On August 6, 2555, in the Foh System, Rite Galaxy, the UNSC Traveler, a Phoenix-class Space Vehicle was floating in space and the pilot said, "Admiral, the people on the planet down there want to speak with us."

Admiral Chris Crowley said, "Put them through in the conference room."

The pilot asked, "Are you sure?"

Chris answered, "Yes, Rivers. Do it."

Captain Alice Rivers said, "Yessir."

Chris walked to the conference room and then put his hand on the terminal and then they appeared and Chris saw them and said, "You wanted to speak with me."

The unknown said, "You are in Dribeers Territory. To be in our territory, you need to prove yourself, Admiral Chris Crowley."

Chris asked, "How would you like us to prove ourselves?"

They answered, "You will come down to our planet and you will fight one of the Dribeers of our choice. If you win or survive for 4 minutes, we'll see about letting you land on our planet."

Chris said, "You want me to be the one to fight."

They answered, "Yes. We love to watch the Captains of each ship fight. None of them have succeeded in defeating us."

Chris said, "Alright, I can bring some guards with me then, right?"

They answered, "Yes, but if you do lose, they will die. And their deaths will be on your hands."

Chris said, "Good enough. Tell me where to park the ship and I'll face your people."

They said, "Good. I just sent the coordinates to your pilot. Only 2 others can join you."

Chris said, "Understood. Will you be watching us?"

They answered, "Yes we will, human. We love to watch you people fail all of the time."

Chris looked at them and said, "Well, see you soon."

They said, "See you soon."

Chris hung up and said, "Rivers, fly to the coordinates."

Alice said, "Yessir."

Chris said, "Yuzuna, get Rivera and Kobayashi to the Bridge."

The AI of the ship, Yuzuna said, "Yessir."

Yuzuna looked for both of them and saw that they were in the infirmary and said, "Corporal Rivera and Kobayashi, the Admiral would like a word with you on the Bridge."

Corporal Kahoko Kobayashi heard that and said, "It seems that we finally get to land."

The doctor of the ship, Dr. Elizabeth Henry said, "Yep. But if he's only asking for you two, it's not going to be for long."

Corporal William Rivera said, "Well, we're never on any planet for long. Let's see what he wants."

Kahoko said, "I agree."

Elizabeth said, "Good luck. And don't do anything too dangerous now."

They said, "Don't worry about us. We'll be fine."

They walked to the Bridge and saw Chris waiting for them and Chris said, "Thank you for coming. It seems that the residents of the planet that we're headed to are challenging me to a deathmatch."

Kahoko asked, "Why ask for us then?"

Chris answered, "You two will be my bodyguards."

William said, "Oh, we're your personal bodyguards."

Chris said, "For today, yes. But if I do fail to defeat him or survive for 4 minutes, you two will die with me."

Kahoko laughed and said, "It seems that we can't be safe."

Chris said, "Dr. Henry wants you two to be safe, huh. You don't have to come."

William said, "Don't worry about a thing. You'll win."

Chris asked, "What makes you so sure about that?"

Kahoko answered, "You are the strongest magician in the UNSC, correct?"

Chris heard that and Alice said, "Sir, we landed."

Chris said, "Thank you, Rivers. Get your gear on. We don't know if this place has the air that we breathe."

They walked to the equipment room and then a soldier from the Dribeer Empire appeared by the ship and waited for the doors to open and said, "Sir, I'm in position."

The leaders of the Dribeer Empire contacted Alice and said, "Whenever you are ready to let him off. There is a soldier waiting to pick them up. He'll take you to the arena where he'll fight the Dribeer of our choice. He loses, you all will die. Just saying that now."

Alice said, "Don't worry about a thing. They'll be coming. They are just getting their armor on."

They said, "That's right, humans need air to breathe, correct?"

Alice answered, "Yes. Is there no air on this planet?"

They answered, "None whatsoever. But we could live in all environments. And live happily ever after. Also, you dodged the part about death right off the bat. Are you not afraid of death?"

Alice answered, "Not at all, sir. None of us on this ship are afraid of death. If it comes down to it, we'll fight back with the best of our ability."

They heard that and laughed and said, "I'm starting to love you guys. I can't wait to see what your Captain is like. He better be worth it. If he wins or survives for 4 minutes, I'll let you stay on this planet for as long as you need to. But if you try to kill any of our people, we will start a war with humanity and things will get ugly."

Alice said, "Don't worry, we don't plan on harming your race."

Chris appeared and said, "Alice, open up the hatch."

Alice said, "Yessir. They are on their way now sir."

They said, "Good. We'll be waiting for you, Captain."

Chris said, "It's Admiral, not Captain."

They laughed and said, "Really intriguing humans. I love these guys. They are hilarious. Let's get going then. Your opponent will be waiting for you."

They entered the contamination section and then Alice said, "Oh sir, there isn't any air on the planet. So make sure that you don't take your helmet off for any reason."

Chris said, "Sure thing. You heard the lady. No taking helmet off for any reason. We're all gonna die today."

As soon as the contamination sequence was complete, the other side of the hatch opened and then Chris grabbed the stairs and said, "If anyone is down there, please watch out."

He heard that and moved away from the ship and then Chris pushed the stairs down and then walked down them and the soldier looked at them and said, "You humans really are weak."

Chris said, "We know."

He heard that and asked himself, "Why the hell is he agreeing with that statement? Is he an idiot?"

Chris said, "You are the soldier that will be taking us to the arena, correct?"

He answered, "Yes, the name is Ultir. I'll be taking you to the arena now."

Chris said, "Thank you."

Ultir took them to the arena and then the leaders saw them and asked, "Which one of you is Admiral Chris Crowley?"

Chris raised his hand and stepped forward and then said, "That would be me."

They said, "We should have known that. Your armor is far more advanced than theirs."

Chris said, "Not really, this armor that I'm wearing is First Generation armor from 2430. That armor is Twentieth Generation armor from 2550. Mine just looks better. That's all there is to it."

They started laughing and said, "You are hilarious. But this isn't a joke."

Chris said, "I'm not smiling, sir."

They heard that and asked, "Is that so?"

Chris said, "Yes it is. Now, let's get this match over with. I want to go relax in my hottub now."

Kahoko asked, "Why don't you ever take any of the situations seriously?"

William said, "That wouldn't be right for him then. He'll be a nobody if he wasn't like that."

Kahoko said, "Really?"

William answered, "Yeah, you know nothing about it, but he was once a nobody."

Chris said, "Stop talking about my past ladies. Let's just say that I was once a nobody and now I proved those assholes wrong."

They heard that and then screeched and the leaders said, "General Rivettee, fight him."

Rivettee walked into the ring and said, "Please step into the ring, human."

Chris entered the ring and then a barrier appeared and Kahoko said, "Oh, that's smart."

William asked, "Why do you say that?"

Kahoko answered, "It keeps everyone else out, so they can't interfere with the match. Am I right, sir?"

They answered, "Yes, you are exactly right, human. I'm surprised that you know about that."

Kahoko said, "We humans use a barrier as well. But not as strong as this one though."

They said, "This is new technology. Of course we'd be prepared for attackers. And we've seen plenty of other species trying to interfere so that they wouldn't die. But always failed. So we had to get a barrier, like you said."

Chris said, "It's well made in fact. Made by yourselves, correct?"

They said, "Impressive Admiral. You really are smart."

Chris said, "Not at all. I've hit my head so many times that I just pretend to be smart now."

They said, "Well, let the match begin then."

Rivettee smiled and then said, "Let's get this over with. Are you prepared to die?"

Chris answered, "Yes I am."

Everyone heard that and then Rivettee charged toward him and Chris stood still and Rivettee swung at him, but Chris caught his fist and Rivettee saw that and said, "Hm, you really are a strong one."

Chris asked, "Why do you say that?"

Rivettee answered, "No one has ever withstood that punch before. They tried catching it, but it flew right through their hands."

Chris said, "Well, I'm not like any of the other species. I'm a human that doesn't give a damn about how others fight."

He screeched and then Chris pushed him back and then Rivettee smiled and jumped back and then said, "Let's see if you can handle this."

He put his hands together and then punched the ground and the ground started to explode and then Chris turned around and everyone saw that and then Chris climbed the barrier and everyone saw that and then Chris jumped off and appeared behind him and then Rivettee turned around and then Chris disappeared and Rivettee appeared on the ground and Chris was on top of him and then he walked away and Rivettee turned over and said, "Shit, this guy is strong. And he's fast."

The leaders looked at him and then Rivettee stood up and then ran toward him and then Chris heard his footsteps and then lifted his foot up and everyone saw that and asked, "What is he going to do?"

Kahoko said, "Oh, he's going to use 'that'."

William said, "Always does. Nobody likes us humans."

Chris stomped his foot into the ground and the ground started to shake and everyone felt that and then they started to lose their footing and collapsed and the leaders asked, "What the hell was that?"

Chris answered, "That was an earthquake. Making the ground shake is what they call an earthquake back on Earth. But it could be a tremor as well."

They said, "I see. That was scary."

Rivettee was on the ground and looked at him and then asked, "How the hell are you so strong?"

Chris answered, "Lots of practice and defeating strong people is what I do."

Rivettee heard that and then Chris walked over to the barrier and went to tap it, but there wasn't anything to tap and said, "Oh, the barrier is gone. Hahahahaha. My bad."

They looked at him and yelled, "He's not human."

Rivettee stood up again and then took off and then Chris looked at his arm and said, "It's only been 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Shit, time sure goes by slow."

Rivettee stopped in front of him and then headbutted him and Chris moved back a little and then walked back toward him and kicked his face and they both collapsed and then waited for them to get back up and then the leaders looked at Chris and then said, "Hm, this human is interesting. He let himself get hit so it wouldn't make him look bad."

Chris stood up and then Rivettee grabbed his leg and pulled him down and then bent his leg back and sat on it and then put his hands in front of his helmet and brought it back and then Kahoko said, "You got only 5 more seconds, sir. You can hold out."

Chris said, "Man, I haven't felt pain like this in years."

The leaders said to themselves, "If he taps out. They all die. He really isn't strong. Tap like every other human that came to this land."

William looked at the timer and said, "2."

Rivettee put a lot more pressure on his neck and Chris screamed and then Kahoko said, "1."

Chris yelled, "I will not tap. And I will not die."

The leaders said, "It's over. Stop the attack."

Rivettee let go of him and then Chris laid there and then Rivettee looked at Chris and said, "You fought well. But you would have lost to me if he didn't stop me."

Chris stood up and then looked at him and said, "I wasn't trying to stop the hold."

Rivettee heard that and looked back on it and said, "Wait, you are telling me that you wanted to feel pain."

Chris answered, "Yes. Something that I haven't felt in years. Everyone isn't strong enough to fight me. I've defeated a lot of races, and they all look down on us in the beginning. But I never lose. Keep that in mind."

He walked over to the leaders and they said, "That was a magnificent match. Come on inside. We'll talk more in there."

Chris said, "Yessir."

2: Learning About the Dribeers

The leaders said, "It's over. Stop the attack."

Rivettee let go of him and then Chris laid there and then Rivettee looked at Chris and said, "You fought well. But you would have lost to me if he didn't stop me."

Chris stood up and then looked at him and said, "I wasn't trying to stop the hold."

Rivettee heard that and looked back on it and said, "Wait, you are telling me that you wanted to feel pain."

Chris answered, "Yes. Something that I haven't felt in years. Everyone isn't strong enough to fight me. I've defeated a lot of races, and they all look down on us in the beginning. But I never lose. Keep that in mind."

He walked over to the leaders and they said, "That was a magnificent match. Come on inside. We'll talk more in there."

Chris said, "Yessir."

Chris entered the building and then the leaders followed and Chris said, "Have a nice long chat with them out there."

Kahoko said, "You gotta be kidding me."

William said, "Sir, we're extremely small compared to them."

Chris said, "And? We're short. Deal with it."

They heard that and said, "Yessir."

The leaders closed the doors and then said, "You could take your helmet off. The buildings are the only place on this planet that has air."

Chris took his helmet off and then breathed the air in and said, "Oh, you're right. They're missing out on some good air."

They laughed and said, "I know. Have a seat and we'll introduce ourselves to you."

Chris heard that and asked, "Where should I sit exactly? Or do you people always sit on the floor?"

They heard that and said, "Oh, hold up."

Chris heard that and then they snapped their fingers and the furniture appeared and Chris said, "Oh, your furniture was camouflaged."

They said, "Not at all, human. We took them out of the building because we never had any company for long. No lasted 10 seconds against Rivettee. But you went 4 minutes. You probably could have went longer."

Chris said, "I could have finished him off in 2 seconds. But I'm not that evil, sir."

They heard that and asked, "How would you be capable of doing that exactly?"

Chris took his weapon out and answered, "This baby has kept me alive for years. Let's just say, I'm the oldest human alive because of this baby."

They looked at him and then Chris took a seat and said, "So, that is."

Chris answered, "Oh, this is a magic weapon that I created in 2050. I am 522 years old. But no one knows that except for me. I hide that fact from the universe because they treat me like a nobody. And still do."

They sat down and said, "I see. So, what are you and your people called?"

Chris answered, "Oh, they are nobodies like myself. Found them on colonies that were about to execute them, rape them, attack them, etc. I took them in under my wing and we are now known as the Travelers. And our ship has a nice name to it as well. The UNSC Traveler. One hell of a name, right?"

They said, "Indeed. It fits your cause. But why travel?"

Chris heard that and asked, "Why not? Traveling is amazing. Meeting new species. Meeting humans that are like myself. Looking at the new landscapes. It's all very exciting. Even if you have to fight to get what you want, I love it all."

They smiled and said, "Alright, let's begin with the introductions."

Chris said, "Let's do that."

The one all the way at the left, Kelipir said, "I am Prophet Kelipir, the oldest one here. 521 years old. You are older than me, damn human."

Chris said, "Well, humans normally have a life efficiency of 80 years old or so. So I'm different. I'm what you call immortal."

The one all the way at the right, Leslifite said, "I'm Lady Leslifite, the only female that has power in the Dribeer Empire. Also, I'm 200 years old and is the youngest of the 3 leaders."

Chris said, "You are very good looking for a 200 year old female."

Lady Leslifite said, "Thank you Admiral."

The one in the middle of Prophet Kelipir and Lady Leslifite, Gripiret said, "I am Lord Gripiret, the one in the middle. I'm currently known as the strongest on this planet. I don't know about this old geezer, but I think humanity is amazing. I am also 350 years old. Nice to meet you, human."

Chris said, "Likewise. I'm Admiral Chris Crowley of the UNSC. A man that really doesn't care about anything except for his crew, and traveling."

Lady Leslifite said, "I see. You truly are a fascinating one."

Prophet Kelipir asked, "Why don't we give you a little something known as knowledge about our race."

Chris said, "I was just about to ask something, but you are probably going to answer it."

Prophet Kelipir said, "You are wondering how long we've been active?"

Chris said, "Active meaning existent, then yes."

Lady Leslifite said, "Our race, the Dribeers, have been around for twenty million years. We've been protecting this planet as our homeworld. And we never seem to lose a war."

Lord Gripiret said, "About 1,000 years ago, we were very close to defeat. I think that the enemy was the Kelinauts."

Prophet Kelipir said, "It was the Reapers. They were a very dangerous race at the time. They were known as the strongest species in the universe. The Kelinauts was the war after that which took a month to end."

Chris said, "Damn. Were the Kelinauts that weak."

Lady Leslifite answered, "Yes actually. That was our 5th encounter with them, correct?"

Lord Gripiret answered, "No, it was the 6th war with them."

Prophet Kelipir said, "Wrong, that was the 10th war against the Kelinauts. They are actually expanding a lot faster than we anticipated. They've been trying to take us out for over 40,000 years. And the last war against them was 120 years ago. Lady Leslifite was one of the Supreme Commanders at the time."

Lady Leslifite said, "I know. I loved that war. That's what gave me the right to be a leader. And take over the now deceased Prophet Tiklafka."

Chris said, "That's all you care about. Taking over his position."

Lady Leslifite said, "I'm afraid so."

Chris said, "You said they they expand faster than you anticipated. How do you think that's even possible?"

Lord Gripiret answered, "We believe that they are capable of giving birth to more than one baby at a time like us and you humans. Sometimes we could have twins or triplets, but they get those shits every time. That's what we believe."

Prophet Kelipir said, "We're a race that has been close to extinction 40 times, human."

Chris said, "40 times. Wow, that's actually amazing."

Prophet Kelipir said, "We know. We have been in over 70,000 wars and won them all. We never back down from a fight. We may lose men, but we always regain hope."

Chris smiled and said, "Sir, that's how it should be. In war, you always lose men. But when you lose men, you need to regain hope to continue fighting. Even if you lost someone important to you, you must get over it and continue fighting for their sake. You die in battle, that just means that you fought with honor and fought for your land, your home, your country, and your world. That is what war is all about."

They heard that and said, "You've been in a lot of wars, it seems. Have you ever lost a war?"

Chris answered, "We members of the UNSC haven't lost since we formed. And we Travelers haven't met an enemy that we can't defeat. But before the UNSC was formed, I was only a regular soldier at the time and I lost the Battle of Los Angeles. It was a tough battle."

Lady Leslifite said, "Well you were just a beginner back then. So that's to be expected."

Chris said, "Yes. It was my first battle actually. After graduating from a military academy, I went straight into the military. I was put right into the Battle of Los Angeles as my first assignment."

Lord Gripiret said, "Must have been tough for you."

Chris said, "A loss in my record ruined my reputation that I gained in the military academy and high school which was getting me prepared for the academy. Of course it pissed me off. I literally killed one of my own friends accidentally because of it."

They said, "Yep, you had it rough. Sad indeed. Sorry to hear that."

Prophet Kelipir said, "You seem to be different from the last batch of humans that came here."

Chris said, "Not all humans are like us Travelers, sir. I handpicked these men myself. The UNSC chooses their men by academy scores. The best go to the best ships and the worst go to the worst ships. I am one of the best in the UNSC and they can't afford to lose me. Or they would have ended up extinct years ago."

Lord Gripiret said, "Oh, who almost wiped out your race, huh?"

Chris answered, "The Lyzratis. They were a real pain in the ass."

Lord Gripiret said, "So true."

Lady Leslifite said, "They were strong."

Prophet Kelipir said, "They were one of forty times that we almost went extinct."

Chris heard that and said, "I see. You fought hard and well to work things out."

A Dribeer appeared by the door and knocked on it.

3: Space Pirates Appear

The 4 of them looked at the door and Lord Gripiret said, "Don't worry about the helmet. There's a bubble in here that'll protect you."

Chris said, "Oh. Alright."

Prophet Kelipir said, "Come on in."

The Dribeer opened the door and walked in and said, "Sorry for interrupting, but there is a spaceship out there in space."

Lady Leslifite asked, "What type of ship?"

Chris looked at him and the Dribeer answered, "Unknown. Here is what we got from the satellite circling our planet."

An image of a ship appeared and then they looked at it and the Dribeer said, "This is all we know about it. It's a Demon-class Aircraft."

Chris heard that and then Lady Leslifite asked, "What do you think?"

Prophet Kelipir answered, "According to my knowledge of Demon-class Aircrafts, they are used by Space Pirates, am I right?"

Chris answered, "Yes. The Space Pirates as you may already know, love to attack spacecrafts in space and raiding planets to steal from them. If they are here, they are probably after your resources of my ship."

Alice said, "Sir, it's Rivers."

Chris said, "Yeah. I hear you."

Alice said, "The data we just got from the Dribeers are accurate. This is the Yamashita Omega Rica, the Demon-class Aircraft that has been following us for awhile."

Chris said, "The Yamashita Omega Rica? Do you know what they are after, Rivers?"

Alice answered, "Unknown. But they are flying slowly in space. They want something that's around here."

Chris said, "I see. Keep in touch."

Alice said, "Yessir."

Lady Leslifite said, "The Yamashita Omega Rica, huh. They are a pretty bad Space Pirate group."

Lord Gripiret asked, "How do you know that?"

Prophet Kelipir put the news on the screen and said, "Hm, the Yamashita Omega Rica are after bigger prey. The Captain of the Yamashita Omega Rica, Robert Forlonge is after the strongest magician in the UNSC, Admiral Chris Crowley."

Lady Leslifite said, "Taking out the UNSC Prowler was step one in dominating space. Taking out the UNSC's mad man is key to taking the space area."

Lord Gripiret said, "Robert has been following the Travelers that have been traveling to planets all over the universe. Admiral Crowley has brought a total of 500 species to our side and has successfully made contact with the Kelinauts and saved Earth. If humanity lost Earth, the UNSC would collapse and Admiral Crowley's rally would be for nothing."

The Dribeer said, "Another member of Yamashita Omega Rica, Lilian Graves is after Admiral Crowley's life because he killed her big brother in the Battle of Trowley Cut."

Chris looked at the news and said, "Admiral Crowley doesn't listen to the UNSC, so giving him orders will be pointless. To locate him, you'll have to be a very strong magician with sensory magic. Not even the Kelinauts stood a chance against the Travelers. What makes the Space Pirates think that they stand a chance against a group of monsters?"

Lord Gripiret said, "It seems that they are after your head."

Chris sighed and said, "Man, all the good shit happens while I'm gone. Yeah, the war against the Kelinauts just ended a couple days ago."

Prophet Kelipir said, "Oh, you ended the war."

Chris said, "Yes, we ended the war. But, like you mentioned before, they'll attack again. Unknown when, but they will."

Lady Leslifite asked, "Why does the Captain want you dead?"

Chris answered, "To become the strongest, I believe."

Lord Gripiret asked, "Are you going to go easy on him, like you did with Rivettee?"

Chris answered, "I don't like being targeted sir. So I'm afraid that death is his only option."

The Dribeer said, "Sir, why do you fight exactly?"

Chris smiled and answered, "To get stronger."

Prophet Kelipir said, "Supreme Commander Gillirda, meet the strongest magician in the UNSC. If they do attack on our turf, we must not let them live."

Gillirda heard that and said, "You are Admiral Chris Crowley, you are famous."

Chris said, "I know."

The news disappeared and then Robert's body appeared and said, "Hello UNSC Traveler. We members of the Yamashita Omega Rica have been watching you advance for far too long. Trying to make another ally for the UNSC. Well, say farewell to them because your era ends now. We will land, we will kill, and we will prevail as the strongest magicians in the universe. Hahahahaha. And if you don't believe me, then let's settle things already. I've been watching for way too long. It's time to end this now."

Alice asked, "Did you get that, sir?"

Chris answered, "Yes, I believe that it was played all over this world. Wherever we are that is."

Prophet Kelipir said, "Oh yes, welcome to Dribeernia, our homeworld."

Chris said, "Dribeernia. Rivers, get everyone dressed in their armor. They have challenged us and are pissing me off."

Alice said, "Understood, sir. Yuzuna, tell everyone to gear up."

Lord Gripiret said, "Gillirda, you will get as many soldiers as you can and you'll help the humans out, correct?"

Lady Leslifite answered, "Yep, can't allow this man to die with his crew now. He's got a lot more things to accomplish."

Prophet Kelipir said, "Get as many as you can and meet them at Maruti Canyon where the battle will take place."

Gillirda said, "Yessir."

He took off and then Prophet Kelipir sent him the map data and said, "There you go. That'll tell you where to go. Good luck now."

Lady Leslifite said, "When you are done with this battle of yours, come back. We'll talk more."

Lord Gripiret said, "Agreed. Plus, I bet that you'll like what we have to talk about."

Chris said, "I bet that I will."

Chris put his helmet back on and said, "Here I go."

He walked out of the building and said, "Rivera, Kobayashi, let's go. We get to go to war."

Kahoko said, "That Space Pirate really got to your head."

William said, "Of course he did. He wants to kill him. We're all behind you, sir."

Kahoko said, "We'll support you anywhere you go."

Chris smiled and said, "After this planet, I think that I might try something a little different."

Kahoko heard that and William asked, "What type of difference?"

Chris answered, "We'll be going to a human colony."

They said, "Oh. Let's go then."

They walked toward their ship and then as soon as they saw the ship, Chris said, "Rivers, it's time. Get every soldier to move out of the Traveler."

Alice said, "We're already a step ahead of you."

They started appearing from the other end of the ship and then Chris smiled and Kahoko asked, "Are you ready, sir?"

Chris said, "Follow me to the coordinates that I've been given, but before we do that, is Yuzuna with us?"

Yuzuna answered, "Yes. I'm here with you all."

Chris said, "Good. Let's go then."

They started walking toward Maruti Canyon and then the Yamashita Omega Rica pilot, Gemma Violet said, "I found him, sir. He's not hiding at all. He's getting prepared for war."

Robert laughed and said, "Follow him."

Gemma said, "Yessir."

She flew the ship toward Maruti Canyon and then Gillirda and her people were there already and said, "Hm, you have a small army. How in the world did you defeat the Kelinauts with that many people?"
