Summary:
Isabel has lived alone with her mother in a small town in Arizona since the day she was born. Alone and friendless, her life is monotonous and boring until she begins to be stalked by a mysterious man whom she's never seen before. After one too many encounters, and a strange inquiry to "make a wish", Isabel is sent spiraling into a strange realm where she meets Juliet, Lizbet, Shane, and Marco; four kids who are in the same situation as her and just as desperate to find a way home alive. Will they find what they are searching for? Or will these four kids be forced to learn the true meaning of "be careful what you wish for"?

I like how you throw the reader straight into the action, and set up the importance of things, such as the snakes, for the reader (or should I say "me" and make this less formal?) or me to guess what part they'll play in the future and in the overall story plot. I also love the cliffhanger at the end!
