Chapter 1 "A Ticket"

Taizu's POV

I could think of a lot of boring things in life. And to be honest, I could say that life itself was the most boring part of it. I live on the Planet known as Planet Peaceful and that name perfectly suits how peaceful this Planet is. Nothing interesting happens. It's just a boring planet with normal events such as schoolwork, birthday parties, basketball games and all that other stupid crap. That may sound interesting to some people "Don't know who the hell would like schoolwork though" but still life can be pretty boring with the power I have in my life. My sister and I were born with supernatural abilities. We're able to go at supersonic speeds, supernaturally athletic and we have supernatural strength. "My sister Aiza isn't really I would call "strong like me" but she can handle herself just fine." I usually wonder why her and I were born with these powers. And why it was us in the first place. I could only think of one good reason.

"Mother." I whispered. It was 4 years ago and my sister and I were out on the sidewalk one day. I was demonstrating how to throw a football across the whole entire planet and catch it on the way back to where I had thrown it. Our mother was sitting on the chair watching us.

"Alright, I got it this time."

"You sure Onii-chan?" My sister asked me.

"Trust me, I can do it. After all I only had done it 20 times." I bragged.

"Well, your right hand is bleeding from the many times you failed to catch it."

She had a point. I was pretty stupid back then. I should've thrown the football with my left hand since it is MY dominant hand. Plus maybe instead of 20 times…It may have been 100?

"Maybe you should switch hands?" She suggested.

"No, I got to do this with my right hand otherwise I'll keep complaining that I couldn't do it with my right hand. Besides I can do it, just trust me."

"I really don't want you to get hurt anymore." She said concerned.

"That won't work on me, Aiza." I threw the football and in about 1 to 2 minutes it would usually come back. But it's taking a longer time this time.

My sister and me were sitting on the sidewalk waiting for it to return.

"I wonder if I threw it too hard."

"I'm sure it's just taking a longer time to get here." She reassured me.

My mom got up and put her hand on my shoulder. "I'm sure it'll come back. "

"But it's been 10 minutes. I wonder if it actually landed somewhere."

"I'm sure you might've accidently threw it slower this time. Oh buy the way, on the way home I bought you and your sister some gifts.

"Really?! What are they mama?" My sister asked her.

"Its in my purse let me just find-

Just then a certain guy came up on our street. He had sunshades on and had a ripped black jacket on. He looked pretty angry, and I think I know why.

He has our football.

"I was taking a stroll and this hit me on my head." He pointed to the spot of his head that was bleeding.

"No way a football like this could actually damage me…Unless it was thrown at mach speeds."

Mother got in front of us and guarded us. I was scared, nothing like this has happen to me before. Since I had these supernatural abilities I thought I could solve all my problems if I got in a fight. But this guy felt different then your average tough guy. I could sense his power and it felt dark and mysterious. I realized now that this power was deadly and it could kill all of us.

"Just leave us alone." My mom shouted stepping back a bit.

"Oh yeah? What'cha gonna do about it bitch?!" He then started charging up this dark aura around his hand and I had know idea what it was. But before I could try to figure out what it is my mom grabbed my shoulders.

"Listen, whatever you do, take your sister and run and get as far as way as possible alright?!"

"But Mom what about-

"I'll be fine, JUST RUN!" She shouted. Maybe if I had actually listened to her, then the events that are about to take place wouldn't have happened. But unfortunately I was a lot stupider than I thought.

I got in front of my mom and stretched my arms out.

"No way! You take Aiza and get as far away as possible!"

"Don't be stupid and listen to your mother when she tells you something!"

"Even if she wants to give up her life just to save a stupid child who's fault it is in the first place!" I retorted.

"Please listen!" My mother was starting to cry. I felt a little guilty but since this was my fault I should face the consequences. But then I felt Aiza roughly tugging on my shirt.

"Please Onii-chan, I don't wanna do this either, but just listen to mama." She pleaded.

"She's gonna die if she does something like this! It's my fault this happened! You hear that shades guy?! It was my fault! I threw the damn football! Just spare my mom and sister!" I requested.

"Fine by me you piece of shit!" He then threw the aura ball at me and for sure I knew I was going to be killed. An explosion happened and a bright light covered the whole development I was living in. Everything was obliterated. Anyone who lived here was killed in a traced. Even the houses themselves was gone. It was just a barren wasteland. I knew for sure my family was dead.

But then I noticed I wasn't dead. In fact I wasn't even scratched. I was surprised because I knew for sure I was a goner. I frantically looked for my sister and she was actually in my arms the whole time. She was also unscratched. But I have know idea why we weren't killed in the first place. Then I noticed there was a sphere covering us and I guess it was some type of shield. I have no idea how this shield got here, but that wasn't on my mind right now. What was is my mother. And then as I looked in front of me I noticed a dead woman on the floor.

It was our mother. She must've been the one who created the shield for us. Even though this was my fault she still protected us. Because that's what a mother does. No matter if you're the one to blame. She will always protect you. But I really don't know how she developed this shield. Was she using the same thing that guy was? Speaking of him he actually vanished. It was like he wasn't there at all. My sister started to wake up. What was I going to to say? Sorry but our mother is dead? She's like 10. Something like that could scar her for life. She opened her eyes and looked at me.

"Look Aiza, I have to-

"Mama protected us didn't she?" She said. I was surprised but not really since she did see everything. Plus she was a lot smarter than your average 10 year old.

"Hai…." I answered weakly. I broke the shield with a fist and me and my sister walked up to our mom's dead body. I noticed tears were falling onto her and I turned to Aiza who was crying uncontrollably. I had know idea what to do. But I would do what any brother would do in a situation like this.

I held her tight and wrapped my arms around her and told her one thing.

"I'm sorry."

-Demon Land-

The reason I came up with is maybe that I must've gotten these powers from her. But perhaps…My sister and I could be…Demons?

I started to laugh and shrug that completely stupid idea off. No way were demons that's impossible. But I don't think it's not impossible. After all in a world where me and my sister have supernatural powers. It could be possible.

I can't believe I forgot to actually introduce myself. My name is Taizu Shurio. I'm 16 years old and I was wearing a dark blue hoodie with a circle logo with a lightning emblem on it in the center. I have black spiky hair with green on the edges of my hair and dark green eyes and I was wearing black jeans with a white belt. I wore sneakers with black and green designs on them. I had goggles around my neck with lightning bolts on them. I also wore white gloves. I was what they said at school. Pretty stylish. But due to my supernatural abilities not many people talked to me. In fact they were scared of me, so I rarely had any friends. But I was surprisingly really intelligent which I had no problem of acing every exam I could take. I could've been accepted into a college at 14 years old if I did. The same went for my sister of course. As kind hearted and innocent as she can be, people still feared her abilities since I was her "brother". I really wanted to beat up every kid who didn't want to be her friend but I knew Aiza would be mad if I did that so I sucked it up and let her handle it. I was outside sitting down on the grass lawn of my grandparents yard until I felt a strange thing in my pocket that I didn't even know was there.

"A ticket?" I questioned what it was doing in my pocket but before that my sister had run out of the house to show me something.

"Onii-chan, Did you happen to get a ticket?" She asked me.

"Yeah, I did. I don't know why though." That was my sister Aiza Shurio. She was 14 years old. She had dark blue hair put into two long twintails. She had crimson eyes and she had a dark red long sleeved shirt with the words "HOPE" embedded on it. She had a dark blue skirt and wore red sandals that covered her toes. She also had black stockings on. She also had on red gloves.

"Did you read it?"

"No I didn't" I replied. I then took a look at the ticket and read it.

"Dear Taizu Shurio, I welcome you among 8 other supernatural humans from different planets to join us in a land known as Demon Land. It's a lively world that we know you'll enjoy. But if you accept this then we shall warn you of the danger that you'll face in order to survive in this land. You must be prepared for what happens. If you die we won't be held responsible. We hope you understand the conditions and join our team. From anonymous."This wasn't a ticket you'd see any day. But this has peaked my interest and maybe this could escape me from my boring life.

"Onii-chan, there's something on the back of it."

"Really? Lemme see it." I turned the ticket around and on the back it says "Rank, Captain" I wonder if that means I'm the leader of these 8 other humans from different planets.

"Aiza, what does yours say on the back?"

She looked at hers and responded. "It says Rank, Supporter."

"Wonder what that means…" I then saw a signature line under the Rank info.

"I'm guessing we write our names here in order to go to this supposed "land"

"I'll go get a pen." Aiza got up the grass and ran inside to grab us a few pens.

I on the other hand decided to take a quick nap until Aiza ran up to me and shouted "Got the pens!" and I was annoyed by that but shrugged it off.

"Alright, lemme sign my name." I wrote my signature under the Rank, Captain info. And the same went for my sister. Suddenly a bright light came from the clouds and surrounded me and my sister. And it was slowly taken us up to the sky.

"Onii-chan. I'm scared, what's going on?!" She said scaredly.

I looked up to the sky and smirked.

"We're going to have fun."

2: Chapter 2 - "Demon Land"

3rd Person's POV

As we descended onto this new land, Taizu and Aiza gazed at their surroundings. Right now they were still in the sky descending from above. The whole place was white and hard to see.

"I wonder where we are?" Aiza wondered.

"Well duh, we're in Demon Land of course, I read you the ticket remember?"

"I mean if we're even in Demon Land."

"Oh, how can we tell?"

"I guess we'll learn when we get there." The two teens we're about to reach their destination. The legendary land known as Demon Land. A land filled with exotic demons ranging from good hearted demons to pure evil demons. The two we're finally going to realize what the land was really like.

Except the fact that they didn't even make it halfway there without the beam taking them there to just suddenly stop causing them to crash fall.

"AAAHHHH! WHAT DO WE DO ONII-CHAN?!" Aiza said while free-falling. They we're flying at an incredible velocity towards the new land.

"Let's land in that water fountain." Taizu said casually. Aiza knew her brother wouldn't be scared of falling like this. It was like he wasn't scared of anything at all. Whatever scared him, he just smirked at. In fact people usually thought her brother was insane which she honestly believes. But no matter what she will still love him, insane or not.

They splashed into the water fountain and got a little wet but nothing to major.

"Man, why did we have to fall into the water. Now I'm all wet. Shit."

"Well, at least we dry off quickly since we didn't get too wet." Aiza said as she stepped out of the fountain.

Taizu started to look around the area. It wasn't as white as before and now everything was starting to clear up. "Whoa, this place looks pretty amazing." They were beautiful trees and nice clear skies out. Grass glistened throughout the horizon, and the fountain looked like clear fresh water, now that they took a good look at it.

"Pfft, for a land called "Demon Land" it's not really demonic looking is it?" Taizu started walking around and looking at whatever looked interesting.

"Onii-chan! Onii-chan! Look what I spotted!" Aiza called her brother over and he ran over to check to see what happened. "Well what is it?" Taize asked. "It's a dinosaur! It's so cute." It had two stubby legs and feet and its mouth looked like it had a lot of teeth. It also had these scary demonic eyes but at the same time it looked cute.

"Whoa, it's like a cross between a dinosaur and some type of weird monster." Taizu pointed out. "Onii-chan be nice, he looks like he's a baby." Aiza said while helding the baby dino-demon. "Whatever." Taizu began to walk away but before that he started to hear some noises from the sky and then he heard a splash which most likely came from the fountain. "You stay here Aiza, I'll check it out okay?" Taizu said. "Alright, I'll stay here with Onii-chan #2." Aiza added. "Just make sure "Onii-chan#2" doesn't end up eating you." Taizu ran over to see what people landed in the fountain.

-Demon Land-

"Oww, that landing hurt. Why would I just fall from the sky like that?" The boy who fell from the sky wondered. "Hello? Anyone over there?" The boy then started hearing another voice coming from the other side of the fountain. He noticed it was a boy about one year older than him, wearing a dark blue hoody and had goggles for some apparent reason.

"Hey you alright?" The boy handed out his hand for him to assist him to get up. "Yeah, I feel a little sore, but I'm okay. Thanks, What's your name?" The boy asked. "I'm Taizu Shurio. I landed here not too long ago with my sister. And yours?" He asked. "Oh sorry, my name is Tommy Richfields." The boy answered. He looked like he was 15 years old and had brown spiky hair and with two spikes covering his face. He had yellow eyes and had a purple backwards cap on. He wore a black t-shirt with no sleeves and had on grey sweatpants and had red shoes on with a red tie to boot. Taize wondered why he had a tie on the first place.

"What's with the tie man?" Taizu asked as he yanked the tie. "Hands off. Before I was sent here I was at a formal dummy." Tommy stated.

"I see, so you got that ticket too. What rank did it say you were?"

"It said I was a Commander." He answered. "Really? I wonder what those ranks mean in the first place." Taizu wondered. "Well I don't know what it means. What I want to know is why we were sent here to this land in the first place." Tommy insisted.

"The ticket said we were all supernatural beings. That's the only clue I can think of. Plus, this is a land full of demons. It seems like us beings would fit rather nicely here."

"You seem to be a rather intelligent person Taizu-san. Just like me." Tommy admitted. "You seem smart as well. After all you are wearing a tie." Taizu added. They had a few laughs and then heard footsteps of the other human Taizu had heard earlier. He looked like he was 17 years old and had dark brown hair down to the center of his neck not too long not too short. He had light blue eyes and had a long sleeve green shirt on with an orange jacket over it. He was wearing black boots and had on brown shorts.

"Umm, hello there. My name is Taizu Shurio and-

"Don't tell me, before you know who I am." He interrupted. Taizu sweatdropped. "Okay?...Alright who are you?"

"Don't play dumb like you don't know me. I'm the coolest guy you'll ever meet. The guy who walks in the eye of justice. The guy that never backs down from a fight. That guys who is the most badass out of all badasses. I'm a sexy bastard known as. Davio Kuroo!" He proclaimed waving a piece sign in the air.

Silence

"So he's one of THOSE guys huh?" Taizu whispered to Tommy. "He seems full of himself." Tommy said.

Davio fell to the ground anime style. "You can't be serious! You've never heard of me?!"

"That's right!" They both responded.

"GAAAHH!" Davio sulked into depression. "But…I'm the badass of badasses. He muttered quietly.

"Hey man, don't get down in the dumps. After all we're from different worlds remember?" Taize stated.

"Really there's hope?!"

"I guess so."

"I doubt it." Tommy said.

"What did you say kid?!"

"My name is Tommy, not "kid" What are you in 2nd grade?" Tommy insulted.

"Listen "Tommy" don't make me have to pound your face to the ground!" Davio threatened preparing to throw a fist.

"I'd like to see you try!" Tommy gloated. Before Davio shot his punch and made contact with Tommy, Taizu got in the way and blocked the punch with ease with his arm and had his other hand in his pocket.

"Guys, no fighting alright. Apparently we're a team and we should get along instead of fighting alright?" Taizu declared.

"Impossible! Back on my planet, noyone had ever been able to withstand my Badass Punch. This guy really is something. I better not mess with anyone while he's around." Davio thought.

"Well? Wanna work as a team "Badass of all Badasses?" Taizu bribed.

"Are you trying to bribe me?" Davio asked.

"Duh. C'mon just accept." Taizu bluntly said extended his arm out. "Alright I'll get along with you. But until this is over we'll be temporary friends alright."

"Not like we wanted to be your friend anyway." Tommy added.

"What was that?!" Davio turned to Tommy ready to make a threat until he sensed a a murderous intent from Taizu that screams "If you touch him, prepare to vanish."

"I mean..I love jokes! Hahahaha! Right Tommy?" Davio quickly asked Tommy. Tommy didn't get the message so before he could respond.

"ONII-CHAN! COME HERE AND SEE THIS!" Taizu quickly ran over to the other side of the fountain. "What's wrong Aiza? Did "Onii-chan#2" tried to eat you?!" Taizu asked concerned. "No, I let him go." Aiza said.

"So you just let your Onii-chan go huh….Anyway what did you call me for?" Taizu asked trying to change the subject.

"Look at these beautiful rainbow pedaled flowers. They're so pretty!" Aiza said as she pointed to a whole meadow of beautifully rainbow colored flowers. The colors really brightened the mood and if someone were to tell you this was a place called Demon Land, you'd laugh at an instant.

Taizu picked a flower up and thought it looked pretty cool. He wasn't a flower type of guy but he thought it looked nice. "Whoa, these are really pretty. I've never seen one on my planet before. They're mostly rare and are found on mountainous ranges near the ocean."

"Actually on my planet, they're quite common to find." Tommy replied walking over to Aiza and Taizu's area.

"Yeah, I actually keep forgetting we're all from different planets. My planet is way too boring. Your planet sounds like a blast to live in." Taizu admitted.

-Well it isn't really."

"Huh?" Taizu looked over and saw a girl come from behind a tree having one hand on the tree trunk and had her other hand on her hip. She looked like she was the same age as him. She had dark brown long hair and had dark blue crystal eyes that lit up the sky. She wore a red and white dress with black designs and had part of the dress white in her "chest area". She had white socks and wore red heels. She wore white gloves and had a dark red ribbon in the middle of her long hair.

"Rather than those flowers, they're wasn't really anything interesting from my world either." The girl said as she walked out to greet her new "companions"

"Who's she?" Taizu asked.

"That's my sister. Melody Richfields. She also came to this planet alongside me." Tommy answered. "Really?!" Taizu asked shocked. I'm glad I'm not the only one with a sister around here." It's not that he didn't like his sister. It's just that he thought it would be pretty weird if he were on the only one with a sibling to take care of in the new land.

"Well, it seemed my brother introduce myself, I'm quite curious to know who you two are. She said pointing to Taizu and his sister.

"I'm Taizu Shurio. I'm from Planet Peaceful. The most shittiest and boring place to ever live in."

"And I'm Aiza Shurio, I'm his sister. It's nice to meet you Miss Melody-san." Aiza bowed in respect.

"No need to be so formal, young lady. You can just call me Melody." Melody insisted.

"My mama said that I must respect any lady who is more beautiful than I am." She stated.

-Demon Land-

While Tommy was helping Aiza pick up flowers to put in this basket she supposedly "found" Taizu and Melody we're discussing matters about why they we're sent here. Or at least that's what Tommy and Aiza thought.

"What's with the goggles huh? Trying to make a fashion statement?" She called out.

"You know, wearing a red dress like that could get ruined in this "dangerous" world. He said with exaggeration in his fingers.

"As you wouldn't know, this is actually a dress from my great grandmother who was a famous Richfield for developing martial arts on my planet." She gloated.

"I've read about it. Apparently your grandmother was a supernatural being who stopped the war on your world. Around 1970 if I recall. She's the reason why most of our planets know about martial arts." Taizu informed her.

"You seem quite intelligent Taizu-kun."

"You too, Miss Melody." He smirked.

"Is that my new nickname?"

"No, that's the name I WANT to call you." Taizu replied.

She blushed but Taizu obliviously didn't notice. It was the first time anyone has ever given her a nickname besides Melody-sama or Master Melody.

"By the way, your brother told me, that on the back of his ticket he got a Rank saying he was a "Commander" and what does your say?" The boy asked.

"Quite curious huh? The Rank said I was a "Tactician" I'm guessing it means that I'm the smartest out of you guys. And what does yours say?" The girl asked curious as well.

"I'm not the only curious around here. Mines said "Captain" I guess that means I'm the leader supposedly. Don't know why." Taizu answered.

"Ahh, well you seem pretty strong and you seem pretty smart too Taizu-kun. Tell me, what did you get on your IQ test?"

"On what scale?"

"On my planet we had tests that had scores that go from 1-300. I'm guessing you would probably land in the 100-

"250."

"WHHHHAAAAATTTTTT?!" She exclaimed. She never thought that he was THAT smart. That was only 20 points away from her score.

"Is it really that surprising that someone like me would get a score like that? My sister probably got 200 or something." Now this was really surprising her. On her planet she and her brother we're some of the smartest people in their world. People wished and begged to be as smart as her and her brother. It was just weird having some boy she just met be on par with her.

"I see, so I guess people on different planets aren't as stupid as I originally thought coming here."

"What did you think, we we're brain dead idiots?!" He joked.

She laughed a little. "Yeah, I suppose so."

"By the way you still have that flower in your hand you know."

Taizu completely forgot he was still holding the rainbow flower he had picked up earlier. "Yeah, I guess I did." He then did something that caught her off guard. He extended his hand over to her.

"Here, why don't you have it?" Taizu asked with a smirk on his face.

"Your giving a rare flower to a girl you don't even know?" She questioned.

"Hey, What else ya gonna do besides giving a cute girl a flower huh?"

She blushed a bit. But quickly took the flower and put it to her chest. Both of them we're staring at eachother. It seemed to be a romantic atmosphere until a certain someone showed up in front of Taizu.

"Hello beautiful lady! My name is Davio Kuroo and I'm the badass of all badasses and-

"OWWWWW OWWWWW!"

"That's my sister your flirting with pally." Said Tommy as he pulled the "badass" away from Melody by the ear.

"Who's he? He seems like a creep." Melody asked.

"You don't know the half of it." Taizu replied.

I sense some romance between those 2. Poor Davio, he'll have his moments sooner or later.

 

3: Chapter 3 - "The Last 4 Companions"

3rd Person's POV

Taizu, Aiza, Tommy, Davio and Melody we're still discussing matters of why they arrived in Demon Land. Melody took the rainbow pedaled flower off its stem and pinned it to her red ribbon.

"You look good like that." Taizu said

"You really think so?" She asked

"Not that you didn't look good before." He said blushing but turning to the side and smirking. She blushed as well. There was just something about that smirk the boy would do, that would make her feel safe and composed.

Davio elbowed Taizu. "I didn't know you we're a ladies man Taizu!"

"Who said that?" He said meaning to just back him off of him but accidently put too much force and pushed him into a tree. "Oww oww oww. That's like the 10th time today." Davio exaggerated.

"Sorry Davio." Taizu apologized.

"Anyway." Taizu trying to stay on task. "So far there are 5 of us. The ticket said that they're would be 9 of us. So I wonder where the other 4-

-AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

A girl suddenly fell from the sky and landed in Taizu's arms due to his fast reflexes.

"Phew, that was close. If I didn't have fast reflexes, a fall to the ground like that could've killed you." Taizu casually said while doing his "smirk."

The girl looked up at the boy who was just smirking at her. She had long light green hair and eyes. She had a purple sweat jacket on and was wearing a red skirt and wearing brown boots and wore green gloves. The girl suddenly noticed that the boy was staring at her and that fact that he was carrying her IN general. She blushed madly at this and jumped off him and starting sobbing.

"I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO LAND IN YOUR ARMS! I'M SUCH A KLUTZ! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE THERE! I JUST FOUND A TICKET AND SAID SOME STRANGE THINGS AND TOOK ME-

"You sure are a noisy one huh?" Taizu said shutting her up by putting his finger to her mouth.

"You know, I could've let you fall. But I really don't like seeing girls get hurt. So don't apologize anymore okay. I don't like seeing girls cry either." Taizu said.

The girl blushed at his kind words. Taizu didn't notice but Melody was looking at her with an angry expression but shrugged it off. Aiza walked up to her and asked her a question.

"Hello miss, you've met my Onii-chan Taizu already. So what's your name?"

"My name…Oh yeah that's right! I'm sorry. I'm just really stupid some-

Taizu once again put his finger to her mouth. "Listen lady. Since I'm your "Captain" apparently, I don't want you apologizing anymore alright?" She started to sob a bit. Taizu wiped off her tears.

"Or cry." He added. She looked at him again. "Or calling yourself stupid." He also added.

"O-Okay. My name is Lemon Riper." She said while blushing. "Umm…your finger is still on my mouth." Taizu removed his finger and let her explain herself.

"Umm…T-The ticket said I was your "Guardian." Which I think means t-that I protect anyone who can't f-fight." She said stuttering.

"Don't worry Lemon-sama! I'll protect you! IF I AREN'T THE GREAT DAVIO THE BADASS OF ALL BADASSES!" Lemon blinked and was surprised of using such language. "Umm…..Thanks I guess." Lemon said.

"You sure Lemon-san? No offence, but you don't look like the fighting type." Tommy said. Melody would've normally hit him on the head for calling out girls, but she didn't mind it this time for a certain reason.

"I'm sor…. I mean I'll try to train hard I promise!" Lemon promised. "And I'll make sure to protect all of you!"

Taizu walked up to Lemon and put his hand on her shoulder. "Well, I'm counting on ya, I know you'll do a good job." Taizu said smirking.

Lemon started to blush madly. "No, I don't think I would be able to protect you Taizu-kun, after all, you seem to be pretty strong."

"Even if your very strong, you still might need to be protected." Taizu reassured her. "Just don't push yourself to exhaustion."

"Yes! Taizu-kun." Lemon said. Meanwhile Melody was staring at her with a death glare. She didn't know why she was doing it, but whenever Lemon got near Taizu, she felt as though, something important to her was being taken away. She didn't even know him for more than an hour and he's already important to her.

"Oi! Davio, You never did say what Rank you are did you?" Taizu turned to Davio.

"Well, since I'm a badass. I'm a "Hunter" obviously."

Silence

"REALLY?!" Everyone responded.

Davio sulked into depression once again. "Why am I treated badly all the time."

-Because you're weak probably." A boy answered.

"Who said that?" Davio asked getting up back and ready for action again.

The boy who had insulted Davio had walked up from behind the tree and seemed like he was the same age as Taize, Melody and Lemon. Along with another boy with him who seemed to be the same age as Aiza.

The older boy had white spiky hair with green eyes. He wore black and red sneakers and had dark blue shorts. He wore a grey sweatjacket with a fire symbol in the middle of it. And he was wearing white gloves. The younger boy also had white spiky hair but had dark green eyes. He wore a white t-shirt over a dark blue long sleeve shirt. He had black shorts on and dark green shoes on.

"Just because you're a hunter, doesn't make you impressive." The older boy said.

"What did you say punk!" Davio angrily said.

-He has a point." Taizu responded.

"What?!"

"You're friend on the other hand seems like he knows what he's doing." He said pointing to Taizu.

"What makes you think we're friends?"

"I thought we we're. Anyway, what's your name stranger?" Taizu asked.

"The name's Yoji Kurra. And this is my younger brother Hisuke."

"Nice to meet the both of ya." Taizu greeted handing out his hand to shake with Yoji.

"Hmph, I guess so." Yoji said returning the hand shake.

"It's nice to meet you Hisuke-san." Said Aiza, who was also handing out her hand to shake.

"Umm…yeah sure." Hisuke said while blushing, but turned the other way.

"Who might the rest of you be?" Yoji asked.

"I-I'm Lemon Riper."

"Melody Richfields."

"Tommy Richfields."

"And you?" Yoji said pointing to Davio.

"Why should I tell-

"His name is Davio." Everyone answered.

For the third time Davio sulked into depression. "Why does this happen to me."

"So, this means we're just missing one person huh?" Tommy said.

"Yeah, wonder when he or she will show up." Taizu wondered. As soon as he said that a girl from the sky came falling onto Demon Land. But landed on her two feet as if she was trained for this. She looked like she was Davio's age and was wearing black and red armor with a sword at her side. She had long red hair and had purple eyes.

"Hmm…So this is Demon Land? Not the most threatening land I've ever seen." The girl said.

The 8 other humans we're just looking at her. They didn't know what to say. It wasn't until she noticed she was being watched.

"Are you people the other 8 supernatural humans?" She asked.

"That's right. We all got the same ticket as you did I presume. What's your name?" Taizu asked.

"My name is Redda Lochen. And the rest of you are?"

"My name is Taizu Shurio and these are the other guys." He said pointing to each individual.

"This is my younger sister, Aiza Shurio."

"Nice to meet you." Aiza bowed. The red haired girl didn't quite know how to react to this but went along with it.

"The one next to her is Lemon Riper. She talks a lot and apologizes a lot from what I've seen. But she's nice."

"Umm…Hello. I vow to protect you with my life as your "Guardian." Lemon responded. The red haired girl also didn't know how to respond to this.

"This is Miss Melody, or Melody Richfields. I call her Miss Melody because I like saying that."

She blushed but replied. "Nice to meet you." Redda noticed the blushing but didn't say anything.

"And this is her brother Tommy Richfields."

"Nice to be of your presence." Redda noticed the boy had a tie but didn't question it.

"And this is Yoji and Hisuke. We just met them awhile ago. They're brothers."

"Yo."

"Whatsup hot lady!" Hisuke said. Redda was the most shocked at some 14 year old telling her, a 17 year old that she was "hot."

"And last but not least this is Da-

Davio had already went up to Redda and grabbed her hand.

"My name is Davio, the Badass of all Badasses. And I like to say that your are one fine looking la-

"GO AWAY YOU PERV!" She punched Davio into the same tree Taize had "accidently" pushed him in earlier.

"Oww…." Davio painfully said.

Yoji whistled. "That's some crazy power you got there woman."

"Well I am Rank "Mercenary" after all." She replied.

"By the way. What ranks does yours say Yoji and Hisuke?" Taize asked.

"I'm a "Assassin." Replied Yoji.

"They said I was a "General." Hisuke said.

"Those sound cool! I wish I was an Assassin." Taizu complained.

"And you seem pretty young to be a General." Melody pointed out.

"Well…you seem to be pretty stupid to be a "Tactician."

She grabbed him by the neck. "What did you say you little brat?"

-It seems you all got to know each other."

"Great, another person to beat me up." Davio groaned.

"Come out stranger." Taizu demanded.

The lady popped out of the bushes and introduced herself. She had long pink hair and wore a black long sleeved shirt that goes down to her belly button. She wore a black skirt and black heels. She looked as though she had the tail of a fox.

"My name is Menami Foxou and I'm your Supreme Officer."

3rd Person's POV

“SUGOI!!! A SEXY WOMAN HAS APPEARED IN FRONT OF US!” Davio shouted out of glee. Everyone else on the other hand we’re wondering why a fox tailed women was talking to them in the first place.

“Your our what?!” Tommy cried out.

“Didn’t you hear me the first time? I’m Menami Foxou your sup-

“I heard you the first time!” Tommy said with frustration.

“You should at least tell us what a “Supreme Officer” is.” Redda asked rather curious to find out what that Rank means.

“Very well. A “Supreme Officer” is the guided leader of your demon team. It’s a person with outstanding power.”

“Really?! Show me your po-

Before Taize could finish his sentence, Menami suddenly was behind Taizu. “You mean like this?”  Everyone was gazing at how fast she went behind Taizu in mere seconds.

“W-What?” Taizu was surprised. He has never imagined anyway to be that fast before.

“I’m quite impressed Taizu-kun. Normally anyone would’ve died from an extreme burst of wind from the speed I went at. Your only bleeding a bit.” She said with a smiling face.

“Your serious huh? I thought I felt funny.” Taizu looked at his cut on his neck. “Pretty good Menami-sama. Though I could tell you we’re holding back.”

“Your right of course. What’s the point of bringing all of you here, when I have the power to kill you all?” She joked although everyone except Taizu was starting to regret reading the ticket. Taizu though was just smirking like always.

“Can you teach me how to go fast like that?!” Taizu asked

“Sorry! My ability only.”

“That’s not fair.” Taizu groaned.

“By the way. You might want to stop the bleeding of the cut on your neck. In about a minute or so, you could die from blood loss.” She informed.

“Oh I guess yo-WHAAAAAT?!” Taizu starting to freak out for once. “WHAT DO I DO WHAT DO I DO?!”

“…You could, you know. Stop the bleeding.” Yoji suggested.

Taize started to rub his neck. “Oh yeah I guess so.”

“You must be the “Assassin” Yoji-kun?” She asked. Yoji nodded.

“Oh how nice. Tell me something. If I ordered you to kill everyone here would you do it?” She asked with no expression.

“Sure.” Yoji simply said. “If it’s an order from my “Supreme Officer” then I can’t refuse right?”

“Correct. But though you would’ve failed as your team’s “Assassin.”

“What? But you said-

“You’re the team’s “Assassin” so your job is to assassinate the enemy not your comrades, no matter if it’s an order from you “Supreme Officer” Menami explained.

“And why is that?” Melody asked.

“Because mostly your “Assassin” is one of your most valuable and strongest members on your team.  Plus he’s the most loyal as well. Ordering someone of his caliber could cause him to rebel.”

“Plus I’m never around anyway.” She added with a sweatdrop coming from her head.

“What does this women think she is? Of course I knew that.” Yoji thought to himself.

“Like I said before I’m your “Supreme Officer” and no you didn’t know that.” Menami said.

“What?! You can read minds?!” Yoji exclaimed,

“Don’t be silly. My demonic ability isn’t Mind Reading. I’m just really good at guessing what your thinking.”

“So can you guess what I’m thinking?” Taizu asked.

“Yes I can, and no I’m not teaching you how to guess what people are thinking.”

“So unfair.” Taizu muttered.

“Wait a second! If I heard you correctly, you said that a “Supreme Officer” is like a supervisor over a demon team right? What do you mean by “demons?” Melody asked.

“Oh yeah, I should’ve included that on your Demon Ticket. Your all demons.” Menami said casually.

“EHHHHHHH?” Everyone yelled shocked.

“You mean to tell me we we’re like those creatures in those video games?” Davio screamed.

“Apparently so.” Tommy said.

“Not surprising. After all with our abilities, it’s more reasonable than anything else.” Yoji said.

“So I’ve been a demon this whole time?” Melody questioned herself. “I guess that would explain our supernatural abilities. But am I really a demon?”

“Well you’re a cute demon.” Taizu grinned. But regretted after he started to blush at what he just said and started whistling.

Melody blushed as well. “Thank you Taizu-kun.”

Lemon frowned a bit. “Am I cute Taizu-kun?” Lemon hoped he would respond back but unfortunately he didn’t hear her and was over where Hisuke and Aiza was.

“Aww….” Lemon sighed in depression. Unbeknownst to her was Melody who put her fist up with a face of accomplishment and an evil sparkle of stars in her eyes.

She whispered. “ YES! At this rate he’ll be mine.” 

“Who’ll be yours?” Redda asked.

Melody turned back around and immediately tried to cover up what she said. “NOTHING! Nothing at all. Hehehe.” Melody responded. Redda was good at seeing people lying so it was obvious to her she was lying.

“Umm okay.” Redda replied.

“Oi Taizu-san! Can demons be evil?!” Hisuke asked.

Taizu as the older role model should’ve responded like “Why would you wanna be evil.” But instead…

“Sure!” Taizu said.

“Really?!” Hisuke exclaimed in happiness. Aiza was starting to question whether or not being Hisuke’s friend is a good idea.

“Onii-chan!” Aiza cried. As much as she loved her brother, he could be intelligent but for the wrong reasons. He could be quite childish too despite being 2 years older than her.

“So I’m an evil devil huh? Hehehehehe” Hisuke started laughing to himself. Aiza backed away from him really slowly.

“Keep up the good work Hisuke!” Taizu encouraged.

Aiza started to sob. “Onii-chan your not helping…”

“But he asked me if they’re could be evil demons and I answered his question.” Taizu replied back to his sister.

She wiped up her tears and thought of something.

“But…are we good demons?” Aiza honestly questioned.

Menami walked up and patted Aiza’s head with a warming smile. “Don’t worry. You can be a good demon if you want to.”

“Okay!” Aiza said with compassion.

“That reminds me. Why are we here in the first place?” Taizu suddenly brought up the question everyone wanted answered.

“I could explain that.” Menami walked up in the center of the beautiful forest area they were in right now. All gazed on her who was about to explain the reason for why they’re here.

“Alright then. The reason you’re here is quite obvious. All of you are demons like I just explained correct?” Everyone nodded.

“Well, most of you are aware of the fact that you all have supernatural abilities right yes? You see. Demon Land is a very dangerous world. It can get quite competitive here and can cause many deaths, which happens everyday. Recently I lost my whole entire team to another Demon Team in the “Demon Battle” we participated in.  I was sad for a few weeks from the deaths of my team. But a friend of mine inspired me to restart and find a brand new team from outside this land. I then learned about the 9 of you, and your supernatural abilities. I knew that with the 9 of you I could become stronger.”

“But why do you want to become stronger?” Lemon asked.

“I don’t want the same thing that happened to my team, happen to all of you.”

“What’s a “Demon Battle?” Taizu’s curiosity peeked to the brim as his goggles shined yellow.

“Taizu-kun? Why did your goggles change to a different color?” Lemon asked.

“Emotion Goggles.” Menami said.

“Emotion Goggles?”

“They’re goggles that shine a different color depending on your mood. It doesn’t always react to your mood though.”

“So cool! What are the different colors Taizu-san?” Hisuke asked.

“Well, normally goggles are grey which would mean I’m not really in an emotional state. Yellow as you can see means curiosity. Blue means sadness. Red means anger or I’m ready to fight or something like that. Green means I’m happy.”  Taizu explained.

“So cool! I wish I had some.” Hisuke complained.

“Just because you have cool goggles doesn’t mean your cool Taizu!” Davio protested.

Taizu squinted his eyes. “I wasn’t trying to be cool.”

“Well that makes you more interesting Taizu-kun.” Melody said as she patted him on the head. His goggles shined pink.

Hisuke was confused. “You didn’t explain pink.”

“Well pink means that I’m….em…barr…essed.” Taizu mutters the last word.

“The great Taizu is embarrassed because a girl patted him on the head?” Yoji mocked.

“Whatever man. Menami could you please answer my question?” Taizu said back to Menami.

“Demon Battle, is a strategy war battle type game that demon teams in this land participate in, in order to win prizes and get stronger. Demon Battles aren’t just fights, they could be competitions too. Such as a test of running or a test of skill.”

“That sounds like a fun game to play.” Aiza giggled.

“Oh it is fun. Especially when your killing your rivals in demon fights. I love it when that happens.” Menami said. Everyone backed up from the “psycho lady” except Taizu and Yoji who looked in awe.

“So cool!” Both of them said.

Redda sweatdropped. “Are you two even human?”

“Hey, we’re demons remember?!” Both of them replied.

“Oh yeah…I forgot.” Redda looked disappointed.

“Can we participate in a Demon Battle?!” Taizu asked ready to put his skills to the test.

“Well first I must ask you all a question.” Menami stated

“What is it?” Taizu asked.

“….Are you ready to die?”

Its Chapter 4 and already their in trouble. Will they be killed? I doubt it.

3rd Person's POV

“Wait…what do you mean if we’re ready to die?” Davio asked obviously everyone else except Taizu and Yoji were thinking the same thing.

“Well, I have to make sure you’re strong enough to survive in this world.” Menami then disappeared into the woods.  Then an intercom came through the forest.

“ATTENTION! THE FOREST YOU’RE IN RIGHT NOW IS FOUNTAIN FOREST. IN ORDER TO PASS THIS TEST YOU MUST FIGURE OUT WHAT YOUR DEMONIC ABILITIES ARE! ALSO YOU MUST SURVIVE IN ORDER TO PASS AS WELL. IF YOU DON’T FOLLOW THESE REQUIREMENTS YOU’LL FAIL.”

“What happens if we die?” Taizu asked casually.

“YOU’LL FAIL IMMEDIATELY! NOW, HERE’S WHAT YA GOTTA DO. YOU MUST GET TO THE END OF THIS FOREST. WORK AS A TEAM AND FIND YOUR HIDDEN ABILITIES. IF YOU CAN DO THAT THEN YOUR WORHTY TO BE IN THIS LAND! ONE MORE THING! TRY NOT TO DIE.”

“Why does she think we’re gonna die so easily?!” Davio says.

“Well, you might die first.” Tommy smirked

“What did you say?!”

“Guys, didn’t you hear what she just said? She just said work as a team.” Melody reminded.

“Your brother is a pain in the ass.” Davio told Melody.

“Well, does it look like I give a shit?”

“Didn’t think girls like you could cuss like that.” Yoji smirked. Melody paid no mind to Yoji’s nonchalant attitude.

“Yeah. Besides, girls are scared of almost anything right?!” Hisuke laughed. But Redda and Melody both turned to Hisuke.

Redda took her sword out and put it Hisuke’s face. “What was that boy?!”

Hisuke gulped “Umm, did I say “girls are scared of almost anything?” I meant to say that “girls AREN’T scared of anything hehehe.”

“That’s what we thought.” Both Melody and Redda said. Aiza facepalmed and bends down to Hisuke on the floor.

“Hisuke, if you say stuff like that you won’t survive for long.”

“Don’t worry about me Aiza-chan. After all, I’m a strong guy. Hisuke proudly stands back up only forced to back down after Melody and Redda look towards him. “Maybe I should stay down.”

“So, what do we from here guys?” Lemon asks.

“Why don’t you ask your “Captain?”  Said Yoji who was pointing towards Taizu.

“What should we do Taizu-kun?” Lemon asks. Taizu was sitting on the floor Indian style with his arms folded. He seemed to be deep in thought.

“Umm…Taizu-kun?” Lemon was trying to wonder what he was thinking about.

“You ok-

Taizu got up and looked back at the other 8 of his teammates and started to walk off into the forest. “Hey! Where are you going?!” Shouts Davio but Taizu paid no mind.

Taizu points to the forest. “You mean you haven’t figured out yet?”

“Figured out what?”

“That we’re here.” Taizu says.

“What do you mean?!” Davio asked not understanding what the ebony haired boy was talking about.

“We’re already at the end of the forest.”

“No way!” Davio didn’t know what the heck he was talking about. Neither did anyone else.

“Oh I get it.” Melody said.

“Same.” Says Yoji.

“What are you guys talking about?” Davio says wanting to know whats up.

“Its’ simple. See that fountain over there?” Melody points to the fountain that most of the people fell into on their way to this world.

“Yeah.”

“A fountain like that wouldn’t just be anywhere in this forest.” Melody stated. Davio blinked. “But she said this forest was called Fountain Forest. I’m sure they’re other fountains in this forest.”

“That may be true. But think about it. The water in this fountain looks fresher than most fountains I’ve seen. Why would anyone want to travel so far just to get water from this fountain hmm?” Davio was starting to get what she was talking about.

“So basically what you’re saying is that. The only reason a fountain with fresh water would be here is because-

“That would be the ideal spot to get water and transfer it to wherever she lives.” Redda interrupts what Davio was about to finish saying.

“’Bingo!” Taizu enthusiasm speaks for him.

“BINGO INDEED!” It was Menami on the intercom again. “WELL IT SEEMS YOU’VE DONE A GOOD JOB SO FAR. TIME TO TEST YOUR ABILITIES!

Suddenly the ground begins to shake. Everyone has trouble trying to comprehend what’s happening. They notice the trees start to fall down from one side of the forest one by one. It looked like something crushing them. Then it appears. A demon that looks exactly like a dinosaur. It was over 30ft tall and it looked like it was hungry for some humanoid demon flesh.

“Ehh, w-what is that thing?!” Davio asks nervously.

“A giant dinosaur?!” Tommy said.

“So cool!” Hisuke shouted.

“Hmm, A perfect thing to slay while I’m here.” Redda said.

Aiza was thinking and then thought of something. “That must be Onii-chan #2’s parent!” Everyone looked confused at what the 14 year old had just said.

“Taizu-kun I thought you we’re the only brother Aiza had.” Melody questioned.

“She’s talking about this dinosaur she find when we landed here. Apparently this is his mother or father.” Taizu replies. “Is that thing even a he?!” Davio asks. “Not sure.” Taizu answers.

The dinosaur then opens it’s mouth and charges towards the ground. The 9 demons jump out the way of being eaten.

“What do we do?!” Lemon asks.

“Easy.” Yoji jumps up towards the dinosaur’s head and punches him square in the face causing him to collapse onto the floor. Yoji fell back to the ground.

“Whoa! That was awesome Yoji-san.” Tommy complimented. Yoji didn’t care though. “Whatever.”

The dinosaur got up and then fire began to form in his mouth and it looked like he just fired a fireball towards the 9 demons.

“That fireball is heading right toward us! We have to move now!” Melody warns everyone but Taizu was thinking the opposite.

“Taizu-kun?! Where are you going?!” Lemon yelled at to the boy but he didn’t listen.

“No Miss Melody! A fireball is cool!” Taizu jumps towards the fireball and originally intending to just punch it which would most likely burn his hand off his fist starting to charge up with electricity.

“Is that? Electricity?” Redda asks everyone. Even Taizu himself didn’t understand it but he went along with it. He punched the fireball with his electric fist and it exploded into the tiny flames. Taizu landed back on the ground and the electricity on his fist began to fade away.

“What was that just now?” Taizu wonders in his thoughts.

They didn’t need a mind reader to know that what Taizu was thinking wasn’t the only one who thought of that same question.

“I’m guessing Taizu’s demonic ability is Lightning?” Tommy inquires everyone.

“It seems so.” Melody said. The dinosaur was getting kind of tired of not being able to kill 9 simple human demons. He jumped back up to where everyone was and then started stomping everywhere.

“The ground is shaking!” Hisuke said stating the obvious.

“Way to say the obvious” Davio smacks Hisuke upside the head. This causes Hisuke to be the perfect target for the Demon Dinosaur to stomp on him.

“BROTHER HELP!” The foot of the dino demon was about to crush Hisuke.

“HISUKE!!!!” Yoji charges towards the monster and tries to pull a kick but instead his leg looks like it was on fire.

“Look at Yoji-san’s leg!” Aiza pointed and everyone else saw it.

“That’s so cool! His demonic ability must be fire!” Taizu shouted with his fists in the air. “Beat him up! Beat him up!”

Yoji smirked and then fired his leg at the foot of the monster. “Take this you overgrown piece of trash!” Yoji kicked the monster with his fiery kick causing him to topple over. But Yoji’s mistake was he had no idea that Aiza was in the direction of which he was about to fall over on.

“KUSO!!!! Move out the way Aiza!” Yoji cursed himself for not being able to make it in time.

“AAAAAHHHHHHH” Aiza cried out.

“AIZA!!!!!” Taizu shouted and was going to run over there to Aiza but for some reason the dinosaur stopped in midair.

“W-What?” Taizu was confused but then noticed another person right next to Aiza. It was Melody and it looked like she had the power of psychokinesis.

“Psychokinesis?” Taizu said. But Melody corrected him.

“No.” She then smirked. “THIS IS THE POWER OF A DARK MAGE!” She then psychic pushed the dinosaur up towards the sky. “TAIZU! YOJI!”

“Roger!” Both the boys went up towards the sky. Taizu’s fist of electricity and Yoji’s fist of fire we’re about to send the dino flying.

“DEMONIC MOVE! FIERY LIGHTING ASSAULT!” Taizu and Yoji together punched the dinosaur and send it to the other side of the forest and it was most likely wasn’t going to come back.

-Demon Land-

“So those demonic abilities are really something huh?” Tommy said.

“Mine is probably the ability to destroy everything!” Davio said but Tommy shook his head. “I doubt it.” Davio sulked in depression for the fourth time.

“I wonder what mine could be.” Redda wondered to herself.

“I bet it’s awesome! Because your awesome Redda-chan!” Redda blushed a bit but then punched Davio into a tree. “Shut up you perv.”

Taizu and Yoji landed both on the ground. Lemon was running towards Taizu.

“Oh thank goodness your alright Taizu-kun!” Lemon hugged Taizu and it seemed it was doing more damage to him than the monster did.

“Lemon your squeezing me!”  Yoji sweatdropped. "What am I chopped liver?"

Melody frowned and turned to the side, and a certain sister of Taizu was pulling on her dress.

“Thank you for saving me Melody-san.” Aiza thanked.

“Oh, it was nothing.”  Melody wasn’t used to being thanked so this was new to her. But Aiza went close to her ear and whispered something. “Don’t worry Melody-san. I can tell my brother likes you a lot. He gave you a nickname didn’t he?” Melody started to blush and was about to say something to deny that fact but instead said something else.

“You think so?” Melody asked with a smile on her face. Aiza nodded her head. “I know so!” Taizu was finally free from Lemon’s hug and it was not like he didn’t enjoy it, he just thought the squeeze was pretty painful.  “Arigato Miss-Melody!” Then something caught Melody off guard again. Taizu had embraced her in a hug. And he whispered to her.

“I don’t know what I’d do if I lost her.”  Melody didn’t know what to say and his voice sounded a bit weak but then hugged him back. “I’ll be here.” She says. 

Fire? Electricity? Dark Mage? What abilities are also in store for the rest of the gang?!

The 9 Demons we’re waiting near the fountain they all came here from for the next instructions.

Davio kicked the grass. “Now what do we do?”

“Well you can stop kicking the grass dummy.” Redda said. Davio ignored Redda’s smart comment and kept kicking the grass out of impatience.

“That was awesome! How’d you do that brother?” Hisuke asked regarding what Yoji had did earlier.

“You mean the fire? I have no idea. The woman must have been telling the truth when it came to our demonic abilities.”

“WHAT YOU THOUGHT I WAS LYING EARLIER YOJI-KUN?!” Menami shouted out of the intercom.

Yoji growled “It’s that damn woman again!”

“Tell us what we do next!” Tommy said out of frustration.

“NOW YOU MUST GO INTO GROUPS OF 3 AND SEARCH 3 AREAS OF THE FOREST. MIGHT I SUGGEST THE CAPTAIN PICKING THE TEAMS FOR THIS ONE! OH YEAH I ALMOST FORGOT! TRY NOT TO DIE, YOU’VE DONE A GOOD JOB SO FAR!”

“Yeah, by that you mean Taizu and Yoji’s sibilings almost getting crushed to death. Yup we’re doing a really good job.” Davio said sarcastically.

“You know Davio, you we’re the reason why Hisuke was in danger.” Tommy pointed out.

Davio frowned. “Do you have anything better to do than make fun of me?”

“Just telling the truth.”

“Why you little-

“Would you guys please shut up for a second?” Taizu was starting to get annoyed by his friends’ constant quarrels.

“Sorry.” Both of them apologized.

“He has a point, you two are quite annoying.” Yoji agreed.

“HEY!” Both of them responded.

Aiza and Hisuke we’re sitting on the side of the fountain. “Hey Aiza-chan? What do you think my demonic ability is?”

Aiza wondered what her friend’s demonic ability could be. “Hmm…I’m not sure. What are your hobbies?”

“I like to run, I like to beat up people, and I like to look at girls. What kind of power could come out of that?”

Aiza just squints her eyes. “Umm…The ability to be a….pervert?”

“Hmm…I like it! Though I think it would be cool if I had a different power.”

Aiza started to wonder again. “Any other hobbies?”

Hisuke started to think real hard. It had been 5 minutes and he was still thinking. “Umm…Hisuke-san? Do you have any other hobbies?” Aiza asked.

“Well! I like to run-

“I thought you already said that.”

“If you would let me-

“It’s okay if you don’t have any other hobbies Hi-

“LET ME FINISH!!!!” He shouted.

“I’m s-sorry!” Aiza started to sob. Hisuke started panicking and hoped Taizu didn’t notice or else he might shock him to death.

“IT’S OKAY! IT’S OKAY JUST LET ME FINISH!” Hisuke said panicking.

“Okay!” Her composure went back to normal the sooner he said those words. Hisuke just facepalmed.

“Well, I like to run when I’m on water! It feels really good on my face whenever I run and the water hits my face.” He explained. Aiza thought of what his power could be.

“The demonic ability of water?” Aiza said. Hisuke thought it sounded cool so he just nodded out of excitement. Hisuke then started to hug Aiza and it was more of squeezing then hugging.

“THANK YOU AIZA-CHAN!” Aiza was blushing but also was being squished to death.

“Umm…your squishing me Hisuke-san.”

Lemon was picking up flowers near the two 14 year olds. Melody walked over to Lemon and asked. “Why are you picking flowers Lemon-chan?”

“My mom used to say that if you have these rainbow flowers that they’d bring good luck. So I was going to keep one of them.”

“Taizu-kun gave me one and I picked the pedal part of the flower and pinned it to my ribbon. Does that count?” Melody asked honestly.

“I guess so. With Taizu-kun around anything is possible apparently.” The two girls starting laughing and we’re getting along better than they thought they would.

“Hey captain! What do we now? The annoying woman said groups of 3.” Yoji asked Taizu.

“Hmm…groups of 3?” Taizu put his emotion goggles that were on his neck and put them on his head. “I think I got it.”

“Alright here are the groups. I’ll bring Miss Melody and Tommy along with me. Yoji you’ll go with Lemon and your brother. And Davio you can go with Redda and my sister.” 

“Hey wait a second. Don’t you think it’s a little weird that the girl you gave a flower to get’s to be with you and her brother?” Davio questioned. Taizu was getting pretty annoyed.

“You know, I could always switch Redda with Tommy.” Taizu threatened. Davio gulped. “On second thought…You picked some great teams!” Davio nervously laughed. He wasn’t afraid of Tommy, he was afraid of his annoying and sarcastic humor.

“Why am I paired up with him?” Redda asked.

“You seem talented with a sword. That way if Aiza gets in trouble you can help her out!” Taizu smiled. Redda sweatdropped. “That wasn’t my question.” She was wondering if he really had no clue or if he just ignored her on purpose.

“I don’t think teaming up with Redda-san and Davio-san isn’t a bad idea.” Aiza smiled the same way Taizu had smiled earlier. Only this smile was out of innocence and not mischievous.

“Of course not Aiza. After all you’re a lot nicer than your brother.” Redda glared at Taizu. Taizu laughed nervously. “Umm…what’s that suppose to mean?” 

“T-Taizu-kun?” Taizu turned to the person who called his name, which was Lemon of course.

“Yeah?”

“Could I switch with Tom-

Before Lemon could finish, Yoji grabbed her by the shirt. “What she meant to say was. She was happy about being on my team. Isn’t that right Lemon? Yoji glared at her and Lemon nodded scarily.

Taizu was pretty confused. “Umm…okay? Happy to hear that Lemon.” Unbeknownst to Taizu, Yoji had saved him from a dangerous event that could’ve taken place if Melody and Lemon we’re on the same team as him. What Yoji was good at was figuring out people. He wasn’t as smart as say Melody or Tommy but he was on par with Taizu’s intelligence, which wasn’t very far off. So he easily knew that Lemon wanted to team up with Taizu just to be with him. He also knew that if Lemon was on Taizu’s team along with Melody it would be complete hell.

Yoji sighed. “I save his life and he doesn’t even thank me? Tch.” He realized that Taizu was more obilivious than he originally thought.

Hisuke was confused. “What did you mean about saving his life?”

“You’ll learn sooner or later. It probably won’t be too long.” Hisuke frowned because he wanted to learn more.

“So when do we start searching our areas?” Tommy asks Taizu.

“Our team will go west. Yoji’s team will go north and Davio’s team will go east.” Taizu explained as he pointed in the direction his team will go.

“Umm…which way is east?” Aiza asked. Taizu sweatdropped. “Well…if I’m going this way, then east should be the opposite of where I’m going right?” Aiza frowned. “Onee-chan, that was mean.”

Melody punched Taizu. “Yeah that was mean.” Taizu was rubbing his head. “Oww…I was just saying the obvious.” Taizu stretched. “Anyway let’s get a move on guys. Let’s go Tommy and Melody.

“Hey, I thought my nickname was Miss Melody?” Melody frowned.

“I thought you didn’t like that name. Besides I can’t call you that all time.”

Melody frowned. “Hey, let’s go already” Tommy said. And while the 3 we’re walking a certain someone calls out to Taizu.
“H-Hold up Taizu! You still haven’t answered my question!” Redda was still glaring at Taizu. He stopped in his tracks “Umm…Right well you see. I’m sure you guys will be fine.” He picked up Melody causing her to blush and grabbed Tommy’s hand. “Well gotta go!” He ran off in is direction. Leaving an angry Redda sulking. “You can’t be serious…”

Redda turned to Davio and expected some stupid comment of his but instead she found him with his arms crossed deep in thought.

-Flashback-

“Davio, can I talk to you for a second?” Taizu asked Davio. 

“Umm…sure why not?”

He and Davio went somewhere far away from the others.

“Hey, I know this might be weird but could I trust you to protect my sister?” He asked.

“Come to think of it, why didn’t you put her on your team or Yoji’s team? You, Melody and Yoji all have your demonic abilities, so why did you put her on my team.”

Taizu smirked. “Because, you said you we’re a badass right? So I thought that maybe you’d be good enough to watch her right?”

Davio had never been asked to protect someone before. But he wasn’t going to quit now; his reputation was on the line.  He shook Taizu’s hand. “Don’t worry pal! I’ll protect her with my life!” Taizu smiled. “Good, I’m counting on you then!”

Davio had another question in mind. “By the way. Why is Redda on my team anyway.”

Taizu was still smiling and then had a look of “uh oh” on his face. 

“I actually don’t know…Hahahaha” Taizu started to laugh. Davio sweatdropped. “Your kidding right?”

-Present-

Redda was looking at him in concern and Davio was thinking. “I wonder how I’m going to protect her. I don’t have a demonic ability like Taizu, Melody and showoff boy do. I’m gonna have to find out what mines is and fast. After all I promised Taizu.”

“Umm…Davio are you alright?” Redda asked in concerned.

Davio stopped thinking and looked at Redda. “Yeah, I’m fine.”

Aiza walked up and grabbed Davio’s hand. “Let’s go Davio-san.”

Davio stared at her but then smiled. “Alright! Let’s go. He then grabbed Redda’s hand. “Don’t worry I’ll protect both of you.”

Redda blushed but let go of his hand. “Thanks, but I’ll take care of myself.” She began to walk in their destination.

Davio scratched his hair in confusion and turned to Aiza. “What did I do?” Aiza shrugged and was clearly as confused as Davio was, and they went off as well.

That just left Yoji, Hisuke and Lemon. Lemon then asked something to Yoji. “Hey why did you interrupt me earlier?”

Yoji laughed nervously and grabbed Hisuke’s hand.

“Umm. Well let’s go!” He and Hisuke ran off. Lemon was angry. “Hey come back!” And so she ran off with them.

Chapter 7 "Survival Test 2"

3rd Person's POV

Menami from the intercom shouts out. "NOW WE'LL BEGIN THE SECOND PART OF THE SURVIVAL TEST. BE ON GUARD, AND TRY NOT TO DIE. BYE BYE."

Taizu clicked his tongue. "Tch, She sure is doing a good job of hiding the fact that she wants us dead." He, Melody and Tommy we're walking in the western direction of the forest.

"That girl confuses me sometimes." Melody said. She stopped to look around and had her hands on her hips.

"Something wrong sis?" Tommy asked.

"No, nothing is wrong. I just feel as though we're walking into a trap."

"How come?"

Taizu walked over to her. "You sure?"

"Now that you mention it. I feel it too." Tommy said. As soon as he said that he stepped on a piece of wood that activated a trap.

"AAAAHHHHHHH!" Melody squealed as she and Taizu we're caught up in some type of rope trap. It was a rope that was tied up onto a tree branch that surprisingly held the two teenagers up. Melody was holding onto Taizu who was blushing lightly.

"Umm…Melody? You can let go now." Taizu said with his goggles shining pink.

"Huh? O-Oh yeah I'll j-just do that." Melody backed off from Taizu red faced.

Tommy pointed at the duo. "Umm…you two are stuck."

"Thanks for stating the obvious." Both of them replied both struggling to get out of the rope cage.

"Wait! I'll just use my lightning!" Taizu started gaining up lightning energy in his fist and punched the rope cage and a puff of smoke appeared.

"AWESOME! You broke the trap!" Tommy thought the trap was destroyed and thus Taizu and Melody would be free. But unfortunately the rope cage was unscathed and Taizu basically just wasted some effort.

"Well that didn't work." Taizu said.

Melody touched the rope cage with her finger. "Weird. Not even a scratch. Let me try." Melody put her gloved hand against the rope cage and all the rope was slowly turning black. After a minute all of the rope was completely black. "Dark Release." This attack she thought of was supposed to erase the rope and Taizu and her would be free of the trap. The rope started to shine brightly dark but the rope returned back to its original state before the attack.

"Both of our attacks didn't work." Taizu told Melody. Tommy thought of a solution.

Tommy grabbed the rope. "Judging from what that Menami women told us. I would say maybe this rope isn't affected from demonic ability attacks."

"THAT'S CORRECT TOMMY-KUN! YOU SEE, THE PIECE OF WOOD YOU STEPPED IN EARLIER WAS ACTUALLY A BUTTON TIED UNDERGROUND IN AN ELECTRONIC FACTORY UNDER THE FOREST. THAT ACTIVATED THE TRAP THAT CURRENTLY TAIZU-KUN AND MELODY-KUN ARE STUCK IN. PRETTY STUPID THOUGH HOW PEOPLE OF SUCH HIGH INTELLIGENCE SHOULD'VE NOTICED THE TRAP AND MOVED AWAY. TAIZU-KUN AND MELODY-KUN ARE BOTH IDIOTS." Menami laughed out the intercom.

"HEY!" Taizu and Melody both shouted.

Tommy put his hand in his pockets and stared at the ground. "There's an underground factory below us?"

"THAT'S CORRECT."

"Is there a button that'll undo the rope trap?" The boy asked.

"YES, IF YOU CAN MAKE IT TO THE CENTER OF THE FACTORY. THERE'LL BE A BUTTON THAT'LL UNDO THE TRAP. BUT THERE ARE ARMORED ROBOT DEMONS DOWN THERE. SO BE CAREFUL BEFORE GOING DOWN THERE."

Tommy sweatdropped. "I didn't say I would go down there!"

"TOMMY!" Taizu and Melody shouted.

Tommy sighed. "Fine. How do I get down there?"

"THIS'LL DO THE TRICK."

Suddenly the ground began to crumble where Tommy was standing and he jumped out the way and what it looked like was, that there were stairs forming in the ground and it seemed like a ticket to the factory.

"Cool! Stairs would definitely be efficient." Tommy ran to the stairs. He waved to Taizu and Melody.

"Don't worry guys! I'll get you out soon!" Tommy ran down the stairs and disappeared from Taizu and Melody's vision. Meanwhile they were stuck cramped up in the rope trap with just enough space for the both of them to move freely.

"Hey! While he's having all the fun, what're we supposed to do?" Taizu asked. With the new power he has at his disposal, he wanted to try it out on someone. Too bad he was trapped.

"YOU'LL WAIT FOR HIS RETURN! IT SHOULDN'T TAKE LONG MAYBE A COUPLE OF HOURS OR SO?" Menami answered through the intercom.

Melody frowned. "You mean to tell me we have to stay in here for a couple of hours?!"

"YUP! THIS'LL BE THE PERFECT TIME FOR YOU TWO TO GET TO KNOW EACHOTHER. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN." Menami stated in a perverted way.

Melody face was completely red and regretted saying what she said. "W-What? What are you implying?!" She demanded to know.

Taizu blinked his eyes in confusion and after a few seconds of silence. Taizu poked at one of Melody's breasts. "Hey Melly-chan? What does she mean by that?" Melody didn't even comment on her new nickname and turned around to Taizu still red faced. She whispered something into his ear. His faced turned red, causing his emotion goggles to represent what he was feeling, which was embarrassment and so his goggles turned pink.

"HEY MENAMI! WHAT KIND OF PERSON DO YOU TAKE ME FOR?!" Taizu shouted.

"HMM…WELL IT SEEMS ON YOUR BIO, YOU'VE NEVER HAD TOO MANY PERVERTED EVENTS HAPPEN IN YOUR 16 YEARS OF LIFE. WAY TO GO TAIZU-KUN! YOU'RE NOT REALLY A PERVERT!" Menami congratulated. Taizu was not at all moved and sat down Indian style with his arms crossed.

"That didn't really answer my question." Taizu said. Melody decided to lie down on her stomach and crossed her arms in front of her face and thought.

"I wonder if Tommy is doing alright."

-Demon Land-

Tommy was walking through the electronic factory looking for the button that'll undo the trap that currently Taizu and Melody are stuck in. He was walking though a hallway and sighed. The thing was there were doors on the left and right side of the hallway. There were 10 doors on the right side of the hallway and 10 doors on the left side of the hallway.

"What now? Do I check all the doors or look for the one that has a better chance of having the button." Tommy struggled to think of what was the right solution. Back at his home planet he was indecisive of the most ridiculous things. He often struggled of what the best outcome is and often looks for the answer that makes the most sense. However, once he'd find one answer he'd regret abandoning the other answer at his disposal.

"I'll just look through all the doors." Tommy opened the first door and went inside it. He looked through the room's contents and saw pictures of robots all over the place. It was pretty creepy. He went back outside into the hallway.

"Well that's one down. 19 more to…..go. Damn it." He then began checking through each of the 19 doors with one door being the most disturbing. One door he thought had the button, was door 15 and inside the door was a naked male robot demon who had probably just gotten out of the shower. And Tommy had been trying to get that memory out of his head for the past hour he had been looking, since each door after the first one he'd check had a lot of contents inside it.

"Finally door number 20." He opened the door and he fell into a hole and landed on his bottom.

"Oww…That was a rough landing. Why would a door just send me down a ho-" Before he finished his sentence he heard a loud noise and realized he was at the basement floor which was the factory.

"So this was the factory that Menami was talking about." He saw conveyor belts carrying weapons of guns, rifles, pistols and bazookas. Guns have always fascinated Tommy ever since he was little when a sniper saved him from a ferocious bear. Ever since then he's wanted to train himself to be a professional gunman. The factory was all grey and the conveyor belts we're on each side of the factory. But something caught his eye. Two buttons we're in the center just like Menami said.

"Yes! I've found the button. But how do I sneak past these robots?" Currently he was hiding a wall and the robots couldn't see where he was. There were approximately 30 robots and it would be really hard trying to sneak in and press the button and sneak back out. It didn't help that the conveyor belts had weapons either.

"Hmm…Maybe if I got ahold of one of the weapons. I could destroy those robots." He proceeded into walking and sneaking to take a weapon but suddenly Tommy stepped on a piece of metal and it just had to make a sound.

"Damn it!" Tommy instantly covered up his mouth. But it was too late, all the robots had spotted him. They all picked up their guns and started firing at Tommy. He ran and dodged all the incoming bullets but one struck him in the arm. But he managed to take cover by one of the conveyor belts.

"Owwww. Well at least it was the arm." He held up his bleeding arm in pain and removed the bullet. It didn't hurt too much when he pulled it out then when he got shot.

"Now what can I do? Wait the conveyor belt!" He looked up and saw that the conveyor belt holding all the weapons we're empty.

"Uh oh. Looks like the robots took all the weapons. Now what do I do?" Suddenly he saw his arm that he got shot in glowing.

"What the heck?" Tommy's hand was glowing as well and suddenly a gun popped up on his hand.

"What? But how the heck?" He noticed the gun was dark purple and had a dragon insignia on it. It was weird. But he caught on the idea that maybe this gun was his demonic ability.

"I wonder if this is my demonic ability. If it is then I'm a really lucky being!" He got up and aimed his gun and shot one robot.

"Sweet! One down. 29 to go! I'll be like that one guy from Klonoa and strike down all my enemies!" He ran to get to the center of the factory. The robots aimed at him and Tommy effortlessly dodged all of them and shot his gun at the robots. The bullets looked like fire shots that came out of a dragon's mouth and it struck down 10 of the robots. The 9 remaining robots decided to switch from guns to their bazookas. They all aimed at Tommy who had stopped halfway.

"Uh oh. Not good." The bazookas all fired at Tommy and he tried to run but it was too late and it made contact with Tommy causing an explosion. It was a puff of smoke and finally one of the robots began to speak.

"The intruder was eliminated." But their scanners indicated that his presence was still alive and suddenly they look up to see Tommy in the air about to fire his gun. He was bleeding from his mouth and was all beat up and scratched up from the explosion. He was surprised he jumped at the last minute and survived.

"SAY GOODBYE!" What he didn't notice was that his gun had changed into a bazooka form of his gun. He fired the shot at the 9 robots and instantly the robots we're all eliminated by the powerful explosion of his shot. It left a really wide crater in the ground. Tommy landed back on his feet and noticed that his weapon had changed.

"Whoa, That was some power. I can't believe this gun can change forms." He held his bazooka in the air and wondered how he could change it back to normal.

"Nevermind that. I have to free my friends!" He put his bazooka in a purple backpack he had found in one of the rooms he had looked in earlier. He ran over to the center, which had a square podium and the two buttons. And one of them was the key to freeing both his sister and Taizu. But he had no idea what the other one was for. He looked and read the podium and it said. "WARNING. ONE OF THE BUTTONS IS THE KEY TO UNLOCKING THE ROPE TRAP IF IT WAS EVER ACTIVATED. THE OTHER BUTTON HOWEVER WILL KILL WHOEVER IS TRAPPED IN THE ROPE TRAP IN A FIERY EXPLOSION."

Tommy gulped and stared at the two buttons. "How do I know which one is the right one?! Even if I do pick the right one. How will I know I did pick the right one?! There's gotta be a sign somewhere." Above the square podium were 2 lights. One was green and the other was red. He instantly came to the conclusion and thought that the one that shines red is the one the kills his friends. And the one that shines green means that he picked the right one. "Well at least that solves a part of my question. I don't know what to do. If I pick the wrong one. Melody and Taizu will be killed. But the buttons look exactly the same. How am I going to choose the right one?!"

-Demon Land-

It has been 2 hours since Tommy had left to the factory. It was nighttime and it surprised Taizu and Melody that it even gets dark here. Melody was lying on her belly in the same positioned she had an hour ago and Taizu was sitting Indian style.

"Do you think my brother is alright?" Melody asked. She was still worried about brother not knowing that he had just found his demonic ability.

"I'm sure he's fine Melly." Melody blinked and turned to Taizu surprised at her nickname.

"Can't you make up your mind? Is it Miss Melody or Melly?!" She asked him. Taizu thought for a while.

"Why don't you choose?" He asked Melody. Melody didn't think she had the right to choose her own nickname. "Well to be honest." She started to blush a little. "I liked M-Miss Melody a lot more."

Taizu smiled. "Good. I didn't like Melly anyway. So…now what?"

"I'm not sure. Menami said we should get to know each other."

Taizu's face went red and his goggles turned pink for the third time today. "Umm…Miss Melody you don't mean." Melody caught onto what he was thinking. "NO! N-NOT AT ALL YOU IDIOT! I MEANT THROUGH TALKING!"

Taizu sighed in relief. "Phew. Thank goodness. So what do you like? Besides being really cute." Taizu wanted to punch himself in the face for saying that last sentence.

Melody smiled at his embarrassment. "Well. I like to play checkers and I'm really into reading books about magic and adventures."

"Boring!"

"So what if it's boring? Do you have anything interesting about yourself?!"

"Well I….I like to play checkers. And I'm an expert." He bragged.

"Your probably bad at it."

"Who says I'm bad at it?" He questioned.

"I just did."

"If we had a checker board in here I'd totally beat you!"

"I bet 1,000,000 dollars you wouldn't!"

"Well….Do you like going to festivals?" He asked at random.

Melody's face smiled even brighter. "Of course I do! I love all types of amusement parks!" Taizu smiled as well. There was something about Melody's smile that made him want to smile as well.

"Maybe there's a cool amusement park here in Demon Land." Taizu said. He then yawned and was rubbed his eyes.

"Aww…Is wittle Taizu sleepy?" She said in a cute baby voice. Taizu was annoyed but was too tired to fight back. He just nodded.

"Using my demonic lightning earlier must've taken a lot out of me." Taizu said.

"Well what do you think time it is here?"

"I don't know. Since it's nighttime I'm guessing it's 9:00. We must've arrived here at like 5 or something. But it feels like it's 12:00."

"Time could be different here. Perhaps it is 12:00 and time just flies faster here in Demon Land." She yawned as well. But she then had a sad expression on her face. Taizu saw her sad look on her face.

"You're worried about Tommy aren't you? Don't worry I'm sure he's fine. You shouldn't doubt your brother so easily Miss Melody." Taizu rubbed her back and assured her that her brother would be fine and had a feeling that he was alright. Melody nodded and smiled at Taizu.

"Thank you. Taizu-kun." She thanked but was surprised he was frowning at her.

"I don't want you to call me with an honorific. If I'm calling you Miss Melody. I want you to call me just Taizu okay?"

Melody didn't think he wanted to be called without any honorific but nodded. "Okay Taizu." Taizu smiled and stretched his arms and yawned. But then laid down on Melody's back and fell asleep.

"You're a nice pillow Miss Melody." He said in his sleep. Melody looked at him with a surprised look on her face but then smiled.

"Goodnight. Taizu." She then fell asleep herself.

-Demon Land-

Tommy was struggling to sleep in one of the rooms he had found a bed in. He decided to pull off from the button choosing and decided that maybe a goodnight sleep would help him decide.

"Maybe I could figure out a clue to which one is the button that frees my friends." He thought before drifting off to sleep.

It was now morning and Tommy had woken up and decided that it was probably 10:00am. He fell back into the hole that was located in Door #20 and ran towards the square podium with the 2 buttons. One freed his friends. One didn't.

He looked at the two buttons and eyed each one carefully to see even the slightest difference between the two. He had his arms crossed and thought to himself. "I can do this! I just gotta figure out which one is the one that frees Taizu and Melody." He cursed himself for being so indecisive. But then remembered something Taizu said to him.

-FlashBack-

"A while ago. After Taizu, Melody and Yoji had defeated the dinosaur demon back in Survival Test 1."

"Hey Tommy! Wanna play some Rock Scissors Paper?!" Taizu asked the young boy.

"Sure!" Before Menami had told Taizu to pick the teams. He wanted to have some fun. The other 7 comrades we're talking amongst themselves. While as Melody was watching the 2 boys.

"What are you two doing?"

"Having fun." Taizu said bluntly.

"Rock Scissors Paper? Such a childish game." Melody said.

"Hey! Your just mad because your no fun sister!" Tommy insulted.

Melody frowned. "What are you trying to say?"

Tommy crossed his arms and closed his eyes. "Since you're the oldest you think your always." He bends his fingers. "Mature."

Melody was forming a dark aura around her. "Are you trying to say I can't have any fun?!"

Taizu joined in. "Well I don't think he means-

"Of course I do." Tommy said.

Melody was summoning her dark magic and put her hand in the direction of Tommy's face. "Since you're my brother I'll give you a chance. GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T BLAST AWAY YOUR FREAKING HEAD!"

Tommy gulped and stared at his sister sweating. He went down on the floor and admitted defeat. Taizu simply just blinked. "Your right. Sister-senpai is the ruler. I'm just a simple peasant."

Melody walked over to her brother and patted his head. "See I told you I could be fun." She started to laugh. "Go ahead. Lose to Taizu-kun."

Taizu joined in on the laughter. "See! Miss Melody is funny! And she's right I am gonna win."

Tommy instantly got up and got in a rock paper scissors position. "What makes you think I'm gonna lose."

Taizu got ready as well. "Let's go!"

"ROCK, SCISSORS PAPER HA!" Both boys aimed their arms to the center. Taizu's hand was paper and Tommy's hand was rock. Melody started laughing.

"Hahaha! I have dark mage powers remember! I can totally predict who was going to win. They may not be certain but it's pretty accurate." Melody laughed.

Tommy looked down. "I don't get it. Rock Paper Scissors is a 50% chance game. How was it accurate that I could lose.

Taizu looked at Tommy. "I've noticed something. You launched her hand a couple of seconds after mine. I'm guessing you're pretty indecisive. Sometimes in situations like this, it's best to go with your instincts instead of the other possible outcomes."

"Instincts?"

Taizu nodded. "Yeah." He bend down and put his hand on Tommy's shoulder. "While it's good to think about your choices and not just picking a random choice. Sometimes your instincts can be 90% reliable. I'm not saying it's certain but as Miss Melody said earlier. It's pretty accurate."

Tommy looked up at Taizu and smiled. "Yeah. I guess your right." Melody smiled at the two boys. She really liked how Taizu was like Tommy's older brother. She then blushed at the thought of if Taizu is like an older brother than Tommy than she must be…She shook her head and just returned to smiling at the two boys."

-Present-

"That's it! Just like what Taizu said! Instincts! Instead of wasting my time focusing on the two choices. I'll use my instincts. It's not reliable. But it's not like I have a ton of options right now."

Tommy closed his eyes and focused. And then he clicked the left button. There was a long pause. But the button shined green. It worked.

"Yes! My friends are free!" Tommy jumped out of Door#20 and ran down the hallway.

"Taizu was right! Instincts are a lot reliable than choices in situations like these!"

Back at Fountain Forest. Taizu and Melody we're still asleep and the rope trap had released them. They fell back on the ground still in the same position they we're in prior to them going to sleep. Melody was still asleep and Taizu had just woken up.

"Huh? We're free?" Taizu squinted and rubbed his eyes but forgot he had actually fell asleep on Melody's back. He blushed and removed himself from her immediately.

"I'M SO-SORRY MISS MELODY I-

He noticed she was still asleep. He smiled. "Miss Melody even looks cute when she's sleeping."

-My sister's cute huh?" Taizu looked and saw Tommy looking at him. Taizu ran over and hi fived the 15 year old.

"Tommy buddy! Your back! I knew you could do it." Taizu said.

"Yeah! But guess what there we're two buttons instead of one. And you we're right, instincts can work in those situations!" Tommy said.

"Your right my friend!" Taizu smirked.

Tommy nodded and took out his bazooka from his backpack. "I think this is my demonic ability. I have the power to use this awesome gun and change it's forms."

"Change it's forms? How?"

"THAT'S SIMPLE TAIZU-KUN." Taizu and Tommy looked up and sighed.

"Menami?"

"Not you again." Taizu said annoyed with what she had told him earlier.

"NICE TO SEE THE BOTH OF YA TOO! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO TOMMY-KUN IS SAY "GEAR CHANGE, GUN" AND IT'LL CHANGE FROM A BAZOOKA BACK TO A GUN."

"Alright then! GEAR CHANGE! GUN FORM!" The gun then began to glow and in a bright light it morphed back into it's original state.

Tommy shot the gun at a nearby tree and it worked. "Awesome! Thanks Menami! It's back to normal."

"NO PROBLEM TOMMY-KUN! JUST A LITTLE REWARD FOR YOU SURVIVING THAT ONSLAUGHT OF ROBOTS!"

Tommy sweatdropped. "You make it seemed like I wasn't going to survive."

"So Menami, what's that demonic ability called anyway?" Taizu asked.

"WELL TAIZU-KUN. YOU'RE DEMONIC ABILITY IS DEMONIC ELECTRICITY.YOJI-KUN'S DEMONIC ABILITY IS DEMONIC FIRE AND MELODY-KUN'S DEMONIC ABILITY IS DARK MAGIC. BUT TOMMY'S IS GUN FORMATION."

"Gun formation?" Tommy repeated Menami's words.

"YES. THIS DEMONIC ABILITY IS A PRETTY FACINATING ONE. THE USER OF THE GUN GIVES THEIR DEMONIC ENERGY TO THE BULLETS THAT ARE FIRED. THE STRONGER YOUR ENERGY IS, THE MORE POWERFUL EACH SHOT GETS. IT VARIES FROM WHICH WEAPON YOU CHANGE YOUR GUN IN. YOUR NORMAL GUN IS PRETTY STRONG ITSELF BUT UPGRADING IT TO BAZOOKA CAN CAUSE A LOT OF YOUR ENERGY, AND CAN EXAUST YOU QUICKLY. YOUR PURPLE DRAG WEAPON ESPECIALLY."

"I see. So that's why my body felt weak after using the bazooka shot once." Tommy stated.

"YOU MUST BE ESPECIALLY CAREFUL. PURPLE DRAG IS A WEAPON CREATED FROM THE BLOOD OF MANY DRAGONS. IT'S AN EXTREMELY POWERFUL AND RARE WEAPON. YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED THAT THE BULLETS LOOKED MORE LIKE FIRESHOTS THAN ACTUAL BULLETS. AND ALSO THE BLOOD COMES FROM YOU AS WELL. JUST REMEMBER THIS TOMMY-KUN. IF YOU'RE WEAPON IS DESTROYED. THAN YOU'LL DIE."

Taizu gasped, but in a more excitement way than actually shocked. "Really? Your serious?!"

Tommy though was the opposite and gulped. "Y-You mean if I supposedly get this weapon destroyed. T-Then I'll d-die?"

"THAT'S RIGHT! IT SHOULDN'T BE TOO HARD THOUGH. PEOPLE WITH THESE WEAPONS USUALLY HAVE A DEATH RATE AT 90% BYE BYE!"

Tommy wasn't satisfied. "9-90% chance of d-death?"

Taizu pat him on the back. "Don't worry man! Remember what I taught you about instincts…Well I guess this a lot different than rock paper scissors hehe." Tommy sighed. His knew his friend was trying to help, but he wasn't doing a very good job at it.

Melody woke up and got up from her position. She missed the warmth she felt from Taizu when he was lying on her back but tossed that thought off. She stretched and noticed Tommy and Taizu standing next to eachother.

"TOMMY!" She ran to her brother and gave him a hug. Taizu smiled at the two siblings.

"Melody you're squeezing me."

"Of course I am you idiot! I thought you we're dead for sure."

Tommy was surprised. "Y-You we're worried about me?"

"Of course I was! I'm your older sister. It's my job to take care of you. You saved Taizu and me. I'm so proud of you!"

Tommy remembered back on his home planet that Melody would often tease and prove that she was better than he was at everything. He really hated her for that. But this time he enjoyed the embrace his sister had given him. "Thank you sister."

Tommy showed his sister his new weapon and she was impressed by how he has the ability to change the form of his gun.

"That's really amazing Tommy." Melody complimented her brother.

"I know! It's way better than your Dark M-

Melody started glaring in a dark aura at her brother. "I mean…Far less superior than your amazing Dark Magic." He backed up sweating in fear.

"Well, we finished our area! I wonder how the others are doing."

"Well I'm sure they went through their areas as smoothly as we did." Melody hoped for the best for her new friends as well as Taizu.

"What are you talking about? I did all the work. If it wasn't for me you and your precious Taizu would still be stuck in that trap." He ran off and knew that his sister would go in a rage. And he was right. Melody was red faced and was angry and was ready to levitate off the ground and kill her brother. "WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU LITTLE BRAT!" She ran off after him. Taizu had no clue what just happened but began to ran off with them.

"Hey guys! Wait for me!"
