"We'll love you
no matter what."
Yeah,
what a load of SOPHISTRY.
It's one of those things
that has been said
TOO MANY times,
used to wipe away
the bad memories.
But it's gone TOO FAR,
It's happened
too many times.
I try to speak
to shout my pain,
but I AM INVISIBLE
and my father only laughs
at my mother's whispered words
while in darkness I DROWN.
I can only quote
"Oh, dear mother, I loved you
I'm sorry, I wasn't good enough
Dear father, forgive me
'Cause in your eyes,
I just never added up
In my heart I know I failed you,
but you left me here ALONE"
and I drive my fist
into the wall
again and again
until I BLEED;
all I can do
is bleed...

This story has some format issues, but the writing started out really good. The ending didn't seem very believable to me, taking away from the overall of the story, but the author did do a nice job of describing and writing the scene. Overall, a decent read.
