Snow and Almonds

Yay, FE:A one shot time!

This story is post ID (Purpose), so it happens as a deleted pretend scene before he escapes Ylisse.

Oh and don't get confused with the real Earth and the Earth-like planet Mira cuz because they all have name changes and I'm pretty sure reality and fantasy don't mix, so that would be heckingly weird if we both planets merged and I really got to know that the characters whom I really like are REAL! xD

Yup, that's my crazy imagination thrown right at ya.

Meh, don't know why but I just found something in the white haired tactician that none of the other characters have.

Not even Satan Demyx from Kingdom Hearts- stay away from him. I warn you. He may look childish and nice on the outside but it's his Nobody heart that is true evil.

*shivers* Always get goosebumps when he's turned evil (Demyx, not Robin of course!)

And yes, our tactician is paraplegian before he made his escape to Virginia Beach.

Enjoy.

"If you can't walk, you crawl, and if you can't crawl, you find someone to carry you :("

- one of the characters whom I am extremely  clueless about, says this quote from the Firefly TV series.

"C'mon mom! Let's go!" soccer cleats crackled against the marble floor of our apartment (20,000 for such a tiny cage) as my brother kept pacing back and forth, I-phone 6 plus in hand, fingers rapidly flashing across the screen, a smile playing on his lips, breaking into a chuckle as he received the ever sweet reply from his wife, Esther.

"Coming! One minute!" my mom called back as she swept back into the kitchen to grab a box of Capri-Sun, then hoist her black jacket in hand.

I sighed towards my typical day in Switzerland.

The country I was born in, the country which I really started displeasing A LOT.

Too much reasons to name because all of them sounded like hell for a citizen. Even for a foreigner, belive it or not.

"Okay let's go." my mom grabbed her I-phone 6 plus wrapped in a white Celly jacket, opening the front door that led to the stairs three floors down.

With a mini fog colored Fjallraven Kanken adorning my back, I slipped my earpods and I-phone 4s into the pockets of my blue blader jacket, because just for the heck of it, I liked to show everyone that I was a Beyblader.

The only sport I liked to play next to Table Tennis.

"I don't wanna get late. What got you left behind?" my brother insisted my mom while he scrolled through his Facebook news feed, finding all of the hate comments he was getting posted underneath a political party group.

"I nearly forgot the phone." my mom replied in annoyance as she jiggled the keys and offered me to drive.

Don't get me wrong. I can drive but not in tiny narrow streets like these. While I lived those 12 years in Florida before moving back to my 'home' country, I almost wanted let my mouth go agape to what I nearly did. It was risky but worth saving our Civic from a totaled wreck.

Braking behind a blue trash truck and glancing at the left traffic moving forward (it was split into two lanes), I almost didn't know whether to stop completely or keep going.

I felt completely stupid but I bravely took the risk and squeezed the car between the truck AND the moving traffic, the body and white paint completely unscathed.

My parents almost died when they saw me attempt such a miracolus and superb driving right there.

Even my brother couldn't attempt to do that.

Angry raves were thrown to my ears but after trembling with awe, I calmed down and felt proud of my driving.

My parents later disregarded the risky moment and accepted it as the most amazing thing I have ever done.

"Nah, I think I'll just study my driving for now." I purposely lied, letting my parents belive that I truly need more studying time even though I didn't have to take a driving test and I completed my two courses with flying colors.

"As you say so."

~X~

We were halfway to our destination a small middle school of business and technology was located right next to the train tracks where I looked at trains for fun because one track in Florida felt a little boring for me so that's why I suddenly felt to be a huge fan of trains.

Until the nightmare came back and I wanted to curse those snotty apartment people for calling on me, thinking that I was a robber from France. The police who were dressed in normal civil uniforms approached me like I was a criminal for them.

Innocent as I was, I began to dash off as if they were bad people.

Not only they caught my arm, but they also threw meaningless questions towards my face, wanting to know if I held my ID at all times.

But it was that day that I forgot and in the end they didn't apologize.

Hurrah for their excellent service to protect citizens of this templaristic country.

Sighing, my eyes spotted a row of cars in front of the Peuegot dealership, boredly listening to the European radio while my brother informed his wife was coming tonight for a 3 day stay.

"She took the train at 7. Arriving at 10."

"Ah, okay." my mom replied as she drove down St.Jakobs-strasse, taking a right before yielding to a green BVB tram to exchange it's passengers onboard.

5 drops of water struck the windshield as I almost sighed in frustration, car parallel parked against the curb.

I pretty much didn't mind the rain as long as I stayed dry.

Getting wet through the hard beats of water slamming around you was pure hell.

But thankfully, it only drizzled as drops danced off of my Sam's black bangs, his Ocala Stampede backpack adorned his back while jogging ahead, joining his friends into a little pick up soccer.

Staying in the car, I huffed, glancing through the rain dotted window to see mom holding a ruby red umbrella, offering me to step out with my own black and white striped umbrella.

Rolling my eyes in annoyance, I accepted the scene and just for mom's sake, I stepped out, feeling the coldy mist air flow through my heated body in sudden change of body temperature.

A yellow BLT city bus crossed my path before me and my mom got an opportunity to reach the pathway that led to the school's open patio gapway that directly led to the soccerfields in view.

"Alright. I'm going. Call me if you need anything or we play together." my mom held the umbrella Mary Poppins style, politely waiting for an answer.

Me, running around in this light drizzle?

With my favourite brown Nike airs getting wet to the fringe?

No cold feet for me, miss.

I'd prefer myself dry than go out into the cold shower.

Walking around the large open area thankfully roofed in flat with tube lights that flickered to life, I spotted a chained up picnic table and took a seat, taking my Kanken bag off while zipping it open, digging in random stuff because I was hellishly bored.

Giving up with a sigh, I almost wanted to resume on catching up to my brother's soccer game when I spotted a lone black trash bag, limped over to one side infront of the metallic stairs while a wooden angle broom leaned against the railing next to the billboards filled with useless school info and events.

Tapping my fingers in boredom, I carefully watched my mom circle the field once before clapping to my brother's successful goal- a kick to the right upper corner.

With my feelings still angered at the sight of a wet field and the rest of the rain water pouring through the gutters, my ears caught a distant cruise of perhaps some vehicle strangely arriving here for some sore purpose of I don't know what.

Ignoring it, my eyes were so focused on a bunch of people passing a ball back and forth, I didn't care to realize who even arrived here.

But one glance towards the vehicle, I almost shrugged, finding it normal for a white minivan to carelessly run over the trash bag infront, the driver spat out a curse and backed up a bit, finding a hole torn into the fabric, an avalanche of raked leaves to splatter out into the open concrete.

With the driver's door opened, I continued to stare and think why he was extremely upset at his driving mistake.

Then my heart dropped in shocking awe.

Right inside the driver's seat of the 2007 Volkswagen Touran was a white haired boy a little older than me (I'm 19), silence ensuing around him as he slapped his leg in frustration and pulled lightly at his hair.

Cocking my head in a confused fashion, I knew who this guy was. But I wasn't gonna purposely say his name like I already know him.

Just pretend he's my first stranger. I never met him.

He gave out a huge huff as he slowly slid to the ground, using his arms and upper body to slither towards the rear of the vehicle, hand on the liftgate to swing it open.

Being the faithful girl I was, I slowly walked towards him, smiling while stuttering, "Do you need some help?"

Breathe. Just act as if you don't know him.

The boy held up his hand towards the object currently strapped to the floorboards of the car.

Leaning in for a closer view, my heart almost flipped over in shock.

It was a lightweight standard wheelchair, the quotes on the thin spokes already mentally punching me in the face.

"Um." the boy continued to stare at me, his almond brown eyes now in need of the chair.

There was something so different about him.

"Oh right." Chuckling while feeling a wave of embarrassment redden my cheeks, I carefully unhooked the straps and clutched the heavy object, wheels lightly spinning mid air before it touched the ground. "I was about to call 911 for your info."

"Thanks." Standing up with difficulty, I rushed in and grabbed his body, carefully setting him on the chair before attempting to finish securing his legs. A hand beat me to it in silence. "Let me."

"Alright." Swallowing in confusion, I almost wanted to let my mouth go agape in awe.

How in the world of planet Mira did he get hurt!?

A car accident?

No, they towed his black Touran and sold it to an AJRAnian asshole.

Sports?

He rarely played sports-even while watching Lucina and Shulk play soccer, they offered him to join but he never did.

Then it occurred to me.

I basically made him suffer like this because I was the author of ID (Purpose)! Letting him experience a wild adventure of stealing money from a grocery store, flee from the police, turn into a homeless criminal when he finally faced jail time as a.....

Paraplegian

Stumped at the thought on how he got the money back, I glanced back at him currently reaching down to pick up the bag was practically not a good idea since his spine was not supposed to move at any rate.

It was supposed to be stiff at a position according to the alu rod support they placed in to make his spine straighten from the injury.

My loud footsteps caught his attention as he nearly dropped the bag filled with collected leaves. Whining softly, he bit back a kind complaint, "I was almost done you know."

"Sorry to disturb you but I wanted to tell you that bending down like that is not good for you spine. Infact-" Kicking the pole to the broom, the tool now spun between my hands as I unleashed a smirk, "Need any help?"

Blinking in thought, he almost shook his head and smiled, "Actually, I can take care of my job. I'm average paid you know."

"Oh." That got me panged with guilt as I took my time watching him for a few minutes, wheeling forward to sweep the rest of the leaves back in the fish mouthed bag.

I didn't wanna piss him off but I just felt as if he needed a helping hand.

Without his notice, I kneeled down and expanded the gap of the bag, raising an eyebrow in confusion on how he possibly uses one hand to move around while using the other to control the sweeper.

Sweeping in the rest of the leaves in the bag, he chuckled and assured, "It's fine. I can take care of it myself."

"No problem at all. I just felt bored so." I spent the next 2 minutes watching him tie the bag in a tight knot before reaching in the side of his chair to catch some thirst. Finishing off the bottle with a refreshing gulp before giving out a tiny burp, he then began to question me in curiosity, "So, are you a student here? Alone? Roomates?"

"Oh uh-" my attention was hogged on my brother's soccer game, I didn't notice his kind patience of starting up a conversation, "Well, I'm just here with my mom and brother. My brother's playing soccer over there, just for your info."

"I see." we both watched the game in silence when he spoke again, "You know? Thanks for helping me earlier about the leaves. Care to tell me your name?"

"Tabitha." holding out a hand, he shook it gently.

"Robin."

Cringing at the name, my lips curled into a quiver.

Omg, just stay calm and don't blurt out the truth.

"Named after the bird huh?"

"Yup."

Sighing, I glanced back at his Touran, peacefully standing there with the tied up trash bag on the roof.

Why is the stupid car still white? Shouldn't I have changed it's color by now?

Stomping my foot lightly while huffing, I almost said it loud enough for Robin to hear, "Darn, I could have changed it's color!"

"Change what?" Wheeling around to face me, that smile wanted to know more.

Staying calm, I continued to act like he was my perfect stranger. But then again.....

"Uh nothing." Blushing in embarrassment, I quickly changed the subject, "My dog couldn't stop wagging his tail due to Qualipet day!"

"Sounds odd but alright. What brings you to AJRA?"

Oh no. What should I say? Switzerland or AJRA? Just flow into the world.

But before I could answer his question in which almost everyone in Switzerland asks, the rain poured in hard, a good 15 minutes of showering my brother and the rest of his soccer friends before returning to it's light drizzle.

I huffed in disgust, "You're so lucky to not get your feet wet! I mean look at me, I have to get that cold on my toes."

"It should be opposite." Wheeling towards his Touran, Robin proceeded to open the liftgate to place back his helpful transport tool. "You're lucky you can walk in the rain, I'm gonna stay like this forever."

Unhooking the straps that secured his legs, I placed a protective hand around his leg, "Don't say that!"

A jolt of surprise caused him to face me with a mouthed How?

"Uh.... there is still hope. We just have to see."

"You got that from Lucina didn't you?" Standing up with difficulty, he held strongly on the side of the vehicle in prevention from himself falling over.

"Who's Lucina?" I purposely replied, lifting his wheelchair on the floor boards and re-securing the straps with ease.

"She's an AweSomE cast member and friend of mine at school." Dropping slowly to the ground, Robin crawled in difficulty towards the driver's side, where I immediately opened it at his aid, muttering a thanks in return before resuming our talk.

"Don't forget princess." I snickered.

"What was that?"

"Oh no, nothing." I smiled, feeling a rush of cold wind assault my body. "It's getting cold. Mind if I sit in your car for awhile?"

The car that you purposely stole for emergency.

ID (Purpose)

"Sure. I don't mind. Not gonna leave short."

Oh thank you Robin! You're just the best!

Excited, I joined him opposite in the co-driver's seat, closing the door in comfort while he adjusted the heating.

"When's the game finished? I don't want your mom to be looking for you." Concern glinting in his eyes, Robin sighed and patiently waited for an answer.

"Nah, give them time. My brother usually arrives late from a soccer game wet or dry."

Chuckling, he nodded in understanding, "Shulk and Lucina are pretty much the same. No differences pointed out between the two."

"Really?" I acted as if this was a surprising news to me.

"Yeah. Call them soccer fanatics. How do you explain the massive field behind our mansion?"

Cuz I was the one who added that there!

"Um, actually, what an amazing addition to your huge house! Golly, the AweSomE cast sounds fun to join!" Biting my lip in glee, I continued to study him.

He was not at all pushy from the start nor he was ignorant towards me.

There was something truly special about him.

Humble at heart, innocent face, kind spirit.

It was almost as if he was a true friend of mine.

"Something wrong?" Robin cocked his head to the side like a confused puppy.

At least for a Paraplegian he is a true friend at heart, not unlike the bastard Chrom.

"No nothing. Just thoughts." we laughed softly in sync, Robin humming to himself absentmindedly as if there was a problem.

"So, I heard you're disabled from a spinal injury, am I correct?"

Sighing, he shook his head while a tear softly trickled down his cheek, sleeve already clearing it's path, "I don't wanna talk about it. Deeply sorry to say that."

Lol, cuz I wrote about your nightmare, that's why.

Sniffling, he continued, "But it's called Paraplegia, a spinal cord injury which gets your legs or the rest of your body to be permanently paralyzed." Lifting his shirt, I saw some sloppy ink (A1 LEVEL INJURY INCOMPLETE) written across his waist, perhaps hospital writing for sure, "I'm at the A1 category which is incomplete hence my nervous spine to refuse to respond signals from my brain. Don't worry. My legs are just in paralysis and not the rest of my body otherwise Quadriplegia for me."

My heart sank down by listening to this, I was not sure if I should actually bother him into this topic or not since he amazingly continued his escape as a paraplegian.

Sniffling, I dug into my Kanken to pull out a tissue.

Brown eyes concerned, Robin halted himself and placed a hand around my shoulder, "Should I stop?"

I shook my head, "No go on. I would like to hear more of your story."

Lol,it's so exciting to hear your own ideas told from the character itself.

Sighing, he continued, "Yeah so, my friend Douche and my wife Cia-"

Silently snickering, I almost laughed in my heart.

"- are my official caretakers. They pretty much come often for my aid, helping me with personal stuff that I pretty much can't really do anything like a normal being."

I almost stopped myself from crying silently and purposely took his tactician robe and blew my nose into it with happiness.

I handed it back to him, the edges of the coat dripping wet.

Blinking awkwardly, Robin accepted the scene, "Um, I don't mind you using my tactician robe for that purpose."

"Is it really made in China? Hey, I blew my nose into that thing, I should be a millionaire by now. Is this really 1775 AG (After Grima) stuff right here?" I peeked at the tag which read "Tactical Wear" for "Tactical Wear" while "Made in Ylisse" was written in the bottom.

"Don't bother about it for now." carefully removing his robe from my hands, Robin smiled and draped the robe on the Electrolux vacuum before settling back in comfort, absentmindedly passing wind after an exhale.

Don't get me wrong. Not only that he stayed in the Cute Toot House before he moved to the Hot Topic Krew got me thinking that he still inherited a little flatulence powers given from the gassy goddess herself, Flatulena.

But it was normal for everyone to do that, so my face had scrunched up into a lot of understanding for him.

Scratching my nose in concern, I continued to dig out more of his life as a Paraplegian, "So, like how do you go to the BATHROOM or drive your Touran around Ylisse?"

Oh golly. Perhaps two questions got him into a hesitant decision. I shouldn't have done that.

Biting his lip with a sigh, he faced me with a normal expression of happiness, "Oh I have these two handle things that fold out from the wall and I use that to support myself while standing or sitting down on the toilet. Why ask?"

I shrugged, spotting a curious bird speed trotting across the campus, "Dunno. Just curious and concerned."

He chuckled, "It's fine."

For the second question, I spotted the steering wheel glued with a video game controller?

A Wii U gamepad more like it.

I almost scoffed in surprise, "Is that how you drive? You know this is not Mario Kart 8 by the way."

"Both of the pedals are disabled so the VW garage tweaked my Touran into responding to the controls of this Wii U gamepad I found at HIOB." Turning it on, my eyes widened in awe.

The screen instead ditched out the Menu and instead displayed the speedometer along with other features such as blindspot lane warnings, fuel tank, and the engine heat.

"Dude, I wish I had this in my Prius."

Hesitating to reply, he shook his head while biting back a choke of sadness, "I also own a Prius too, but it was dead during the Smash Wars."

"I've heard of it before." I nodded in interest, silently flipping my heart in summersaults at the mention of Smash Wars cuz I was the creator of it! xD

"Yeah, it was a pain in the butt to plant our team flags all across Future Europe, search for two of the stupid mall stores that Shulk and Dark Pit were dying about and protect Aquila from Templar Knights' Oktagon enemies."

"And that's why you needed Migros as your last resort." I added in with a sigh, but he caught my words.

"What was that?"

"Oh no, nothing. Just me and my crazy brain, heh." I truly niched my eyebrows in a worried expression as if I felt extremely bad for him.

But those brown almond eyes didn't get hurt or offended as to what I had just said.

Talk about the truth, he doesn't realize he's dealing with the author! Now this is something worth considering!

"I don't mind it." his mind then urged him to finish the explanation on how he drove with a gamepad.

Glancing behind him as if the police were there to greet him the second time, he blinked several times in confusion before asking, "It looks like they're into another game- oh the soccer heads have arrived just now."

Squinting my eyes, I could make out a blonde haired hom along with a blue haired princess.

No way. They were here too!

How would Sam react to this!?

He was hot on Smash Bros 24/7 so I expect his heart to flip over in disbelief.

Darn, I can't wait to see his reaction.

Wait, why is my mom heading towards them?

Question?

Invitation for the soccer game, perhaps?

"Two more spots are available to play." my mom informed them while they shivered through the freezing rain.

"Thanks, we can wait." Shulk smiled as he watched the opposing team struggle to get pass my brother.

Oh, mom. Please don't ask them where they come from!

She was always like that with so many people.

"Where are you guys from?"

"Well, I'm from Ylisse while Shulk here's from Bionis." Lucina informed while she juggled the ball from foot to foot, not missing a beat.

"Uh-huh." my mom just nodded while she was urged to ask where those locations came from.

Argh! I couldn't take this anymore!

Opening the door, I was about to step out when Robin halted me, "Wait. Where are you heading to?"

"Small talk with my mom. Be right back!" I left him shrugging as he returned to configuring the gamepad.

My fast paced jogs against the muddy ground slowly turned into a stand alone in the wet green as I was relieved to see Shulk and Lucina already teamed up with my brother.

I almost wanted to kill myself at the thought of these characters coming to real life.

Then again, has planet Mira and Earth merged with each other?

Nah, this is just ludicrous to even think about it.

Shaking my head in disbelief, I headed over to the metal stairs littered with empty beer bottles, paper, and crushed cigarette packs, all of them getting assaulted by the drizzle.

I didn't want Robin to do double work as a janitor by touring around the WHOLE school to clean inside and out, just a small part of it like we did with the leaves.

So being the good sport I was, I gathered them in my hands and walked back to the Touran, knocking the rear door as a signal for him to open the liftgate.

"What are those?" Robin curiously turned around as I placed the littered items in a fresh trash bag.

"I just double helped you out. Happy?" I returned the smile as I closed the lift gate and re-joined him by the side.

"Thanks." Silence ensued between us until it was broken with a sigh from my newly acclaimed friend at heart, "So, since they started another game, wanna go out for a test drive with my gamepad?"

"Are you serious? Like right now?" My eyes flipped over in awe as I rubbed my hands in excitement, "I can't wait any longer than this! Tell me how does it work!?"

"Patience." he turned the key in the ignition, making the Touran roar to life until it calmed down into a repetitive purr.

"This is how I reverse." Using the stylus to switch gears in screen, the Touran actually responded by clicking into it's correct gear. Robin then lightly pulled the joystick backwards, the Touran obeying the command as I glanced out of the window to see my surroundings actually moving.

"To brake, I simply hit the B button." We both felt ourselves jerk forward in surprise as the wheels stopped rolling at the point before entering the main street.

"So amazing, can I try it out?!"

It was probably not best to urge a paraplegian into touching the needy materials he used in his daily life.

"Um, another time sorry about that." Smiling sheepishly, he then demonstrated on how he moved the car forward, A button plus joystick tilted forward an inch- a speed of 5 Km/h on the narrow pathway.

"Who came up with this technology anyway!? Nintendo and Volkswagen would be billionaires if they teamed up like this!" I joked, finding him to chuckle in laughter.

At least it was healthy for a paraplegian.

Exhaling before resuming on his amazing "steering wheel", I had an expression on my face that told him to keep continuing, it's too damn interesting!

"Anyway, if I want to signal left or right-"

"The L and R buttons." I interjected helpfully.

"Right, how did you know?"

"Um, I took classes on Wii Uology. Anyway, the Z button. Does that make your Touran hop like a bunny? Y'know like Mario Kart?" I demonstrated my right hand hopping like as if I needed a little time for something important.

Robin visibly facepalmed and inwardly laughed with joy, "Actually not quite what I was expecting but I think the Z button just does the horning."

The loud Beep almost shook our skins out of our bodies in shock as we laughed together for a good 5 seconds before calming down.

"The horn might have canceled their game." I informed with a sigh while Robin hmmed? to attention, the group already broken as my brother's soccer friends hung out under the tree, some waving in farewell while biking home, the others taking it easy.

Shulk and Lucina continued to talk to my mom about-perhaps the strange locations on where they came from naturally.

"What? So you're not from here at all?" my mom was bewildered at the sound of these made up places.

Lucina almost spluttered in laughter, "Actually, hard to explain but we come from Ylisse."

"Is that in Africa?"

More laughter aroused as my brother showed up.

He halted dead at the sight of Shulk and Lucina now averted towards him.

"No way. You guys. How did you? Is my mind playing on me or?" Reaching out, he wanted to slap his head from his dream.

"Hard to explain mate." Shulk backed an inch and rubbed the back of his neck in a nervous way, "Just tagged up on some soccer with Lucina here."

My brother was still stunned at what he just said.

My mom immediately grabbed his hand to change the subject, "Ach, come on now. We have to pick up Esther from the train station. Say goodbye to your friends for now."

"See you on Smash!" my brother waved as he muttered some words and marched with my mom along the way we had first entered the field.

"Alright, I'll see you maybe tomorrow. Stay safe." I assured as I slipped my Kanken bag against my back, Robin just smiled and promised, "Be sure to take this before you leave."

Digging into a small box, my heart almost wanted to keep his elemental tomes on my bookshelf and completely prove to my friends that the Smash fighters were REAL.

Flipping open the Thoron tome, he found a page printed with several lettering from the Ancient Tongue, writing an inscribed note before tearing it neatly and setting the gift into my trembling hands.

"For you to remember our visit."

That warm hearted smile got my heart shattered into hugging him like a bear but not Chrom-like for sure.

Now I need to play as you more often in Smash! You're inspiring me to become like you too! (exclude paraplegian)

But as soon as I turned around, Sam and mom didn't notice me in the vehicle as they just passed by, their faces scrunched up into confusion as they discussed more of the weird moment of fictional characters arriving at a soccer game.

"Oh no. I think they left without me." with my hand on my heart, I paled at the sight of them disappear behind the building.

"Shall I drive you home?" he suggested, fingers ready to control the Wii U gamepad.

"Make it quick. Follow the white Civic down there." I helpfully pointed as Robin nodded and kept his thumb depressed on the A button, the Touran cruising down the road that split into a fork before proceeding down St. Jakobstrasse.

Halting at a red light, I began to wonder if they panicked at the thought of me left behind.

But no, I glanced through the rear windshield of the Civic, the silhouettes of their heads shook in a quarrel of confusion as they STILL questioned the strange phenomenon of characters popping up out of nowhere.

"I'm frankly worried about your brother and your mom."

I stopped myself from tapping the arm rest, being careful not to flick the window switch on, "Why?"

With the A button resumed, he lightly triggered the joystick forward, creating a light curve turn according to the road, "They might be traumatized from the whole fantasy thing."

I almost wanted to laugh in my heart.

Cuz I made them come alive including you, my sweet Robbie!

"The effect won't last that long." I almost chuckled as absentmindedly peeked back at his janitorial stuff stuffed in the back, the tube to his Electrolux vaccum poking from under the draped tactician robe.

"I know you want my coat so bad." Robin smirked while turning right on Wartenbergstrasse, my hand gripped his arm as he braked with the help of the B button.

"Actually keep it." a second later my eyes struck my mom, Sam and Esther getting out of the car with a stretch, "I want you to park opposite and wait until they're gone."

"Alright." Blinking in thought, he obeyed my words and neatly parked next to a red Fiat Panda, both of us watching my family members enter the apartment right away. Turning to face him, the smile deeply warmed my heart as we hugged in farewell. "I'll see you in Smash."

"Make sure to pick me with wheels!" Robin joked as we both fell backwards in laughter, calming down with one last look of joy.

I then eyed his Belkshire Bedding XXL neck pillow, the same color as his tactician coat, draped over the headrest in the middle seating. Picking it up, I gasped and hugged it tightly, "Your pillow!"

"If you like it so much, you can-"

"Don't bother about it Rob. Go and fly into freedom with your friends. Strange that they made an appearance here, but Virginia Beach is your true home with the rest of your AweSomE cast friends." With my eyes closed, I opened the door and stepped out, turning around to finish with a sniffle, "Besides, AJRA- according to Lucina- is basically a small cage of Future Europe. You're trapped into this templaristic culture of focusing yourself into things that are essential for the picky rulers here."

Looking around as if no one was eavesdropping on the conversation, I held my breath, my eyes confident into his as I resumed with a sharp exhale, "Like I said earlier, you're named after the great red-breasted bird of Aquila. A robin flies free with his wings already there to guide him towards freedom and home. I'm about to unlock your chains from this rat hole and bring your friends over to rescue you. This is your only chance, please."

Swallowing with a shaky sigh, Robin stuttered in reply, "I promise. See you soon."

"And don't let Chrom or Sumia get to know about your escape!" I waved in the distance as he continued to stare at me, a smile played upon his innocent face.

I'm about to unlock your chains from this rat hole and bring your friends over to rescue you. This is your only chance, please.

Stumped at her words, Robin replayed the moment of her promise and sat back, thinking to what it actually meant.

But amnesia kicked in again for he growled softly in frustration, lightly picking at his strands of white hair as a habit.

He seriously needed to stop.

But looking at the building one more time, he quivered his lips as if unsure and blew out a shaky sigh, starting up the car and backing up as he enjoyed his day with a girl who was kind enough to aid his janitorial duties.

Whatever you write next, I follow it with my heart.

Freedom is the key to friendship.

~X~

"So Dudu, how waz soccah?" Esther curiously crawled on Sam, my brother dead beaten from the rainy game.

Muttering in response, he lazily turned to face her, "Supwized."

"Oh? Tell me moar!" Esther insisted, ticking his sides to wake himself from his lethargy state.

"You know the game we play for the Wii U? Smash Bros?"

"Jes?"

"Well, I met two of them at the field today."

"You joking my cute dudu! You can't possibly have dah powah to see fantasy! They made up!" Esther knocked his forehead awake but to no avail he got up with full kicked in energy.

Turning over with a serious face, Sam got serious, "No I'm serious Bubu! Shulk and Lucina were there. And they play reaalllyyy good. You should have seen it!"

"Okay, me belive you!"

"Ow, stop doing that, Bubu!"

"You asked for it!"

"Guys, tea!" my mom called as she heard repetitive ringing through out the apartment hallway.

"That must be Tabitha. What is she doing left behind?" my mom wondered in thought as she clicked the buzzer, allowing me to rush in and take the stairs to the third floor.

Seconds later, the door opened while I panted heavily, raising a finger to acknowledge them I was still alive after 3 hours engaging with a made up character, "Lots to explain."

"Where were you!?" my mom shrieked, worried about my absence.

"Took an extremely long walk around the field." I replied while hanging my wet jacket in the bathroom- only for me to double take at the color. It was pure black with golden designs everywhere including the sleeves.

No way.

Had I been wearing Robin's grandmaster tactician robe after my farewell with him?

How did it even cling to my body in the first place?

Scratching my head in confusion, I dug into the open pocket to find a folded paper, crisp browned with age.

This must be the page he tore off from his Thoron tome to hand me a farewell note.

Before I could get to the last fold, Esther caught me in front of the bathroom doorway, Sam resting his chin on her left shoulder, "Tabitha? Since when did you have a coat like that? And what's with that paper in your hands?"

I sighed and blurted out the truth, "Not only Sam played with Shulk and Lucina, I also met paraplegian Robin. I helped him around the school, cleaning with the help of his janitorial supplies."

"I don't belive this." Sam chuckled, shaking his head in laughter. "Janitor at the school?"

"No it's true!" I persisted in return, unfolding the note for them to see.

Esther snatched it from my hands and read it carefully with a doubtful look, "Freedom is the key to friendship. Yeah right." she then turned to Sam, "Look Dudu! She also met someone who doesn't exist at all!"

Esther was not into video games that much although Sam started to coach her into Smash Bros, her first Smash fights, winning with Sonic against players from around the world.

But their words didn't sting me right on my heart.

I honestly didn't care if she didn't belive me or Sam into this whole Smash fighters coming to real life thing.

The only thing that deepened my heart was Robin Delahaye.

The paraplegic tactician with a humble at heart, innocent face, kind spirit.

I only wondered if he stop believing in Naga (or Kalastta, the new fish Koi god that fish freak lately created) and turn to the REAL God in heaven.

Also, I feel as if he should join the MemeMemeMemeBrigade too just for Riki's sake and acceptance of new believers into the group.

Unfolding the note, a tear tricked down my cheek as I wiped it with my bare hand and smiled at the words that warmed my heart deeply.

Whatever you write next, I follow it with my heart.

Freedom is the key to friendship.

And done!

So yeah, there's something so special about Robin I couldn't resist writing out an authorXcharacter story.

It's so cute to meet someone fictional in real life.

I mean it.

Yeah, this was post era "ID (Purpose)"

Go check that story out too. (in progress for the moment)

Otherwise, thanks for reading and Falco276 out! :D
