t have a name” the creature said putting its head into its wing as if about to cry again. “Then allow me to give you a name” Genesis said while heading to the fridge. “Really” The creature said as it jumped up excitingly. ”Yea you look like a toy I saw at a toy store” Genesis said while pulling out a strip of beef and cooking it. “What was the name of the toy oh yes the name of the toy was metal” Genesis said as he flipped the beef.

“That will be your name, Metal the Dragon”. Genesis said as he finished cooking the steak. “Metal the Dragon that sounds good Genesis I like it” Metal said. “Now I made you a steak to eat and I gave you a bath while you were asleep” Genesis said. “After I get back from my date I want you to go to sleep, we will talk some more about your abilities got it”.

“Got it Genesis” Metal said. “Alright bye Metal” Genesis said as he walked towards the door. “Bye Genesis” Metal said as it indulged on the piece of meat. Genesis walked out the door, locked it and continued to his date. Back at the school a large circular stone began to glow, creak, and then it opened revealing a portal. Then three creatures came out one landing on all fours and two landing on twos. Then a voice emitted from the portal saying “Bring me the dragon and kill the father”. The voice then faded as the portal closed the three turned around and said “yes guardian”.

4: Chapter 3

Genesis was walking from his apartment to the restaurant Rebecca told him to meet her at. Genesis as he walked he thought to himself about Metal, and what dragon he exactly was. The info he got from his computer told him that dragons were powerful creatures that could master a certain elements, depending on what the color of their scales.

 Unfortunately what didn’t make sense to him was that magic didn’t exist, well to him anyway, and if magic didn’t exist then neither can the creature who make use of it. Yet not only did he find a dragon he ended up taking it in. All these thought he had to himself been giving himself a headache, and before he knew it he was at the restaurant.

“The wild flower” Genesis thought to himself. “I will worry about Metal after my date tonight” Genesis thought to himself again while walking through the door. When Genesis went in he saw a big room divided into three sections, one section was the bar, and another was a dance floor with a d.j and a disco, and finally the diner room. Genesis saw Rebecca waving at him in the dining room and went to go sit with her.

Genesis sat down in on the other side of the table. When he looked at Rebecca she was wearing a black dress with a blue tulip in her hair.” Hey Genesis I am so glad you were able to come today” Rebecca said while giving Genesis a menu.

 “Truth is told I almost forgot, but remembered before it was too late” Genesis said a little embarrassed. “Well I did kind of change the time on you so it’s understandable” Rebecca said. “Well shall we order something” Genesis said while waving for a waiter.

The waiter came over and said “hello my name is Bill I will be your waiter today, what you would like to order” Bill said while binging out his notepad. “Yea I would like a rib eye steak with a salad on the side, and a diet coke” Rebecca said to Bill. “Alright what can I get for you sir” Bill said turned to Genesis. “I will have a Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of fries, and a coke” Genesis said.

“Alright, your meals will come out shortly” Bill said then walked away. “Rebecca tell mean why you wanted to ask me out” Genesis asked Rebecca. “I had a crush on you since we were little, but you weren’t exactly someone I wanted to date at a time” Rebecca told Genesis.

 “You were always hanging with the wrong crowd, and stealing from stores” Rebecca told Genesis. “I admit I hanged out with a bad crowd, but I had to take care of my little sister, and they helped me get food for her” Genesis said. “She was sick and needed food and medicine”. “I know you did me for her but still and especially what happen on that day” Rebecca said, but stop when she saw she was hitting a sensitive spot on Genesis. “I’m sorry Genesis” Rebecca said sadly.

“It’s fine let’s just change the subject” Genesis said as he held his tears. “Rebecca do you know anything about dragons” Genesis asked. “Sorry Genesis I don’t, why do you want to know about them” Rebecca said. “It has peaked my interest”.

 Genesis said. Soon the waiter came with the food and gave it to Genesis and Rebecca. “Enjoy your meals” Bill said as he walked away. “Alright lets dig in” Genesis said while taking a bite into his burger. After a while the two finally finished their meals then a slow song started to play in the dance room. “Genesis they are playing a slow song do you want to dance to it” Rebecca asked. “Maybe another time after the 3rd date or so” Genesis said.

“What I can do is pay the bill and walk you home” Genesis said while pulling out his wallet. “Fine” Rebecca said with a disappoint sign. Genesis pays the bill and led Rebecca outside to walk her to her house. The two want to say something to each other, but didn’t have anything to say. The two manage to get to Rebecca’s house, and Genesis said

“Well were here Rebecca”. “Thank you for walking me home Genesis” Rebecca said. “Alright bye Rebecca” Genesis said. “Bye Genesis” Rebecca said. She then tried to give him a kiss but Genesis walked away before she could do it. In her mind she wanted to say I love you to Genesis but knew it was only the first date, and that he wasn’t ready.

She waved him goodbye as she watched him turn the corner. Rebecca closed the door to her house as she thought to herself if she can open up Genesis like in the past and get him to smile again. She then thought that would only work in time. Genesis walked to his house thinking how the date went well and hope this one actually lasts.

 When he got to his apartment an explosion from his apartment sent two creatures out and crashing into the street. Genesis took bye surprise takes cover behind a car. What he saw scared him to the bone. A massive dragon comes out of his wrecked building holding in it mouth what looks to be a human sized cat.

The dragon then tosses the cat into the air and from its mouth a pipe appears which then blew condensed flames the engulfed the cat. Genesis then look at the other two and saw a human sized dog, and a what looked to be human but was green and deformed. While hiding behind the car he heard the deformed human say “This was supposed to be easy what exactly this dragon is”.

“The fact that our dragon buster weapons broke on its scales and it not even using magic”. The antro dog said. “We have to retreat we can’t capture it like this”. “Fine” the deformed human said, and the two ran into the darkness.

 Genesis watched as the two disappeared into the darkness. Genesis then noticed that the giant dragon disappeared, but all of a sudden the dragon lands on top of the car crushing it. Genesis frozen scared in place stared at the massive beast, and it stared right back.
