JON
Where's Jeff?
MARY

Audrey unlike her husband, looks more enthusiastic, by Jon's Heroics in Vietnam.
AUDREY
Well, you're home that's the main thing. Jon sounds like a real hero. But, so are are you.
MARGIE
He sure is. My heart has been in my mouth, the last few years.
AUDREY
I can imagine.
Like Jonathan, Billy appears to be scouring the Garden for someone.

BILLY
Watch it Gregory. You'll ruin it. Why aren't you playing with the other kids?
GREG
Can I try a beer dad?
Billy seems annoyed by his son's suggestion.
BILLY
What, so you can embarrass me?
Audrey realizes his son is curious and rolls her eyes, with what seems a sarcastic brief laugh.
AUDREY
Billy. He's Six years old. He's curious.
(Audrey kneels in front of her son, doting on him, by straightening his tie).
Greg, my little pudding. You are too young to drink the big boy stuff. You'll end up with Jelly Legs and you'll fall over.
Greg chuckles at his mothers claims.
GREG
Will I get Jelly legs?
AUDREY
Did you eat all your Jelly, Mary gave you?
GREG
Yes Mom.
Audrey tenderly smiles and rubs Gregs arm and kisses him on the forehead.
AUDREY
Go sit with your sister for a while. Harry might let you have some of his cake.
GREG
OK, Mom.
Greg looks disappointed and reluctantly rejoins his twin sister, Tina. Billy looks disgruntled, by the way Audrey fusses over their son. He lets out a big sigh.
BILLY
I wish you'd stop fussing him, Audrey. He'll never be a man.
AUDREY
Why didn't you fight the War in Vietnam then?
Billy gives his wife a look of a stern look, almost as if it's the most unforgiving thing she could say. If looks could kill.
BILLY
You witless woman. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
AUDREY
Sorry, love, you've lost me.
BILLY
How could I have fought the War in Vietnam?
I'm not even American.

CARLA
He's always busy.
MARILYN
I'm not his secretary.
CARLA
Probably banging his secretary.
Marilyn is horrified by her daughter's foul mouth and grabs her arm. She near enough puts her nose to Carlas face.
MARILYN
Another word like that young lady and my hand will be more than firmer on that ass of yours.
Marilyn shoves Carlas arm aside and takes another gulp out of her glass. Carla stands silent with some regret. Marilyn does not want a scene. However, Carla senses some neglect by her father. Marilyn tries to keep some composure, as her daughter waits impatiently by her side. But, it seems Marilyn doesn't want to lose patience.
MARILYN
Why don't you go play with the kids?
CARLA
What Seven and Eight Year Olds?
MARILYN
Just keep your little sister some company.
CARLA
Bethany's fine. She's pulling her heart strings for Harry Wilson.
MARILYN
Is that sarcastic tone, because I don't trust you hanging out with the eldest Wilson boy and that Willis hoodlum? They're older than you.
Carla appears to give a fony smile.
CARLA
Nobody's perfect. You should know.

MARY
Oh my God. Jeff, what happened?
Jeff tries not to allow his mother to fuss and holds his head back.
JEFF
Mom it's fine. You should have seen the other guy.
Jonathan is not impressed by his son's attitude.
JON
Fighting is nothing to be proud of son. Especially, if you consider it as fun.
You should be here, celebrating your sons birthday. Not, gallivanting looking for trouble.
JEFF
Yeah, I heard you war hero!
Jon appears incensed by that remark and wants to discipline his son, but Mary stops her husband, for Harry's sake and because there are numerous guests, who are witnessing Jeff's show up. Mary doesn't want to see either Father and son embarrassed.
Billy rolls his eyes, appearing to know what Jeff is like. Marilyn points towards Jeff and gives her a nudge.
MARILYN
And you want that kind of company my dear?
CARLA
Like I said,' Nobody's perfect.'

('There's a new World somewhere, they call the promised Land
And I'll be there someday, if you could hold my hand
I still need you their beside me, no matter what I do br /> For I know, I'll never find another you.')
Harry looks in front of him.
EXT. TINA
Smiling at him.
Harry holds the ring out in front of him and offers it to Tina, as the other kids watch on.
HARRY
Will you marry me?
TINA
Yes, Harry. I will marry you.
Harry places the toy ring on her finger.
EXT. GREG CLOSE UP
Just staring.
The adult guests find Harry's gesture sweet, generous and kind hearted and very innocent.
('There is always someone for each of us they say
And you'll be my someone forever and a day
I could search the whole World over, until my life is through
But, I know, I'll never find another you.')
EXT. WILLIAM AND AUDREY
Audrey is overcome with emotion by Harry's token to her daughter. Billy rolls his eyes and smiles, almost being sarcastic.
BILLY
Kids, will be kids, won't they?
AUDREY
I think it's Romantic.
BILLY
If you believe that stuff.
AUDREY
Underneath that cold sarcastic demeaner of your's, there's a some goodness in you somewhere. But, it will probably require a surgical procedure to find it.
Guests applaud Harry for giving Tina the ring.
('It's a long, long journey, so stay by my side
When I walk through the Storm, you'll be my guide, be guide
If they gave me a fortune, my pleasure would be small
I could lose it all tomorrow, I'd never mind at all
But, if I should lose your love dear, I don't know what I'd do
For I know I'll never find another you.
INTERLUDE ")
Jon and Mary watch on, as Jeff mellows and sits down. He smiles slightly. Jon puts his arm around Mary, looking down at their youngest sibling, being smitten with Tina.
JON
That's some boy there isn't Mary?
MARY
Love at first sight.
Marilyn looks at Bethany with sorrow. However, Carla doesn't seem to show the same concern, as her mother.
CARLA
Looks like, little sister Bethany's got her work cut out for her.
CLOSE UP OF HARRY HOLDING TINA'S HAND WITH THE TOY RING ON HER FINGER.
('But if I should lose your love dear, I don't know what I'd do

Tina thinks for a moment nervously and then comes to a realization.
TINA
Oh. Sorry Dad.
Tina hurries over and gives her father a kiss goodbye. Tina runs to the door and rushes out, not before calling up the stairs
TINA

Greg goes to follow his sibling, when Billy calls out to his son. His voice causes a vibration in the Hallway and this startles Greg, with some fright. The teenager freezes, almost as if this is not the first time, Billy speaks to him in that tone. Greg looks at his Billy.

INT. HARRY WILSON
He hurries in as the School Bell sounds and he brushes past students. He rushes grasping his bag over his shoulder, in an attempt not to miss class. Harry comes to his personal locker and he seems to know the location, as it may be the same one, he's used through his High School years. Harry throws his bag down, as he places in a numerical code to unlock the Locker. He unlocks it and throws open the metal door quite quickly and starts fumbling threw his bag for books.
INT. OSWALD JOHNSON
A broad teenager, with a fairly mean look about him. His dress code appears scruffy, where his clothes don't meet his build. His T Shirt is that of Lynyrd Skynyrd, a Rock Band and Blue Jeans that cover way over his foot wear. His hair is greased, like Fifties Style and he has a tooth pick in his mouth. His approach to Harry is quite abrupt.
OSWALD
Hey, Wilson! Get laid this summer?
Harry hesitates, staring his locker, trying to ignore the bold and arrogant re-introduction of somebody, he doesn't want to acqauint himself to. Harry does his utmost best not to feel intimidated, as it feels like, he's had some altercation with Oswald in the past. Harry partially glances to his left, as Oswald rolls the tooth pick in his mouth. Harry reluctantly acknowledges him, but does not answer to his question.
HARRY
Oswald.
Harry looks behind him.
EXT. HARVEY & CLIFF
Two High School Bullies, associates of Oswald. Harvey chews heavily on gum. Cliff wearing a Leather Jacket, leers at Harry.
Oswald laughs a little a the Wilson boy, almost mocking him.
OSWALD
You didn't answer my question.
Harry already starts to feel annoyed by Oswalds presence within his personal space.
HARRY
It's none of your business Oswald.
Oswald attempts to intimidate Harry, by trying to start much taller than him, although Oswald is only just a few inches above Harry's height. He again sniggers.
OSWALD
All these years and you still can't get into Tina's underwear. You never know, my luck may change and I'll beat you to it.
Harry goes eye to eye with the bully.
HARRY
Oswald you couldn't beat yourself off to a Vagrant if you tried.
Oswald is incensed by Harry's remark, but Harry holds his ground. He puts his face into Harry, ready for a punch up.
OSWALD
What did you say, you Prick?
SUDDENLY, THERES A SARCASTIC COUGH, AS WAY OF INTERRUPTION.
GLENDA ROBINSON
Uh- Um.
(O.S.)
Oswald reluctantly stops himself, by the interruption.
INT. GLENDA ROBINSON.
The School Principal, aged 32. Blonde like Golden Hair and Brown Eyes. Her face appears tense and strict, as she darts her eyes at Oswald. Her eyes glaring at him, like a Mannequin still in a shop window.
GLENDA
When you're quite finished Mr Johnson, your class is very much in the time scale of just getting underway. Don't make yourself, my first casualty for Detention of Senior Year.
Oswald glances to Harvey and Cliff, who mellow and then to Harry, who stands staring at his adversary, smugly. Oswald lowers the toothpick out of his mouth.
OSWALD
See ya later, Asshole. Don't forget to cry to that Big Brother of yours.
Oswald, Harvey and Cliff make themselves scarce.
INT. DOMINIC KING
A somewhat tall brown haired, looking nerd enters, through the Main door, just as Oswald and his cronies turn right to go upstairs. Oswald wastes no time, to intimidate his next victim. He maneouvres his head towards the student, who feels a little threatened by the Bully.
OSWALD
Oh, look the Creepo.
Harvey gives Dominic a nudge and they start laughing menacingly, when they go out of sight. Dominic heads to his locker.
Glenda Robinson shakes her head in dismay, at the appalling attitude and behaviour of Oswald and the way he conducts himself and the way he becomes abusive and threatening to others. Glenda shows some compassion to Harry and touches his shoulder.
GLENDA
I wish you just walk away Harry. I wouldn't want to have to suspend you or give you detentions on your last year of Senior.
HARRY
Sorry, Mrs Robinson. I'm not back five minutes and already he wants to get at me, because of my brother and....
(hesitating)
As if there is another reason. Harry stares in the direction of the School Entrance, not finishing his sentence. He appears to be distracted by something...or someone.
INT. TINA & GREG MCQUIRE.
The twins enter the School.
HARRY P.O.V.
His eyes are fixed on the Tina. The love of his life. The girl of his dreams, who for some reason, is not yet in a realtionship with her, despite knowing each other for Eleven years.
IN SLOW MOTION, TINA WALKS IN HARRY'S DIRECTION.
Harry is in a trance, as he becomes fixated by pretty brown eyes and long Brown Hair.
Glenda listens on, expecting Harry to open up to her. Glenda manages to get Harry's attention, by tapping him on the shoulder.
GLENDA
Harry? You were saying?
HARRY
Never mind.
Glenda takes a deep sigh.
GLENDA
You have been, one of my most gifted students - male students that is. If you ever feel you need to get anything off your chest..my door is always open.
Glenda tenderly touches his arm from the shoulder, down to the top of his hand, almost as if she is giving him the come on. She smiles affectionately.
GLENDA
You best get going. Don't want you being late for class.
Harry nervously nods and smiles.
HARRY
Thanks - Mrs Robinson.
Dominic closes his locker, watching on and Glenda smirks and winks at him, acknowledging his presence.
GLENDA
Dominic.
DOMINIC
Morning Mrs Robinson.
Glenda heads to her office and Harry looks back to Tina, who is sorting out her locker, while Greg hurriedly selects his books for class. Harry walks over, trying not to be too shy and greets Tina.
HARRY
Morning.
Tina's eye dart to Harry and she pleasantly responds to his nice manners. She appears to be thrilled to see him, but also is in a rush.
TINA
Oh hi. Sorry, Harry. What a day to be in a rush. First day of Senior year.
HARRY
Same here.
TINA
Apologies for not making it to the Barbeque last week. Something came up. Your Mom, must have gone to so much trouble.
HARRY
It's fine. I understand. Nothing went to waste.
Harry glances to Greg, who doesn't seem to notice, he's there. Harry tries to get some encouragement from Tina's Twin sibling.
HARRY
You OK Greg?
Greg appears to be in a World of his own and seems to be quite brief by Harry's introduction.
GREG
Uh - yeah.
Greg walks off, not having much time to make conversation. Harry finds Greg a little off and seems curious as to why he looks glum. Tina can sense, Harry has quickly noticed, Greg is looking glum. Tina closes her locker, as she and Harry watch her brother, make himself scarce.
TINA
He's fine. He's just...
HARRY
I understand.
Harry looks longingly into Tina's eyes, as he can sense there's some little sadness in her eyes. She has something bottled up inside.
HARRY
How about you? Is everything alright at home?
Harry's concern touches a nerve slightly. Tina tries not to be overcome with emotion. Harry forward thinking, has her feeling touched by his concern. Almost as if, he knows what goes on behind closed doors. Tina gulps, keeping her emotions in check.
TINA
As well as it can be. You?
HARRY
Yeah it's....same old, same old.
INT. BETHANY MORRISON
Stood at the bottom of the staircase, Bethany watches on jealously watching on. She feels for Harry, the way Harry feels for Tina. She glares at them briefly, before turning in some sadness and heading to class. Dominic notices Bethany watching Harry and Tina in conversation and he too heads off to class.
TINA
(to Harry)
Is that a bad thing?
HARRY
I don't know. I've never really thought about it. I might consider it, before end of Senior year.
TINA
A lot can happen between now and then.
HARRY
The only way is up.
TINA.
Have you thought about, what you want to do..in the future?
HARRY
I want to be an Architect. I want to build things.
Tina finds Harry's choice at career promising.
TINA
I want to be a singer. Actress maybe.
HARRY
You have the voice of an angel.
Tina rolls her eyes and giggles at the same time.
TINA
How many time have you told me that?
(playful sarcasm)
HARRY
What about Greg?
TINA
In truth, I'm not sure. He especially wants to be set high standards by father. It scares me a little. Greg's my twin brother, yet Daddy is not as strict with me, as he is with Greg. I don't know, where he went wrong.
HARRY
Thats the difference between your brother and mine. Greg keeps his feelings bottled up. Jeff well..he's...
TINA
Jeff?
Harry goes into thought.
HARRY
Yeah.

The two men appear to become sexually attracted to Carla very quickly and she starts to flaunt herself to the two males. She leans back against the counter, spreading her arms out and crossing her legs. She licks her lips, teasing the two.
CARLA
Looking for some action boys?
The two men act cool and loosen the buttons on their shirts, as they start to sweat, with the intensity.
MALE 1
What do you have in mind sweetheart?
CARLA
How about we go for a ride and I'll give you both a ride. You know what I mean?
(winking)
Male 2 gets excited.
MALE 2
Oh, hell, yes.
Carla stands up straight, continuing to manipulate the male customers, by acting seductive.
CARLA
Lead the way boys.
EXT. HARDWARE STORE
EXT. MALE 1. MALE 2.
The two men exit the Hardware store, feeling like they're in luck. They then abruptly stop and look completley horrified. The CHEVROLET CHEVELLE and DODGE CHALLENGER are gone. They have been stolen. The two men are in turmoil and male 1 grabs his head in dismay.
MALE 1

But, right this minute, all I want, is to lay here next you
Those memories still keep calling me, from somewhere in my past

(to himself)
Albert starts the Patrol Vehicle and exits the Precinct in Hot Pursuit...
Or is it a Pursuit?
('Every Which Way But Loose

5: Meta Human Theory
INT. HEX-VILLE HIGH SCHOOL CANTEEN
Students are sat down for their Lunch. Other's a queing for refreshments and Meals. It's pretty busy and loud.
CAMERA PANS TO A CROWDED TABLE.
INT. HARRY WILSON.
He's eating a Sandwich.
INT. RALPH DARWIN
A blonde Eighteen year old in conversation with Harry. He sits with his chair partially pushed away from the table and sideways. Ralph is hopeful the Hex-Ville Terriers Football Team, will hit new heights during Senior Year.
RALPH
So, you going back in for the Terriers this year?
Harry shrugs.
HARRY
I don't know.
RALPH
I wouldn't blame you if you didn't. Don't think many will want to retry. I mean last year, was so embarrassing, it's a wonder, Coach Larkin didn't plea for liquidation of the team altogether.
Harry chuckles a little seeing the funny side.
HARRY
There are ways and means of getting a Scholarship.
RALPH
We got a year. And that's flies by in no time.
Harry nods in agreement, take a sip of his squash.
HARRY
Yeah.
Ralph notices, Harry is a bit on edge. He taps his friend on the shoulder, curious as to whats bothering him.
RALPH
What is it? Not, about Oswald Johnson again is it? He's such an asshole.
HARRY
It's not that. My Mom and Dad, they want the best for me. But, it's the funds for college. Could get expensive if I want to follow Architecture.
Ralph takes a bite out of a red apple.
RALPH
Most of us are in the same boat man. However, is there anything else on the agenda, before Senior Year is out?
Harry frowns in confusion, as to what Ralph could be implying. Ralph puts on a forced happy face, like he's teasing Harry or trying to give some sort of hint. Ralph nods in the direction of the Canteen Entrance, making Harry look.
INT. TINA.
The Seventeen Year Old enters and waves to some friends of hers and makes her way over to them.
HARRY P.O.V.
Harry's eyes are still firmly fixed on the girl of his dreams. It seems Ralph was hinting, that maybe Harry will try and win Tina's heart before the end of the last year of School. Tina manoeuvres past other students until one starts to get too close for comfort.
INT. OSWALD JOHNSON.
The school bully ogles at her and almost tries to get her attention from a foot away, by laughing and making crude comments. In Harry's eyes, Oswald is leering and being malicious.
Tina ignores Oswald's Demeanor and joins her friends, a few tables away. Harry is hateful towards Oswald, but is scared to allow himself to finally attempt to date Tina Mcquire. Harry turns away and starts playing with his food. Ralph hits Harry on the arm.
RALPH
Well, what are you waiting for?
HARRY
I talked to her this morning.
RALPH
You asked her on a date?
HARRY
That's a bold assumption. No I didn't.
RALPH
Why not?
HARRY
It's not that simple.
Harry sits up back, taking a deep breath.
RALPH
Harry, you've have loved that girl since - forever. You keep stalling, she'll find somebody, that will make you a distant memory in no time. What are you afraid of?
Harry sits up and rest his arms on the table and clasps his hands together.
HARRY
I'm afraid if we did fall in love...
It would only be for now.
RALPH
Look man, you gotta think positive for a change. Her Daddy can't wrap her up in Cotton Wool for the rest of her life. He's just a Lawyer, who thinks the World revolves around him. Prove him wrong.
HARRY
Yeah -
I think you're right.
Ralph keeps trying to buck Harry's confidence by being more cheerful in his tone.
RALPH
Of course I'm right. Your Mother and Father like her don't they?
HARRY
My mother and Audrey have got along for years...
Ralph interrupts.
RALPH
Well there you go.
Harry, hesitates and feels there's a glitch, that could put a damper on his attempts.
HARRY
Then, there's the feud between my Dad and William.
Ralph pauses, coming to realization.
RALPH
Because of Jeff?
HARRY
And other things.
Ralph sees Harry is desperate to be with Tina and mellows down.
RALPH
Go with your heart man. Not unless, you're waiting for someone too easy.
Harry's eyes dart to Ralph in confusion.
HARRY
Too easy?
Ralph's tone of voice changes to whispering.
RALPH
Bethany Morrison, she's coming over.
INT. BETHANY MORRISON.
Bethany abruptly appears from the crowd and wanders over to Harry and greet him. She appears smitten by him. Harry politely acknowledges the Dark Haired Teenager. Bethany holds up her bag over her shoulder.
BETHANY
Hi, Harry.
HARRY
Bethany. How are you? Didn't see you much over the summer.
Bethany acknowledges with a disappointed in expression, however in agreement.
BETHANY
Yeah, my Mom's not been well.
Ralph looks away, almost like he's embarrassed for Harry to be in conversation with her. However, he quickly takes a pun at Bethany's quote, regarding her mother. He covers his mouth, almost as if he wants her to hear what he says and not.
RALPH
What pissed?
Ralph sniggers. Harry feels uncomfortable by his friends response, like he's trying to mock or scorn Bethany. Harry pretends he didn't hear Ralph and kindly carries on.
HARRY
I'm sorry to hear that Beth. I hope she's better.
Bethany looks down beat.
BETHANY
So do I.
Awkward silences momentarily. Bethany is nervous, as she is desperately in love with Harry, who only has eyes for Tina.
BETHANY
You going back on the football team this year?
HARRY
I don't know, we'll have to see. Last year was not the best by our standards.
Bethany seems disappointed
BETHANY
Oh...
INT. DOMINIC KING
THE CAM FOCUSES ON DOMINIC
The Teen is sat, tables away watching Bethany in conversation with Harry. He likes Bethany, who only has eyes for Harry. He appears jealous.
HARRY
Have you thought about, what you're gonna do when you leave School?
(O.S.)
BETHANY
Not yet. I'm sure there's plenty of opportunities.
(O.S.)
HARRY
You'll be fine.
(O.S.)
BETHANY
You in Biology Class next?
Ralph sniggers behind Harry's back. Harry feels awkward, but contains himself.
HARRY
Uh - yeah.
Bethany puts on a big grin and is almost going red in the face.
BETHANY
I'll see you then.
HARRY
Yeah...
See you then.
Bethany glances to Ralph, not pleased with his attitude towards her. It's rather ignorant and demoralizing. She smiles at Harry and walks away. When Bethany is further away, Ralph chuckles at how geeky she seems and how desperate, she wants Harry. Ralph doesn't waste time to mock her.
RALPH
You in Biology Class next?
Harry shakes his head at Ralph's immaturity.
HARRY
Seriously?
Ralph stops laughing, when he and Harry appear to be distracted by somebody else.
INT. FELICITY MASON.
The Seventeen Year Old Blonde, School slut walks into the Canteen, with her blouse, half undone. She glances over into Harry and Ralphs direction. She winks at Harry and smiles. Harry nervously smiles back. Felicity then turns her attention to somebody else.
OSWALD JOHNSON - walks up to Felicity and plants a prolonged kissed on her lips and grabs her Butt cheeks.
Both Harry and Ralph have a look of disgust on their faces and express nauseous, at the sight of Oswald Johnson in some kind of relationhip.
INT. FALLON MASON
Felicity's Seventeen year old, Twin sister appears through the double doors of the Canteen. She spots her sibling in a clinch with the school bully. Fallon looks on with a foul expression and walks past the couple.
FALLON
Eww. Get a room you two.
Fallon herself then looks in the direction of Harry and Ralph. She blows Harry a teasing kiss. Oswald and Felicity appear to continue to flirt with each other and leave.
RALPH
Maybe you need to step into his shoes Harry.
Harry does not reply to Ralph's suggestion, as it appears he's considered his quote an insult. Ralph senses this by Harry's discomfort.
RALPH
No, maybe not.
Something then catches Harry's eye.
INT. TIMES MAGAZINE.
Sticking out of Ralph's Rucksack.
Curiously, being nosy, Harry grabs the Magazine and looks at the front. Ralph is displeased.
RALPH
Hey, what are you doing?
Harry seems confused, yet interested.
THE HEADLINE ON THE MAGAINE READS "META HUMANS! Fact Or Myth?" A Space view Picture, of a Meteor hitting the Earth and an Alien depicted in the Earth's background.
HARRY
Meta Humans. Fact Or Myth?
And you call Bethany geeky.
Ralph appears to show some passion for this article.
RALPH
You mean, you don't know the history of this?
Harry is sceptical.
HARRY
That's if it is history. I've heard somethings, but it's crackpot stuff.
RALPH
In 1901, a Meteor fell to Earth in the Mid West, during a rare electrical storm. Indians were doing a ritual and the Chief Indian was struck by Lightening and was overcome by the Meteor's affects, which landed within their proximity. The strikes occurred simultaneously.
HARRY
Then what happened?
RALPH
Scientists think, this Meteor had some sort of Extraterrestrial connection and that it, travelled through space following a Super Nova light years away. The rock broke into many millions of pieces and was scattered over thousands of square miles.
HARRY
What about the Indian?
RALPH
He was the first of many.
Harry is not getting the hint.
HARRY
Many what?
RALPH
That people are turning into or exhibiting different forms of an Alien power.
Harry finds Ralph's belief in the story, bizarre and throws the Magazine on the table.
HARRY
Give me an example.
RALPH
The Indian caught up in the original strike, turned into a Werewolf a few days later and attacked a small village. He was killed, but his wife found out she was pregnant a while later. His generation apparently lives on.
HARRY
So, how come, we've never seen any...Meta Human's if these Meteorite fragments were scattered across the States or the World.
Ralph gets confident in his explanation.
RALPH
These people don't exactly want to be on the Six 'O Clock news. They live in isolation or it's possible they dont exhibit their powers until years later. It may be they commit suicide or apprehended by...
HARRY
The Government?
RALPH
Yes. But, if you missed the news recently, the man who published this story, had gone missing a day after this sent out. My theory is the Government are studying these Meta Human's for Military purposes.
HARRY
Well, we won't get the call then, if World War Three kicks off.
(sarcastically)
Ralph wants to convince Harry.
RALPH
I'm being serious.
HARRY
That's at first.
6: Enter The Crocetti's
EXT. MANSION HOUSE.
Home to the Italian Mafia family. A large driveway and massive double gates.
EXT. GUARDS.
Two stocky Henchmen stood each side of the Gate, wearing dark suits, ties and Sun glasses.
EXT. LIMOSINE.
Parked near the steps of the front door to the house.
INT. LOG FIRE. - CLOSE UP
THE CAMERA THEN MOVES INTO A DIM LIVING QUARTERS.
With sculptures of art around the room.
INT. GARCIA CROCETTI
A Sixty Year Old, Italian Patriarch in a Suit and Bow tie sat reading a News Paper. In the background an Italian Opera plays on his Record Player. The passionate tone of the singer, keeps Garcia's mind at rest, as he maintains his concentration on the newspaper.
THEN THERE IS A KNOCK ON THE DOOR.
Garcia raises his head, without so much as change in facial expression.
GARCIA
Yes?
A calm voice is heard behind the Oak door, as Garcia turns a page.
ROMANO
It's me Pa.
(O.S.)
GARCIA
Come in son.
INT. ROMANO CROCETTI
Garcia's Thirty Four Year Old, Italian American son enters the room, in a Homburg Hat and Over Jacket. He closes the door behind him and removes his hat. He moves quietly towards his father, without trying to disturb him. Garcia does not make eye contact with Romano. It appears he's somewhat distant. There some awkward silence between the two, almost as if they were estranged, even though they live under the same roof. With Garcia's eyes very much stuck in the Articles of the Financial Times, it leaves Romano no choice, but to start the conversation.
ROMANO
I'm going down to New York City tonight. Try and convince Mr Charleston to change his mind on that land deal.
Garcia is reluctant to acknowledge Romano and nods partially. He grunts also. The room almost feels toxic, but Romano keeps his himself contained well.
ROMANO
I won't be back until tomorrow evening, if I can help it.
Garcia throws his arm up, in arrogance and continues to flick through the paper. It's almost like he doesn't care.
GARCIA
Do what you have to do. Just make sure you deal with the consequences.
ROMANO
I sure, it won't lead to any consequences Pa. Just thought I'd keep you informed.
Garcia shrugs his shoulders, with the same uninterested expression. He leans forward and drinks a glass of water. Romano stares at his father meaningfully and sits in an arm opposite him. Romano throws his hat on the table and leans forward, grasping his hands together.
ROMANO
I couldn't help notice, you and Jason Morrison have been getting together a lot lately.
Garcia aggressively glances to his son, then back to read his paper.
GARCIA
So?
Romano doesn't react to his Dad's ignorance, but it does not deter him to not change the conversation.
ROMANO
Well, for a man with considerably low morals, like himself and who's been off the radar for a while. I'm surprised you of all people would associate yourself with him.
Garcia does not like his son's assumptions and chucks his newspaper aside. He looks annoyed and may stomp his authority.
GARCIA
You shouldn't stick your nose in, where it's not wanted.
ROMANO
Dad, the man is a loose Canon. Why has he become so important all of a sudden?
GARCIA
Why is it so important to you?
ROMANO
Because, he could be leading you on. We wouldn't want your Empire to crumble to the ground, because of your trust in a waste of space like Morrison.
Garcia is incensed by Romano's remark.
GARCIA
Sarcasm gets you nowhere boy. Watch your tone.
Romano does not back down.
ROMANO
I never thought I'd say this, but if I was to pick an allegiance of either Jason Morrison or William Mcquire, I'd choose the latter.
Garcia laughs sarcastically, wiping is nose.
GARCIA
Yeah and Pigs would fly.
Romano has a serious look on his face.
ROMANO
I'm not joking.
GARCIA
So, of the two people you hate the most, you'd decide to pick an allegiance, if it ever happened?
Well, I don't like William Mcquire.
ROMANO
That's an understatement I know. But, this is a strange act from you.
Garcia frowns, with his head rest in his hand, feeling tiresome and evasive.
GARCIA
Why? Don't you trust me?
Romano holds his hands up in confusion, as to why his father won't tell him, about his business dealings with Jason Morrison.
ROMANO
Then tell me Pa. Why is Morrison so important all of a sudden?
Garcia refuses to buckle and sits silent for a moment. He flicks his finger aggressively towards the door. Hinting for Romano to leave the room.
GARCIA
Go, to New York and secure that deal, you said you were gonna do.
Romano is hurt and grabs his hat. He gets up abruptly and puts his hat on. He walks to the door and opens it's with force. He turns around to face Garcia.
ROMANO
Forgive me Father, but I will get to the bottom of this farce. Of all people.
Garcia picks up his newspaper and not make eye contact with Romano again.
GARCIA
You do that.
Romano appears to be rejected by his father and he storms out, slamming the door behind him.
EXT. CROCETTI MANSION. ROMANO CROCETTI.
Rushes out of the house, buttoning his jacket.
EXT. LIMO DRIVER.
Stands at the rear passenger door and opens it, allowing Romano jump in the back seat.
The driver jumps in the Drivers seat and drives towards the front gate. The front gates open and it drives out, with a support vehicle following on behind, with Security Guards.
