PLOT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SCREENPLAY / NOVEL 

SCREENPLAY - There 28 episodes in the Ninth and penultimate season.  

NOVEL - There are 31 episodes in the Eighth and Final Season. 

SCREENPLAY - There are 3 less episodes, than the NOVEL. 

SCREENPLAY - This season's SCREENPLAY does NOT feature flashbacks to 1978/79, as the flashbacks in the NOVEL, were shown as the Full First Season in the SCREENPLAY, with 10 episodes. 

The NOVELS first season, started sixteen years, after the SCREENPLAYS First Season. The events in Hex-Ville's 1978/79 SCREENPLAY season, were shown as flashbacks, during the NOVEL'S Eighth and Final Season, along with plots in modern day Francis Bay and Manhattan. 

The Ninth Season's SCREENPLAY only features modern day (2002-2003) Francis Bay, Manhattan, Long Island, Hex-Ville & New York State. 

The SCREENPLAY episode title 'Awkward Ghost's replaces, 'Reminicent and Inception Of The Great Love/Old Ghost Story,' from the NOVEL. 

The SCREENPLAY episode title 'Desperate Measures,' replaces the episode, ' Sleeping/Facing The Past,' from the NOVEL. 

The SCREENPLAY episode title 'Night Of The Vampire,' replaces,' Night 'til Light,' from the NOVEL. 

The SCREENPLAY episode title 'Frenemy In The Basement,' replaces 'Return And Demise Of The Original Outcast,' from the NOVEL. 

The SCREENPLAY episode title, 'Angel In Disguise?' replaces, 'Two Become One,' from the NOVEL. 

SCREENPLAY PLOT SPOILER - In the SCREENPLAY conclusion of the episode 'Mind Impact, Rebecca accidently kills Emma, mistaking her for an intruder. In the NOVEL, this scenario, occurred in the episode, Murder Most Horrid.' This due to the fact, the episode, 'Murder Most Horrid,' was renamed in the SCREENPLAY'S First Season (1978/79).  Most of the NOVEL'S episode 'Murder Most Horrid, was 90% seen in flashbacks. So, the first and final moments of the NOVELS version of this episode, were placed into the SCREENPLAY'S 'Mind Impact,' episode. 

Eric Lance is NOT Hank Willis in disguise. He's working for Hank Willis. 

Chanel Mantel is NOT Carla in disguise. But, hired by Carla. 

Tina briefly returns in the Season Nine Finale, 'Love At Second Sight.' 

Dominic did NOT participate in Jeff's death. However, still secretly had a part in the Cosmos corporation.

2: Body In Venezuela

Homage: The Opening Scene, is similar to the opening scene to TNT'S DALLAS episode 'JR's Masterpiece.' Bobby, Sue Ellen, Christopher and John Ross flew to Mexico to identify JR' body. 

THREE WEEKS LATER
APPEARS ON THE SCREEN

EXT. CARACAS. VENEZUELA. SOUTH AMERICA
Sunset - Dusk. 
The captil is located along the Guaire River, within the Caracas Valley of the Venezuelan Mountain Range. The 2, 200 Meter High Mountain Range - Cerro El Avila is seen on the horizon. 

EXT. AEROPUERTO INTERNACIONAL DE MAIQUETIA SIMON BOLIVAR
Caracas International Airport, seen in the background of a Highway. A Plane are seen taking off.

EXT. A 4X4 LIKE RANGE ROVER
Speeding down the Highway, towards Caracas, with it's Headlights on full beam..

INT. AGENT GOMEZ.
A Forty Year Old Latin, American, Female. Sat in the passenger seat, dressed in black, handing a folder to someone sitting in the back seat.

GOMEZ
These were taken on the Island, where your brothers body was discovered on the edge of the swimming pool. 

INT. HARRY WILSON. 
The Forty Two Year Old, New Yorker, takes the folder. He looks confused. He thinks the agent has made a mistake, considering his brother was gunned down by Police months ago, following his escape from Prison. 

HARRY
That's impossible. He was killed by Law Enforcement months ago. 

INT. BETHANY WILSON
Harry's Dark Haired, Forty One Year Old Second Wife, sits beside him looking at the folder given to him. 

GOMEZ
We're only going by what we know. 
(Looking through the windshield.)

INT. REBECCA TURNER
Harry's Twenty Two Year Old, biological daughter, sat beside him. She too overlooks his shoulder at the evidence given to him.  

INT. CHRISTOPHER WILSON
Harry's Twenty Two Year Old, adopted nephew sits opposite him, on a backseat facing the rear of the car. He curiously wonders what's inside the folder. 

CHRIS
Maybe it's somebody that looks like him. 

INT. EMMA WILSON
Christopher's Twenty Two year old, long Dark haired wife, too sat beside him and facing the rear of the vehicle. Emma nods in agreement

EMMA
It's possible. 

GOMEZ
That's not what Forensics have concluded. 

Christopher feels uneasy by Gomez suggestion. Jeff could haven't died twice, within months of his escape from a Federal Penitentiary. 

Harry takes out what's inside the folder. 

INT. PHOTOGRAPHS.
Pictures of the crime scene on the Island where Jeff was murdered and discovered. 

INT. PHOTOGRAPH 1.
Isabella Tarn bludgeoned to death on a bed, with blood splattered across the covers and on the wall. 

Rebecca is sickened by the sight of a dead body depicted in the photo. She puts her hand to her mouth, horrified. 

REBECCA
Holy shit. That's horrible. 

CLOSE UP OF PICTURE OF THE DECEASED ISABELLA TARN. 
CLOSE UP OF HARRY.

HARRY
Who's this? 

GOMEZ
I believe that is Isabella Tarn. The deceased daughter of the now deceased Ali Tarn, a former Oil Baron turned Drug Smuggler. 
We think she and your brother were lovers. 
(O.S.)

Bethany stares curiously at the picture. 

BETHANY
We heard about that pirate attack on the news. Is this attack linked? 

GOMEZ
That we do not know. It's possible. 

Bethany raises her eyebrow. She knows more than she's letting on, as she suspects she may know, who is behind Jeff's demise. She glances smugly to Harry and then stares back at the picture. Harry switches photographs. 

INT. PHOTOGRAPH 2
A Swimming Pool full of blood and blood smeared across the outer layers and walk way. They appear to be taken in the night. 

Harry quickly flicks through the other pictures. Neither show Jeff in the photos given to him. This puts a grain of doubt into his mind, thinking that the agent is leading him on. 

HARRY
Why is my brother, not in these pictures?

GOMEZ
I don't think, it would be fare to show you the brutality, your elder sibling suffered. 

HARRY 
Or there is something you don't want to share with us? Or why, you think this is my brother. 

GOMEZ
I'm sorry Mr Wilson, but I can't share that information. 
(O.S.)

Gomez hints, that she is not denying, that she received information, that Jeff was the body found on the Caribbean Island, with Isabella. This annoys Christopher and he jolts himself round and launches a verbal attack on the Agent. 

CHRIS
Oh, so you're protecting someone. Who?!

The agent appears evasive, calm and collective. She shows no concern in Christopher's anxiousness. 

GOMEZ
That's quite an assumption. For someone's father, who nearly caused World War Three, I would keep a lid on things. 

Emma senses her husband is losing his patience. 

CHRIS
Now, look here!....

Emma grips Christopher's arm to calm him.

EMMA
Chris, settle down. Losing it, won't make things any better. 

BETHANY
Emma's right Chris. When we get to the Mortuary, our minds will be put at rest - hopefully. 

Christopher reluctantly gets a grip and sits back down. He is frustrated. Both he and Harry, think they've been given the run a round, considering Jeff was seen killed, on U.S. soil and in front of a devastated Lola and Oscar. Harry quickly flicks through the pictures once more and then chucks them down on the floor, annoyed. Bethany showing her support, holds Harry's hand. He takes a deep sigh and too feel anxious and tired. 

HARRY
Just wanna get this farce over with. 

Rebecca too shows her support. 

REBECCA
We're for you Daddy. 

EXT. MORTUARY
A dirty and depressing looking building. Like a Warehouse. 

EXT. 4X4 RANGE ROVER. 
Pulls up outside the Mortuary. 

EXT. HARRY WILSON. BETHANY WILSON. RECBECCA TURNER. CHRISTOPHER WILSON. EMMA WILSON. 
All exit the Vehicle, fatigued and reluctant to be in Venezuela. 

EXT. AGENT GOMEZ. 
The agent exits the front passenger side. 

The driver stays in the car. Gomez puts hands in her pocket. Emma holds Christophers hand, who appears exhausted. Bethany rubs Harry's arm.

GOMEZ
Are you sure, you ready for this? 

Harry is upset and thinks being in Venezuela is unecessary. 

HARRY
I've spent five hours on a flight I did not want to be on. I do hope for your sake you've not made a mockery of my family and I. 

GOMEZ
Once, you see for yourself, that I'm not. You'll forgive me for being so evasive on certain facts.
(She holds her hand out)
After you. 

Harry heads in ahead of the rest of the Wilson family, who follow him inside. Gomez politely lets them go in head of her. 

INT. MORTUARY ROOM. 
A bleak room, with tiled walls, yet well lit. 

INT. HARRY WILSON. BETHANY WILSON. REBECCA TURNER. CHRISTOPHER WILSON. EMMA WILSON. 
All enter the room, nervously and look very uncomfortable. Bethany holds Harry's hand, as does Emma holding onto Christopher. Rebecca quietly strolls beside her father. 

INT. GOMEZ.
Follows on behind. 

INT. CORONER. 
In a white body suite, stood beside refrigerators, where corpses are stored for autopsies. 

Agent Gomez stands beside the coroner and introduces the Wilson family. 

GOMEZ
This is the Mr Wilson's family. 
(points to Harry)
This is his Brother
(then to Christopher)
and Son. 
(turns to Harry)
When you're ready Mr Wilson, we'll proceed with identification of the Deceased's body. 

Harry hesitates nervously, as he fears, it could be his brother after all. He looks over to Christopher for assurance, that it would be OK to proceed. Christopher loved his adopted father, no matter what -through all the trials, tribulations and conflicts. Maybe closure is the best way forward. Christopher takes a deeps sigh and nods in reluctance. 

CHRIS
Go head. 

Gomez glances to Harry. Harry agrees by nodding. Bethany is calm. Rebecca is shaken and Emma grips onto Chris in fear. Gomez gives the go ahead. 

GOMEZ
Open up please. 

The Coroner slides open a fridge and slides out a Trolley, with a large black zipper bag, concealing an unseen dead body. The coroner brings the trolley central to the five members of the Wilson family. They look uneasy and cold. It's an unpleasant situation to be in. Gomez stands opposite the Wilson's the otherside of the Black bag, with the Coroner. 

GOMEZ
When you're ready. He will unzip the bag, for identification. 

Harry takes a big gulp, as Bethany shows support by rubbing his shoulder. But, her support could be the ultimate manipulation. 

BETHANY
It's OK my love. I'm here. 

Harry momentarily pauses  and nods sorrowly. The Coroner starts slowly unzipping the bag. Once the bag is fully opened, the reaction of the Wilson's say's it all. 

THE BODY REMAINS UNSEEN TO THE AUDIENCE. 
However, judging by their reaction, it is Jeff Wilson. 

Harry tenses up and tears fills his eyes. Rebecca is horrified by the sight of her dead Uncle. Christopher frozen stiff, bursts into tears. As does Emma, who grasps onto his arms. Rebecca cannot bare to look at the body and turns around, devastated. 

REBECCA
Oh my God. 

Bethany seems motionless, almost as if she is not witness to the tragedy. Gomez senses the identity of the deceased, is that of Jeff Wilson. However, she still needs clarification, that it is him. 

GOMEZ
I'm sorry, Mr Wilson. I can see this is traumatizing for you, but I do need you to clarify that this is your brother. 

Harry, again frozen stiff, looking down at the unseen corpse. Judging by his expression, he has been brought down to Earth, with his worst fears and denial. Bethany again keeping composure speaks for her husband instead. 

BETHANY
Yes. This is is his brother - Jeff Wilson. 

Gomez regretfully accepts the identification and signals for the Coroner to zip up the bag. Christopher cries out loudly and Emma raps her arms around her grieving husband. Rebecca tries to get a hold of her self, who is in tatters. She has only known her Uncle a few months. Memories of 9/11 come back. 

CLOSE UP OF BETHANY STARING DOWN AT THE BODY BAG - THE CAMERA PANS TO HARRY, WHO STANDS MOTIONLESS, YET TWO TEARS FALL DOWN EACH CHEEK, AS HE FINALLY NOW HAS TO COME TO TERMS WITH THE DEATH OF HIS BROTHER, JEFF.
