Old Beginnings...New Endings

The Redemption of Lady Guinevere

Chapter 1: Old Beginnings...New Endings

"Where...am...I?" I whisper out as I gaze out at the never-ending darkness. My body flat on the ground, unable to move. "How...did I...get...here?" As if hearing my question, I feel something brush along my body and soon see a mist, rising up from the floor. A voice speaks out from it.

"Do not fret, my queen," The unknown voice says in a soothing, but unnerving voice. "Just rest and all will be right."

"Who...are...you?" I ask as my eyes, the only I can move, gaze around the empty room, trying to see if I can find the mysterious voice.

"I am the savior; I am the messiah; I am...almighty!" The voice feverishly answers. "I am the one who will lead us into a new age and you, my queen, my..." Even though I can't see he or she or whoever speaking, I can feel ice-cold fingers trail down my body; sickening desire dripping from them. "...Sang Réal, you are the key. You are the key to my nirvana!"

"But I'm...not a queen..." I breathe out heavily, my heart racing from the being's words and...by how close it is. "Nor am I...the thing...you desire. I'm no...key to...whatever you're...planning."

"Oh, but you are my dear!" The voice exclaims as it presses up against me, causing waves of disgust to roll over me. If I wasn't frozen here, I would have been pulled away and slapped the everliving daylights out of whatever this thing is. "Tick-tock my queen, the time will soon come when we will be together and our nirvana will come to..." I feel a sickening, wet kiss on my cheek and it's taking all my will power not to throw-up. "...fruition..."

Suddenly, it feels like a million hands running along my body, violating me even though they don't go near my forbidden areas, but revolting all the same. Please body, move, do something! I cry out in my mind, trying to get my body to do something, anything, to stop this madness.

And like magic, the creepy sensation...stops. I no longer feel the hands on me or the presence of the creep anymore. I look around and I see the mist receding, as a warm glow surrounds me.

"Guinevere..." A voice, clearly male this time, calls out. I open my mouth to speak, but only silence escapes from it. "Guinevere...you must awaken..." I am not Guinevere. I stubbornly think. And what do you mean by...awaken? I'm awake. But like I suspected, he can't hear my thoughts as silence just is the only thing that surrounds me.

What is on me? I mentally ask as I feel something lightly brush my cheek, but unlike with the other...thing, the fingers are warm and light and...welcoming. I close my eyes and lean into his touch. "Guinevere...Guinevere…Guinevere..." He keeps calling, his voice growing farther and further away. Don't go… I call out even though he can't hear me. "Guinevere...Guingan...Reagnevere...Reagan..." My eyes shoot open at the sound of my name and I'm soon gazing into warm, silver-gray eyes. "Reagan..."

"WAKE UP!" A voice yells out, causing me to fall and land face first into something fluffy and hard, all at the same time. Oww… Why is my rug in my face? I ask myself as I look at the white fluff, but something else dawns on me. Wait a minute… I quickly shoot up before raising my arms.

"I can move again!" I cheer out in joy and then, something else dawns on me. "Oh no," I moan out as I cover my face in my hands. "I had the dream again." The stupid dream that has been bothering me for that last two weeks. Every time; every time I wake up right when the guy is right in front of me. Why can't I wake up when the creepy...thing is running its hands on-

I cut off from my thoughts when I feel something clamp onto my leg, under the scattered sheets, but before I can do anything, the sheets pull back and reveal a head of dark red curls and angry blue eyes.

"Ryleigh!? What are you doing under there?" I exclaim as my fear turns to annoyance. "And why did you blow my ear drums out?"

Ryleigh, my ten year old sister and constant nuisance, gives a huff before untangling herself from my hot-pink sheets and leers up at me. "I did it because you have to wake up!"

My voice catches in my throat as her words bring back the memory of the dreams, but I push it down before giving her an annoyed look. "And why in the world did I have to wake up at..." I look over at my alarm clock. "...eight forty-three in the morning!?" I yell as my copper-red hair fall into my eyes, I brush it away in annoyance. "It's summer break! Why are you waking me up so early!?"

If looks could kill, I would be dead ten times over as the her dark blue eyes, a darker shade than my ice-blue ones, glare up at me as her plaid skirt flutter around her. Making her little combat boots and baby blue t-shirt from some TV show, stand out more. "Don't you remember what today is?"

"...Friday?"

"No! Today is the day you have to pick Katie up from the train station."

"Please tell me you didn't wake me up for that," I groan out as I stand, letting the sheets fall from my body, reveling my white boy shorts and blue tank top. "Her train doesn't come in till eleven and according to Mister Clock, which I know you can read because you wouldn't stop bugging us when you first learned how to, meaning that I know you know that means I have two hours before I have to pick her up." I head over to bed and flop on it. "Now, if you excuse me, I am going back to bed." And hopefully not have that freaky dream again, even though I wouldn't mind dreaming about silver-eyed boy again. Maybe get a face this time…

A pull at my leg gets my attention and snaps me back to reality. "Let go, Ry!" I demand as I dig my fingers into the bed to prevent her from pulling me off. "This is getting ridiculous!"

"You don't get it!" Ry states as she pulls harder at my legs. "You're going to be late!"

"And I told you I still have time!"

"No you don't!"

"Yes I do!"

"As much as I enjoy hearing you two argue in the morning..." Another voice starts, cutting into our argument. The two of us look up and spot our oldest sister, Rose, leaning against the doorway in her sweats, a cereal bowl in hand. "...it gets annoying fast."

"Is that my cereal?" I ask with a suspicious look. Instead of answering me, she shoots me a smile as she lifts a spoonful of flakes up. You would think she would have her own cereal since she's only here for the summer, but no, she has to go and eat mine… A hard tug at my leg brings my attention back to my current problem. "Could you get her off me?"

"Sorry, but I think she is well in her rights to pull at you this time," Rose answers as she wipes away a piece of sweaty, copper hair the same shade as mine (Which is unfairly straight, something I wish for my hair, but no, I have to straighten it all the time or it will end up looking like a lighter shade of Ry's.), indicating she went running before coming in.

"How is this little monster gnawing at my leg..." That earns me a hit. "...right?"

"She's right because your clock is wrong." I just give her a confused look. "Check your phone." I do as she says and pick up my cat-cased phone and look at the time.

"Ten forty-five," I say out loud. What's the big… Oh shoot… It slowly dawns on me why Ryleigh is so gung-ho about me waking up. "It's ten forty-five..."

"I think its finally hitting her," Rose states as she looks over my shoulder at Ry, who I know has a smug look on her face, but that's the last thing on my mind.

"OMG, it's ten forty-five! I'm going to be late!" I quickly jump from my bed and dash to the bathroom, grabbing some clothes as I go.

"Now it's ten forty-six," Ry corrects. I shoot her a glare as I stop in the doorway of my room and the bathroom.

"Thank you for the update," I sarcastically say. "You obviously can read that watch of yours; if you knew it was getting late and my clock was wrong, why didn't you try to wake me earlier, Know-it-All?"

"I did, a hour ago!" Ry exclaims as she stands on my bed so she's eye-level with me. "You wouldn't move your big butt!" Instead of dignifying her with answer, I just stick my tongue out at her and head into the bathroom, slamming the door behind me and quickly get dressed in my green blouse and skinny jeans.

"It's ten fifty-five now," Ryleigh calls out when I get out of the bathroom and go over to my bed to put on my sneakers (Not my usual style, but I need all the leverage I can get and besides...I need something comfortable just in case Katie decides to run me down for being so massively late.).

"Thank you for the play by play," I say as I bend down to tie my shoes. I hear a soft chuckle from the doorway and lift my head up. "Does the peanut gallery has something to say as well?"

"Oh nothing, just chuckling at the Dum-dum," Rose answers as she takes another spoonful of cereal.

"You know, it's not nice to call people names." Namely me.

"Wasn't talking about you little sis. I was talking about Katherine and wondering what she was smoking when she asked you, of all people, to pick her up, knowing you are not the best at being on time."

"It's amazing..." I start as I grab my keys and phone from the nightstand and head to the doorway. I stare her down with my (powerful) two inch taller height difference "...You're insulting Katie and somehow, you still manage to insult me too."

"What can I say, its a gift," She smirks, unfazed by my stare down as she turns and heads down the hallway. "Time!"

"Ten fifty-nine!" Ry calls back. I glare at the small redhead, then at the retreating one.

"Forget you both!" I exclaim as I turn and head in the opposite direction and head down the stairs to the first floor, but in my haste, I miss the last step and start to take a tumble to the floor. Not my face, please not my face! I mentally whine as I brace myself for the fall, but before I become very intimate with the floor, strong arms wrap around me and in a flash gray eyes appear in my mind but when I open my eyes, ice-blue ones, the same as mine, greet me. "Dad?"

"Yes, Dad," He asks with a smile as he places me on my feet. "Who else were you expecting, Prince Charming?"

A little… I think and to my surprise, I feel...disappointed. Get it together, Reagan! You're having fantasies about some guy you haven't even met and most likely, just a figment of your imagination!

"Sweetheart?" Daddy calls and snaps me out of my thoughts. "Is something wrong?"

"No...no," I slowly answer before getting my grip back on reality back. "I'm just thinking about the ways Katie's going to kill me when she sees me." It's a lie, but not a total lie.

That brings a smile to his face, his worry gone. "I never would have pegged Katherine as the murdering type. Any particular reason why?

"Because her train comes in at eleven."

He just looks at me in confusion before his eyes land on the clock behind me and realization appears on his face at the past eleven time I know it is. He lets out a whistle. "Yeah, I can see why she would be a little peeved."

"Yep," I sigh out and head towards to the garage. "So start planning my funereal; just make sure Aunt Judy doesn't come. I wouldn't put it past her to break out into song, just because of the gigantic crowd."

That earns me a laugh as he gives a nod. "Noted, but I think you're being a little dramatic, sweetheart..." I'm sorry, who has he been raising these past seventeen years? Dramatic is my middle name! "...But I'm sure Katie will understand. I'm mean, she knows about your...less then usual...tardiness."

"Wow, I swear, you all have no faith in my ability to be on time, do you?"

"Can you blame us?" He says with sheepish smile, so similar to my own. "You were even late coming out of your mother."

"Alrighty then, this has been a wonderful TMI moment and that is my cue to leave," I gag out from the over-sharing. "Bye Daddy."

He gives a small chuckle before opening the garage door for me. "Bye sweetheart. Tell Katie I said hi and welcome home." I give a backhanded wave and head to the garage and get into my ice blue convertible. Looking down at my dashboard, I spot five minutes past eleven flash at me. Katie is going to kill me… I mentally groan out and like lightning, a feeling of dread, the same that hit me when I couldn't wake from the dream, washes over me. That is, if this stupid dream doesn't kill me first…

******************************************

"I am so dead, I am so dead, I am so dead..." I repeat when I spot the time on dashboard, reading two past twelve as I pull in front of the station and park, keeping an eye out for a head of dark hair and a pissed off look. Surprisingly, despite the usual hour plus ride, I actually made it hear in pretty good time. Not that will help me from being beheaded…

A familiar ring tone plays in the background, causing me to look down at my phone sitting in the passenger seat; a picture of familiar gray eyes look up at me and I know exactly who's calling. To tell the truth, I'm surprised this is the first time she's calling.

"Hello…?" I hesitantly ask.

"Hello, Reagan," Katie's voice greets. A crispness to her tone. Oh no…

"Hey there, Katie. How ya doing?" I greet back, trying (and failing) to keep the fear out of my voice.

"I'm doing fine, Reagan. Just calling to see how you're doing and see if you're here yet."

"I'm doing swell, awesome even and of course I'm here. I've been here for ages. I went around looking for you and didn't see you. Probably just missed each other!"

"Really?" She asks like she already knows the answer and knowing her...she does, but like hell I'm going to let her know that. "You've been here for the last hour?"

"Of...course..." I squeak out. Silence just answers back and I know the jig is up. "Fine, fine, you win, I lied. I only just got here. I'm so sorry, Katie, I overslept and-" I let out a scream before I can finish when I feel a pair of hands grab onto my shoulders. I quickly jerk away and into the passenger side seat and look back at whoever just touched me, ready to put those self-defense classes into action. But before I can do anything, I spot a familiar face laughing at me. "Katie!?"

"Hiya Rea," She cheerily greets as she looks down at me. "I didn't scare you, did I?"

"No, of course not. Screaming has just become my new way of greeting people; of course you scared me!" I exclaim as I scramble out of the car and try to stare her down. Which is hard, because Katie has a four inch difference on me. "Don't you know better, you could have gave me a heart attack!"

She holds her hands up in defense, but other then that, she doesn't look too worry about my outburst (Most likely because Katie is a certified badass.). "Sorry, I couldn't help myself, I saw an opening and took it. Besides, you should be careful when you have that roof down, anyone could get at you

"You made that abundantly clear and apparently, the only thing I have to worry about is black-haired women, who thinks its funny to give their best friend a heart attack," I huff out. "Is this my punishment for being late?"

"I would call that more of a safety lesson..." She starts as she heads towards the trunk. "And why would I punish you, you're not late. Do you mind opening the trunk, please?"

I walk over and press the button on my key chain and open the trunk for her. "Wait a minute...I'm not late? How is that possible?"

"Oh yeah..." She picks up her suitcase. "...I lied." Like lightning, I quickly shut the trunk before she can get the bag in.

"I'm sorry, what was that?"

"Thank you for almost taking my hand off." She scowls as she places the bag back down and looks over at me in annoyance.

"You lied to me! What do you mean you lied!?"

"I lied about the time," She answers simply with a shrug. "I knew you'd be late, so I told you that the train would be coming in at eleven, when it actually came at twelve. To tell the truth, I'm actually the one late. The train just came in."

I replay the words over and over in my head as they sink in. That bitch! I mentally exclaim when it finally hits me. "Are you saying that I rushed out here and panicked for nothing!? What if I actually got here at eleven."

Instead of saying anything, she just holds up her phone and shows me the twelve ten on the screen. "That's besides the point! The point is, I could have been up here at eleven and I would have wound up waiting an entire hour for nothing!"

"Reagan, name the last time you were on time." I open my mouth but nothing comes out. "Thought so, now would you please, open the trunk again."

"No, why should I?" I demand as I glare up at her. "I went out my way to be generous and volunteer to pick you up after you begged me to-"

"I never begged you, you forced me to let you-"

"And all you do is act ungrateful," I continue, ignoring her. "I have half a mind to leave you here to rot."

She just looks at me in annoyance before shrugging and goes to pick her suitcase off. "If that's the way you feel, then hasta luego!"

Before she can even get a foot away, I quickly run up and stop her, grabbing the suitcase out of her hands. "Alright, alright, you win. Since you're practically begging me-"

"I'm not begging-"

"I will be the kind soul I am and give you a lift back to town," I finish with a dramatic sigh. "I swear, I am just so kind sometimes. You should really thank me. I'm saving you a very long bus ride back to town."

"Oh thank you, ever so much, Reagan. You are so wonderful. I own you a debt of gratitude." The deadpan is clear as day in her voice. I just give a chuckle and begin to raise the key chain again, but stop before I press the trunk button.

"Do you think you can start that over and plug beautiful and amazing somewhere in there?"

"Reagan!" Katie yells, her patience obviously waning. I just give a shrug (Had to try), before opening the trunk and place the suitcase in. When she closes it for me, I go and hug her tightly. She lets out a surprised huff, but she soon hugs back. "Not what I was expecting but still good. What's this for?"

"I am just so happy that you're back," I answer as I hug her tighter. "You have no idea how horrible it's been, just hanging around a bunch of boys and no female company. Now, let me get a look at you." I quickly push her back and gaze up and down at her. Besides the obvious tan to her olive skin, she looks the same, even down to her red flannel shirt with it rolled-up sleeves and open to show off her black tank top, along with her black skinny jeans that hugs her curves perfectly and her usual converses. I swear, I wish we could trade bodies for one day, then I could show off with those curves and long legs of hers. (Some people just get all the luck, but hey, I'm happy with my lithe body.)

"You make it sound like you've been in hell," Katie states as she smiles at me, her earlier annoyance with me gone. "Most girls would be killing themselves to be surrounded by boys and as for female company, you had Misty."

"Yeah...it's not the same." Misty aka Misterea Aigua aka Nimue aka the Lady of the Lake isn't the type that comes to mind when I think of female company. And there's also the fact that I'm not her favorite person in the world right now. But more on that later.

"Don't tell me that she's still giving you the cold shoulder?" She asks as the annoyance laces her voice again.

I give a shake of my head. "No, don't worry, she's still set straight from the last time." After the mess that happened a few months ago, Nimue looked at me like I was the scum of the earth after what a certain someone did when they were in control of my body (Even though, in all honesty, I should have fought for control harder, but again, a story for another day.) and would throw nasty barbs at me. That lead to one of my friends giving her a scolding; another friend and her boyfriend to plead with her and last, a very stern and yelly phone call from Katie. I guess being yelled at by the reincarnation of your adopted daughter is the last straw. After that, she cooled off, but… "It's just not the same as it is with you."

She looks over her shoulder at me, with those silver-gray eyes that seem to read everything before giving shrug and hops into the passenger side and I do the same on the driver side. "I guess that explains the million of calls and messages you sent over the last few weeks and the reason you begged to be the one to pick me up," She says with a smile as I pull out and hit the road.

"Yeah, I did get a bit obsessive, didn't I?"

"A bit!?" Katie exclaims with a laugh. "Reagan, you got close to stalker level. I'm telling you, for like three days, I was certain you were going pop out around the corner with your puppy dog look and demand me to be the one to pick me up." I stick my tongue out at her, causing her to chuckle even more. "I swear, the only other person that bothered me more than you was…" The laughter soon dies from her voice as she trails off and it only takes me a second to figure out who she's thinking about.

"You know his name isn't cursed, right?" I ask with a hesitant smile but the joking mood has left her as sadness and anger soon mask her face.

"It might as well be and besides, I rather not talk about him right now." I can't help but let out a frustrated sigh. This is the main reason why I wanted to be the one to pick her up...to find out what happened between her and our mutual… or ex-mutual, I should say, friend, Augustine "Austin" Cavalier.

Myself, Katie, Austin and Blaine, we all grew up together and have always been thick as thieves since we were little kids. A lot of our firsts were done together and I have never imagined a time where we weren't friends...but, between Austin and Katie, there's always been something...more. The two of them have known each other since they were in diapers, when Austin's grandmother served as Katie's foster mother until she was adopted by her current mom (or Auntie, as we all call her.). But no matter what, those two seem to have a bond that no words couldn't describe. In fact...part of me has always been a little envious; to have someone know you on that type of level. It's unnerving, but also...comforting at the same time, but I digress.

After the big mess that happened over the spring this year, dealing with an evil...witch with a B (More on that later.), the two Dum-dums finally told each other how they felt and for that one week, everything was perfect. I was so happy they were together (And not just because I won the bet between Blaine, another friend of ours...Never mind, forget I said anything, carry on!), but, something happened during our town annual fair. Something big and whatever happened, put them on non-speaking terms, which has been going on for almost three months. The longest these two has spent not talking to each other.

Now, for the last three months, I've been bugging them and bugging them to tell me what happened and both have told me either to ask the other one or basically told me to buzz off, it's not of my business. Well...that's what Austin said at least, Katie's blow off was a bit more...colorful, to say the least, but again, I digress. To make the long story short, I've been determine to get answer about all this, especially today of all days and what better way to get answers is then to trap someone in a car with you for a hour.

"Come on, Katie, you can't avoid him for too long," I start, drifting back into the convo.

She goes and looks at me over her shoulder, while I try very hard to keep my eyes on the road and away from her prying eyes. "I should have known..." She slowly starts as realization hits her. "...I knew you had an alter motive for wanting to pick me up and I'm an idiot for not picking it up sooner."

"Dammit Katherine, you know very well that you and Austin..." She flinches at the sound of his name. I would stop, just because of that, but she needs to hear this and she deserves the flinch, for acting like a child. "...are soulmates. You two are clearly endgame. Hell, even your past lives knew that! So you two need to let go whatever this stupid fight is about and kiss and make so you two can get marry and give me my blonde haired, gray eyed nieces and nephews!"

Katie stays quiet for a few minutes and I can see a rainbow of emotion flash on her face, ranging from pissed off to exasperation and luckily for me, exasperation is the one who wins. (Trust me, I've seen Katie pissed, it is not fun…) "First off, seriously?" It doesn't even take me a second to figure out what she's talking about.

"What? You have to admit, your eyes and his hair would look so pretty on a baby and along with your skin tone, it would really set he or she off. Although, now that I think about it, your hair and his eyes would make a striking combo and-"

"Reagan!" Katie yells, breaking me out of my fantasy. I look over at her and I know its taking all of her willpower not to strangle me at the moment. "Reagan..." She slowly starts, trying to calm herself down. "...You can stop fantasizing, it's not going to happened, because A: He and I aren't nor will we ever be, a couple-"

"Bull!" I cough out discreetly, earning another glare.

"Rea-Rea, you know, the only thing that's keeping me from wrapping my hands around your pretty, little neck is the fact that you're driving and I don't want to die in a car wreck-"

"My neck is skinny!?" I exclaim with a smile. "I always thought my neck was my most unattractive feature, but to know that..." A low growl stops me from continuing. "Sorry..."

"Back to my point, He and I are nothing, so you might as well get the fantasy of blonde-haired babies out of your mind and should you really be the one to lecture about past lives?" That one hurt, I'll admit that.

"We both know that's a blatant lie because if it was over, you wouldn't be ignoring his calls like he says been doing and I know you have and you wouldn't be looking like the world shot your puppy and now you're pissed." That just earns me a glare before she turns towards the passenger window. "Kate, what happened between you two? After the fight with Morgana, you two really looked happy and then when you came back from your talk on the cliff… Look, I know something happened and all I want to do is fix it, that's all."

She stays quiet and keeps staring out the window; after a few minutes past, I start to open my mouth again to speak, but she beats me to it. "There's nothing to fix..."

"Katie-"

"Reagan," She says but unlike the last few times, there's no anger or annoyance in her voice, just a silent plea. "Please, just drop it."

It's rare that Katie takes that tone, especially when it's not Austin she's speaking with and that causes me to almost drop the whole thing...but I can't help pushing my luck. "Alright, I'll drop it for now, but could you at least tell me a little bit about what happened?"

"Reagan..." She groans out, her frustrated tone coming back.

"Just a little bit, so I can understand what happened between the two of you, please?"

A sigh escapes her lips and before I finally give up, she starts speaking again. "Let's just say that...he said something stupid and it hurt me, a lot. That's all I'm giving you, the rest you have to get out of him."

"Trust me, I've tried." I mumble. But maybe with knowing Katie is back in town, his guard will be down and I can try to get the story out of him. At least it will be easier then getting information out of Stone Cold Kate...Speaking of Austin… "Katie?" I look over and see her attention is on the window again, but I see her head turn a little indicating she's listening. "Can I ask you another question?"

"Is it pertaining to the nonexistence relationship between myself and a certain someone?"

"No..." Her shoulder visible relax. "...But it does concerns him."

"Even if I say no, you're going to ask sooner or later, so you might as well spit it out now."

Instead of saying something smart (Like I want to.), I instead go straight to my question. "Are you at least going to make an appearance at his party tonight?" Her silence serves as her answer. "Katherine! You can't skip out on this, it's his birthday for goodness sake!"

"I've been to fifteen out of the seventeen, I don't think there's any harm in me missing this one."

"It's because you've been to all his birthdays that you have to show up. I know you two are on the outs and everything, but could you please, even if it's for a few minutes, show up to the party and wish him a happy birthday."

Not surprisingly, she doesn't answer me and turns back towards the window. Typical. I think as I get ready to pester her again. "I will think about it," She whispers softly, barely enough for me to hear. Well, it's progress. And beggars can't be choosers, this is as close I'm going to get as a victory with her.

We soon fall into an awkward silence, the heaviness of the previous convo and hidden secret of what happened between her and Austin engulfs us. We soon hit a lull in traffic and while we're going to slow pace, I let my mind wonder a bit back to the my dream earlier as a warm feeling goes through me and gray eyes invade my mind. Who is this guy and why do I keep seeing him and feeling that...thing. Soon, the warm feeling and eyes disappear as a sinister and unfortunately, familiar feeling comes over me. No…

"It is almost time, my queen..." The voice from before whispers in my mind. Time, time for what!? I yell in my mind as I try and fail to will the voice away. "Do not fret my Sang Réal, it will not be long and all will become clear." You keep saying that and I keep telling you, you have the wrong per- My mental rant cuts off as I feel hands run down my body. I look down and see nothing but I can still feel them. "Oh my dear, it is not me who is mistaken. You are my queen and the key to my desire." The invisible hands trail down my thighs causing a dark shiver to run down my body. "You will soon learn that you...are...mine!"

Like lightning, black, soulless eyes invade my sight, causing a scream to escape my lips and my foot to hit the gas to escape the sight. It isn't real, it isn't real, it isn't real! I scream in my mind as I shut my eyes to get rid of the image. Faintly, I hear someone call my name.

"Reagan...Reagan...Reagan..." The continue to call but I can't tell who it is but I don't look, in fear that is all trick. It's not real...it's not real...it's not… My thoughts trail off again as another voice and again, familiar voice whispers in my ear.

"Guinevere...open your eyes..." The voice tells me as the same gray eyes enter my vision again and almost like he's willing them, my eyes start to open and the first thing I see, is a semi-truck heading my way!
