Annabeth is a thirteen-year-old girl who's transferred to a boarding school meant for orphan children. It's hardly even an hour after she arrives that she begins to learn things she never even would have suspected to be true from seven girls--Cordelia, Natalee, Olivia, Erica, Yekiterina, Samantha, and Hunter. This leads her to be forced into another world on Earth she only thought could exist in fantasy novels. After Annabeth has two odd nightmares, the others think she may have a second ability: receiving omens. Hunter takes the girls to go investigate wherever Annabeth had found herself in both nightmares. Turns out, not only had the dreams led them to one of the gems, but it also led them to a boy with special powers who was being held captive.
